I waited less than five minutes in the waiting room with some very simple paperwork and was immediately seen by the doctor's assistant. After a very brief conversation about my acute afflictions, I was offered a throat and nasal culture to check for strep or flu. The strep culture came back positive and about 8 1/2 minutes and I was written a script for a Z pack, Sudafed, Mucinex, and given a doctors excuse for work. All this for 50 bucks I am impressed. Would have given five stars but it's one of those shopping center clinics it looks kind of sketchy.

Terrible experience. NP was great but when I called the assistant out on mixing 2 medications…read moretogether that should never be mixed in a shot she was about to give me she got defensive. I even said...your giving me two shots right? She said yes. Then I said 'why do I just see one syringe?' Then she said she mixed them. Told her that's not correct and then she says "well I'm not a nurse!" I said well you should know how to prepare the medication they are allowing you to give! I asked her to redo it. Lost trust and was aggravated by her when she didn't bring two new vials in but instead had the contents separated quickly into two syringes. I asked to see the two new vials. She yeIls, " I'm not doing this and leaves the room." Then she starts googling it and I heard her yelling 'you can give toradol and a steroid together!' I opened the door and had to correct her again saying this isn't about a person taking these during the same treatment...it's that you can't mix the two in the same syringe as it effects the stability of the toradol. It scares the heck out of me that a person is googling this stuff and misunderstanding it. Then she started calling me names and swearing at me. What a disaster. The NP told her to go home but wasn't interested in hearing my concerns. I was in a lot of pain with a headache and now it's even worse. What an unprofessional person. Before you get a shot do your homework and see if they can be MIXED in the same syringe. Toradol (ketoralac) is one that mixes with nothing. I only know this cause I'm in healthcare. Feel sorry for all the people before me who got a shot that's rendered ineffective if given the wrong way!

Throughout my visits, I have only worked with Dr. Dalisay and Dr. Kim, both of whom have been a pleasure to work with. Dr. Kim always answered all of my questions and provided clear and helpful information. When I learned that Dr. Kim was no longer available, I was sad; however, I was fortunate to be connected with Dr. Yeema, who was incredibly sweet. She made me feel comfortable and well-informed during my visit. I even had my lab work done right there in the office! Thank you for everything you do!

The unpleasant: The Unsmiling, commanding, lackadaisical, piss-poor attitude of receptionist/weight taker/blood pressure taker girl (same person). Not sure why she was even in the profession. Took over an hour to be seen even though we were 3rd in line. On a Sunday. Mid day. Of course, the doctor was unrushed with us, so he may have been that way with the other folks in front of us. Apparently, there was only one doctor on duty - A good one though. The bottom line: Once we got past the surly receptionist and the long wait, the treatment was pretty good. If you're willing to hang in there and be patient, you will be happy.

Well first of all I wasn't discharged from my appointment till 7:30pm and the pharmacy closes at…read more8pm. Not a big deal except when the pharmacy opens back up at 9am and they say there is an issue with the way the script was written by the doctor. So I've called TGH Urgent Care 3 times and CVS 3 more times as well and still at 1pm have not been able to get this script corrected. TGH Urgent Care isn't correcting their error and now I've been almost a full day without my needed medication and no one is doing anything to fix it. It shouldn't be this hard for a doctor to correct a script they just wrote. This is unacceptable

I…read moremade a notification appt on their website that I was on my way, I like others thought it was an appt, but it's actually just a heads up so they know what is incoming & when. There were a few people waiting in the lobby, I checked in with the front desk guy, I asked how long the wait would be and he said there were 8 people ahead of me. I was a little alarmed because my bp was bouncing between 170-180/100's, not safe. So I waited a few minutes and gathered my thoughts and turned and explained to the man, I get their are other people here but my bp is too high to just sit around and wait. So I was quickly brought back and asked what was up and had my bp taken by a very nice and caring man. He agreed it was way too hi to sit around. Then the NP, Regina came in. She said it was too high and she wanted me to go to the er to get the proper care. She wrote out a script and said this would move me to the front if they were busy. She reassured me it was the best solution she had for me. I was grateful I was in and out of there in 10 minutes because their triage system worked and I advocated for myself calmly. Later that evening, around 7 after I returned home from the er and was resting I received a call that said "healthcare." Thinking it was the hospital, I answered and it was NP Regina calling to ck up on me. She said she was worried about me and wanted to make sure I received propert care at the er. I told her what they did and she she was relieved. We wished each other a Happy New Year, and I went back to sleep. This is the first time ever that I felt cared for in a scary er/urgent care sitch. Imaging was fast and friendly. Lady that did ultrasound was very nice. She did a great job. Blood work was also great. Did not hurt and they found my vein right away, not always the case at some places. Elvira took my blood and was so nice. Talked with me the whole time to take my mind off the bloodwork. Because I had 2 appointments I had to wait in between, which is expected. The original lady that checked me in came over in between to make sure I had been seen. I was thankful and honestly do not always see someone like that who cares and wants you to be helped right away. So happy with everyone I was in contact with at BayCare. Definitely recommend this place. They do so much from regular care, imaging, blood, rehab, fitness. Very clean and modern inside.
