The staff at check in was great and made the check process easy. I had already filled out most of my information online but check in was smooth. I was quickly called back to an exam room and the attendant was professional and thorough. They explained they would need to take X-rays and that was handled quickly. However, once I got back to the exam room, the doctor took about 45 minutes to come to the room and do the exam and explain the X-rays. He was professional and explained everything in a straightforward manner and answered all of my questions. OrthoCarolina did a great job, it was the wait time that bothered me and there was no apology for the long wait time. I would recommend!

They really know their stuff. Beyond knowing their stuff is their continual dialogue with patients. On each appointment we began discussing how the exercises were working, how I was feeling, what is working or not. Then we would get into planning for that day and going forward. I was involved in the therapy. And we continued in this joint planning over a month of treatments. They administer a tablet form of survey asking about your condition and how it is affecting your life. After the therapy has run its course you complete the same survey, so they have a before and after record of your condition. Impressive and given the people cycling through this practice it was clear that the facility and all the therapists were doing something special. Good resource for most all of us.

Then I kept receiving notices that I owe money. After several calls with the billing department, uploading my receipt of payment, and going back and forth, it is still unresolved. I have spent several hours trying to get this issue resolved and it is still open-ended. I would never go back to this urgent care based on this experience alone. Like how hard it is to apply the payment I made through my account, to my outstanding balance on my account? This is so frustrating.

I got selected for a random drug test to continue my medication. I asked for the cost and was informed of the copay, nothing further. Well, needless to say I was shocked when I got a $200 bill in the mail for a drug test THEY wanted to do to continue filling a medication I've been on for 10 years. Not happy about this at all. I've never had to take one before nor was it a yearly requirement or anything. If you come here, make sure it's for basic requests because there could be hidden charges for anything out of the norm.

Happy to have the coverage, despite the $80 co-pay. Which would have been less of a problem had the NURSE PRACTITIONER done any testing. Rather, he spent 20 minutes with her, performed ZERO TESTS of any kind and said, "She is at the end of her cold and if you want to get her some cold medicine." It has been 12 days since I took her there, with either zero improvement, or its worse. I called the Gohealth Arboretum location and "Kayla" picked up. I explained all of this to her and suggested that they allow us to return when she gets out of school today so that she can actually be evaluated and given whatever she needs to improve. Kayla said there was no way to waive the $80 fee, so I would have to pay another $80 for additional assistance. She said she would have someone call me back, I suggested to her that was unacceptable and she said she would have someone call me back. SHE LIED. I located the Gohealth customer feedback line 678-774-7100 and left all of this information on their voicemail. They were supposed to call me back and they did not either. My insurance rep had this to say about David Cress, the NURSE that doesn't know anything about medicine apparently. He went on to say he has POLO SHIRTS older than Mr Cress. So if you want over priced non-help with a dash of ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE then I can't recommend them highly enough. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. Hell, why pay another $80 for questionable assistance? I didn't realize they created a huge new store behind this location. The staff here are friendly and they saw my mom right away due to them not being busy. There looks to be a daily Atrium practice next door to the ER. I'm sure the parking lot would be super busy during the day but it's pretty quiet in the evening time.

I didn't feel like driving to Urgent Care where there are usually long wait, forget the ER, i'll give CVS a try. When I got there I found a "check-in" kiosk back by the pharmacy, where I input all my information, (name, dob, etc...) Someone in a white coat walked by quickly with cleaning supplies and let me know they would be with me as soon as she had finished cleaning the other room. So they have 2 exam rooms, there was no one there, and no wait. So far, so good. I was called in within 5 minutes. Learned the woman cleaning the rooms was a MD. Usually these are staffed by Nurse Practitioners, or Physician Assistants, but I guess I got lucky! Anyways, described my symptoms, she looked at me, asked if I had gotten a flu shot, I replied proudly " Nope! Never had the flu in my life", later learning I was an idiot. Ran the test, which consisted of sticking a pipe cleaner like instrument up my nose until it tickled my brain. Stuck it in a machine, 6 mintues later, yup, you have the flu. Got my prescription, which could be filled 5 feet away. With my insurance it only ended up costing me $10 plus my meds!! Overall great experience, the Dr. was super friendly and very personable. Total time in and out was less than 20 minutes. Hopefully I don't have to, but I would come back if I ever needed to!
