SNAP machines haven't worked for months. The only way to use SNAP here is to give them your card and PIN numbers which poses personal security risks. Subs are great. But there's a 50 / 50 chance they'll make them for you based on the number of customers in the store or if they simply don't want to do it ... as I experienced today. Barely any customers in store, still didn't want to do it. Recommendation(s) : Go somewhere else; many other convenience stores in the area with better prices and customer service..

And when I pulled in this morning, sure enough, a gas attendant runs over and pumps my gas. He was a little green at the routine, stumbling over protocols - I might have been his first customer. But he wiped my windshield, spending significant energy scraping off some well smooshed bug. And let me tell you, there's nothing quite as surreal as being half asleep (waiting for the coffee to kick in) and watching some dude go to town on your windshield wiping off bugs. It got me thinking, "hey, maybe there is something to this Full Service thing." But back to my original question, "Is Binghamton a Full Service type of town." Personally, I don't think so. I think people here are a tad suspicious of new services. Besides, there's a certain manly pride that comes from pumping the fuel. But my wife thinks it could be a hit - she hates pumping gas and would go out of her way to have someone pump it for her. So who knows what will happen. In anycase, Full Service gas has hit Binghamton. It hasn't seemed to raise prices, although this Exxon tends to be on the higher edge of gas prices. But it's darn convenient.

So when they are done pumping your gas you have to back up and try to get out of there. So today a girl kept backing up and almost hit me. I couldn't go anywhere because there was a truck behind me. So then the I pull up and the attendant yells at me to stop. So I left. It's just very dangerous there! It was easier when they had the arrows. Tiny little lot on an angle, sometimes it's a pain in the butt to pull in to the actual pumps themselves, and there is very limited parking, so people tend to leave their vehicles at the pumps when they run into the convenient store part. Never had an issue with the attendant or with any of the machines. Definitely the most convenient place to get gas for where I'm going, definitely will return.

The station is full service, but prices are same or better than rival stations. And since it is a relatively small company, you don't have to be morally torn by news stories of record profits during national tragedies or exploding deep ocean oil plumes.
