Ahh, the Hudson Valley needs to do something about this, specifically Dutchess County. Seriously, Wegmans has a variety of choices, lots of food, drinks, and snacks, and just about everywhere to look, there's something. While observing, most of these products look in great shape, which includes being well-stocked, and easy to find. It looks to me that the work they do pays off, which it does. With that in mind, it may come to a challenge of where to start, in terms of pricing, etc, but their unique selections (which in most cases,) have great quality. I could honestly spend time here for a while, or any Wegmans. Also, they provide food that includes an option for eating "for here," which provides tables for any convenience. The floor looks very clean and presentable, which is expected, and also hard work is done. No doubt, anyone will enjoy making a stop at Wegmans!

My first Wegmans was the new-ish one in Brooklyn, NY. This upstate one is only my second, as Wegmans is not in my local area. The store is reliably good, with fresh items and an impressive variety. It was good to shop here, and I miss having the chance to do so.

Wish we had Wegmans on the West Coast! Stopped for lunch supplies and ended up walking every aisle just to see what they had. Pretty sure they have everything you could imagine and more! Local organic goods, seasonal decor, fresh produce, an amazing selection of bakery items and fresh breads, micro brewery beers, and a prepared foods section that had me drooling. The only downside was no wine; which I forgot New York has separate liquor stores for certain percentage alcohols. May need to make another trip before we leave Binghamton (at least for travel snacks to bring to the airport)!

Though Wegman's is very busy and more crowded than what I'm used to, but it's well stocked with a ton to offer! They have a cafe. They have a baked goods and to-go section that has pre-made sandwiches, salads. They have a large section of pre-made plates, wings, Asian food. A sushi section. Huge amounts of produce, organic and regular. An expansive cheese department as well as fresh cut and pre-cut meats. They have cheese plates, dips. Large frozen section, tons of drinks. They have all the regular grocery fare, frozen etc. They have a to-go pizza operation. They also have some random stuff like patio furniture? I usually shop at Kroger when at home, and I do like the ability to scan my own items as I shop, and just checkout quickly at the end. The checkout process here is a little arduous, but all employees were nice and helpful.

This is my dream grocery store. If only we had them in California. It's like Whole Foods or Gelson's with the selection at Sprouts' (affordable) pricing, and the expansiveness and stock of a Target or Costco! These stores are HUGE. They have an in-house bakery, aisles and aisles of dry goods, and so much fresh produce. We came in here looking just for kombucha and found so much more that we wanted including fresh apple cider and other snacks. Very important: they have bottles of Lupo's spiedie marinades that are famous in Binghamtom/upstate New York! You don't have to go to the restaurant. There is a fun train that runs around the supermarket, so be sure to look up!

The items that they stock their store with are generic brands for the most part, but sometimes they get some name brand items. All of the generic brand items taste great, I have never bought something from Aldi and thought that it was inedible. They are a smaller grocery store and may not carry everything that you will need, especially if you need something more specific for a certain recipe. You can definitely get most of your staple grocery items at Aldi and you will be amazed at how much you can save compared to regular grocery stores! The produce is so cheap and great quality. Bring a quarter if you want a grocery cart, you have to put a quarter in the cart to unlock it. Bring your cart back when you're finished and you get your quarter back. Also, bring old bags, reusable bags, or boxes because you have to bag your own groceries. They also have bags that you can purchase if you need to. While the quarter for a cart and the bring your own or pay for bag policies seem strange, the company says it's a way in which they are able to keep prices low.

This is a hit-or-miss Walmart, and my rating has nothing to do with the absence of a vision center…read moreor fast food restaurant. So I'm doing a "roll back", to use the company's lingo, to make it clear this location is barely mediocre for Walmart standards in the year 2020. We all know Walmart as a place where you can always find what's not at your go-to grocery store, pharmacy, or other discount store (or what's too expensive at one of these three places compared to what you can safely guesstimate the price will be at Walmart). Not here. One day, there were no 40oz bottles of generic honey. On more than one occassion one or two varieties of commonly sold generic dry beans weren't on the shelves (I can't remember if I was looking for chick or black, but I wasn't looking for an organic heirloom medley.). Yesterday they only had green lentils, there weren't any red lentils. There was the time I just knew there'd be more baby shampoo/conditioner options here compared to CVS but found fewer than five types of baby shampoo and no baby conditioner. I want to talk about the folding chair I couldn't find yesterday, but I didn't ask a staffer to verify their inventory (like I did when looking for a utility cart, of which there was only one), so I won't. Then there's the issue of a lack of training or lack of wanting to follow procedure. It hasn't happened a lot, but it's happened enough to be one of the factors that made a case for this yelp. So, based on my complaints above, inventory and stocking seem to be an issue. There was the time when my refund was put on my credit card instead of on my debit card because, even though I paid with a debit card, the staffer claimed there was a glitch preventing the refund to be applied to my debit card. And yesterday, I experienced another one for the #ReallyTho files: The cashier who helped us - who was as slow as molasses, btw (Real talk: the person who came behind us to be the thrid in line, waited, observed, then shook his head a little and left for another queue) - ABSOLUTELY NEEDED to unnecessarily touch all three of my bulk bread items to ring them up. Even though I'd put them in one clear bag, and even though ringing up these items doesn't require weighing them separately - which I know for sure because I'd learned to ring them up myself at self check-out in Vestal - this cashier needed to handle my food. She pulled out my mini ciabatta and put it in a separate bag; then pulled out each of the mini baguettes (one wheat one white) and just held them in her hand, one by one, while trying to ring them up because she could neither remember nor find the code for these three $1 items. That's when I noticed that she was wearing gloves. But wait. Had she always been wearing the gloves? Because I have never EVER - not even when I've put my bulk items in a brown bag - had a cashier need to touch my food, it never crossed my mind to be so critical of this one. I mean, I didn't find a booger on my bread when I got home, but still. This was not the context for tactile learning, gloves or no gloves, which didn't help any because she STILL rang up the bread wrong (and I made sure to tell her twice the $1 price I saw on the bin of each variety). Seriously, L'eggo my mini ciabatta and mini baguettes, girlfriend. So yeah, two stars for these guys. #SorryNotSorry
