She lied and was inappropriate, the Doctor was indifferent. The Doctor sent a letter to my mother saying she is no longer welcomed as a patient!!! That, added to the mix that they close for an hour from noon-1pm (when working people might be able to go there, since there are no nights or weekends). If you try to avoid a very long wait and schedule a 1pm apt. - the office staff doesn't turn on the lights or even appear until sometimes 10 after. The lack of respect they show for the patients, the doctor and the other staff members is unprofessional and after hearing many patients say the same thing, I can only hope that Dr. R. wakes up before her practice is forced to close. Sick people don't need to be treated like pesky annoyances.

She listens well & answers every question with empathy. Recently my wife was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disorder that affected her vision. DrK scheduled our appointment earlier than her office opened & coordinated appointments with 4 specialists that same day. Additionally, she ordered MRIs that same day to insure my wife?s symptoms weren?t caused by the AI disease. A cerebral aneurysm was discovered due to Dr. K?s diligence with the MRI. She directed us to a very skilled neurosurgeon who performed an angiogram & subsequent craniotomy to resolve the life threatening aneurysm. During my visit, I did not receive an appropriate examination--my vitals and throat were not checked--and I was dismissed with the comment, "Well, if you are speaking, you should go back to work." I have been in pain for several days and was seeking proper documentation to provide to my employer. I was informed when scheduling the appointment that paperwork could be completed for an additional fee, yet upon arrival, I was told it would not be filled out unless I was seen a second time. The dismissive and unprofessional demeanor displayed during the appointment only added to the distress of the situation. I rarely seek medical care, and experiences like this reinforce the hesitation many patients feel when reaching out for help. This is not reflective of the standard of care one should expect from a healthcare provider.

This doctor needs to realize his support staff are the face of his office and hiring patient oriented individuals is a must! Don't go here if you care about your aging mom or dads treatment!
