I purchased a…read moreCaldera Tahitian hot tub nearly a year ago, and have never managed to get the salt water system to work. Followed the directions to the letter three times - no joy. Repeated requests for help net either no response, or appointments that are missed with no follow on call. Honestly, it is so bad that they recognize me immediately when entering the store and say "oh - we didn't get out there again, did we"...and then we do it all again, with the same result. If you are lucky and your tub just works, then great - the sale part is fine. However, if you ever have a problem, then good luck dealing with these folks!

The issue with hot tub Heaven is that the problems have been ongoing now for sometime and feels more like how this place is currently run. I feel I should be fair when rating a company and over the last couple of years I'd say that hot tub Heaven has more than earned their two star rating. When we bought our hot tub we worked with Jimmy John to get the right hot tub and set up the delivery and install. Apparently he is one of few shining stars at this place and I'm not sure if he's even there anymore. The feeling we get is that this is a great place to buy a brand new hot tub, but when you need products or services after the purchase of the tub itself, good luck. We have resorted to ordering all of our chemicals on Amazon because this business has done absolutely nothing to keep us as customers. When I have questions and I call them they answer the phone every time like they are at a funeral and you are bothering them. As I said, I would not give any business a low rating because of one single incident, but a dozen or so phone calls in the last two years and every time they answer that way. I requested for someone to call me back about setting up a service of my hot tub, been waiting 6 months for that call back. I requested a repair appointment for a leak in the tub (which I caused, not a fault of the tub or the company) and the woman I spoke to said that even though they do repairs to hot tubs they may not be able to fix a leak because it may require plumbing work and removal of insulation. I literally told her, "ma'am, it's a hot tub, everything in it is plumbing or electrical. Do you not work on plumbing as part of the repair process? Also, insulation can be pulled out and put back in or replaced if it's saturated. It's not like is concrete and would have to be broken out." She sighed heavily, because as I said, I'm bothering her and she is apparently at a funeral. She then told me she could get someone out to look at it, but not to hold my breath on it being fixed because they probably can't fix what's wrong with it. I kept the appointment just in case, but I hung up the phone with her and contacted an actual hot tub repair person who got me in the following day and was able to repair the simple issue of replacing a hose clamp and reseating a water line that had popped off. He was also able to work around the insulation which seems to be a daunting task for hot tub Heaven. In short, hot tub Heaven and the people they currently have there do not seem to care about their customers. They don't care enough to call you back to take care of a problem, they don't even seem to want anyone's business. So we will oblige them and never use them again for any service or product needs. Also, if we upgrade our tub in the future we will not bother them with our business, we will take our business somewhere that it's appreciated.

    FIVE STARS for Luis who helped me from the front desk a couple days ago. I had three different…read morequestions, and he was super helpful. He definitely went the second mile. He had to check with his manager (who was off that day) about one thing and asked if he could call me the next day with an answer. He actually ended up calling while I hadn't yet driven away from the facility. Luis did a remarkable job with a great attitude! I hope he gets a raise. :) I would give the entire facility five stars because I enjoy this place very much, but one disappointment I continue to have is how long it takes for repairs to be made when things break. I actually made a list in my phone of things I love and don't love. Why not paste it here? Love * Pleasant Smell when I walk into the gym. * The cleanliness of the lobby. * The natural light pouring in from huge windows. * The usually friendly greeting from the staff. * Filtered water fountains throughout the facility. * Free Ice machine in front. * Numerous class options. * The personal trainers I've met--pretty great people. * All the various sitting areas. It is welcoming for a person to just come hang out. * The cafe and healthy food options (along with a few not-so-healthy). * Lovely and newly renovated basketball/volleyball court. * Fantastic views of mountains, especially from the treadmills. Ahhhhh * Variety of cardio machines. * The multiple places to stretch and do my own PT exercises. * The intentional signage about fitness floor etiquette--thank you. * The provision of towels (small and large), Q-tips, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion--also great smells. * The cold, wet hand towels (sprinkled with ice cubes) provided by the hot tub and sauna. Nice touch! * The delightful pool area. I thoroughly enjoy spending a few minutes to sit in the sun after a workout. There is landscaping and trees separating the adult pool from the kiddos' (which is remarkable with slides and fun things), so we don't really hear the kids or even see them. We enjoy the separate space with many options for shade or sun. Feels like a resort. * Friendly class instructors. The ones I have experienced are encouraging without being demeaning. I enjoy the camaraderie between the members too. Don't love * Light burned out by mirror in locker room that has been so for months * Broken towel hooks in showers--also been broken for months * The smell of mold in some of the showers * The rust on the plumbing by the toilets * Certain places on the tile in toilet areas that haven't been cleaned for a long time * Blow dryers breaking and not being replaced * The ladies' hot tub being shut down for several days * How long it took to replace conditioner when it ran out. If it is a supply problem, worst case send an employee to Costco to buy several containers to hold things over until the situation is resolved. * How expensive the cafe is. * The number of cardio machines that have broken pieces that have gone unrepaired. * The decision to not carry the top shelf tequila anymore--the cheaper stuff gives me a migraine. Why not provide members the best? Be winning in the "second mile" like Chick-Fil-A! * How long it takes for broken lockers to be repaired. * Power outlet in the locker room with a sign that reads "out of service" that has been like that for months. * The various places of dead landscaping (by the entrance, by the pool bathrooms). * So many laminated signs telling us something is out of service! That's nice as opposed to hand-written signs taped everywhere. How about more energy to fix things promptly, though? * Employees power-washing the steam room during the middle of the day. Rather do that after hours? Signs are posted to discourage phone use in the locker room that hurts the atmosphere, yet power washing in the middle of the day was acceptable. This hasn't happened for a while--perhaps they've made a change on this. I am grateful they're cleaning the steam room! * Consideration for employees and how leadership decisions affect them. I've heard from a few employees (and one parent) that this is can be an unfortunate issue. All these "don't love" things, I believe, could be easily fixed with leadership being attentive. Having been in leadership in some way or another most of my life, I know just a few intentional decisions and implementation of systems of quality control could make a big difference. Maybe have certain team members walk through daily checking for details and empowering them to make work orders for repairs. Have arrangements for prompt fixes after hours! Reward your staff! Listen to them. Pay well. You'll keep the good ones longer if you treat them well. Be generous! The whole place will feel the difference, and you'll have more members joining and staying as a result. All things considered, I am super grateful to have found this gym and for my membership here. It's a very happy place for me, and I look forward to every time I'm here!

Many people have complained about this issue, and the club refuses to replace chlorine with bromine. When people exercise, they breathe large amounts of that gas, and they DAMAGE THEIR LUNGS PERMANENTLY!!!!

    We were so excited about purchasing our hot tub at first but after having it for a while (less than…read morea year), we are realizing that it really wasn't worth it. If you really want a hot tub then go ahead and spend your hard earned money, but please be aware of the following: -ensure that you have a very level and solid surface to place your tub on (hold weight of at least five thousand pounds) - be aware that if your tub isn't properly/PERFECTLY placed (away from windows if you decide to buy an $8k Covana cover) that warranties may be void! Tub also has to be placed at least 5 feet away from other electrical (AC coil, etc.), and have an inspection done. - Electrical hookups (properly done) for the tub can be very expensive; adding to the installation cost (~$2k), and it has to be inspected - Chemicals and maintenance. The "worry free" chemical (Frog) setup they sell you on, isn't so "worry free." You're going to need extra chemicals to keep the correct balance of chemicals in the water! Extra money! - Oh yeah, that pricey Covana cover I mentioned earlier: (Below comment also on Google for awareness) No way would we purchase a Covana cover ever again! Side lip of Covana roof curling up due to poor quality workmanship and blaming it on sun damage?! The salesman at Backyard and Billyards (store we bought from) made no mention of placement of the tub and Covana cover not being close to a window, and Covana won't honor the warranty on their overpriced piece of crap because there's a window five feet away from the cover/tub! They said they wouldn't cover it under warranty because the sun reflected off the window. That's a sign of a WEAK product! We've had it less than a year and they won't replace the crappy plastic roof that melts in the sun. Anyone contemplating spending $8 grand to buy this POS Covana cover is better off saving their money and going with the regular manual folding cover, then putting a gazebo or wooden frame structure over your tub instead! As for B and B...they're ok for the most part, but almost every time I have had to call them in regards to service or warranty claim status to get any information as to what's happening. Seems like they don't take it upon themselves to keep you informed (call or email) of when you will get your problem solved with the expensive items you pay for! I've left emails and voicemails that have not been returned by them; I've always had to keep calling them. B&B did tell me that they constantly have problems getting Covana to cover stuff under warranty; but B&B still has no issues in selling their product?? If you're wise, don't buy a Covana product.
