The…read moretechnicians leave bare patches/mud ruts with the zero turn mowers as they make turns in place in the wet grass, the lawn regularly has stripes where the grass was "missed," chemical application is unevenly applied as dandelions and other weeds abound, and ragged grass tips reveal that mower blades are rarely sharpened if ever. Perhaps this is not part of our contract, but for as long as I have lived here (10+ years), the lawns have never been aerated, leading to deep thatch and poorly growing grass. For a community where I am not obligated to care for the lawn, I spend an inordinate amount of time attempting to "fix" whatever it is that we are paying Lawn and Shrub to do. Don't get me started on mulch application and edging. Would not recommend.

But when I called again, I left an angry message, wondering why they never did arrive. But no one even bothered to call back. What a disappointment. I thought they were a great company....until this. If they never intended to show up, I wish they would have told me up front. Starting spring clean up in the heat of July was no fun on our part. Was a wonderful company that built a beautiful backyard, then began to forget to service the yard…read more Our family has been a customer for over 10 years. He routinely introduced plants that were not asked for while not performing services that we asked for. Example: left with fish, waterplants, and other things that we had not asked for while the service we asked for (weeding, seeding, aeration) was never done. We asked for the water plants to be taken out and instead lopped off the top of the plants leaving the roots. 3 months later everything was back AND we paid for the labor both times. Great guy, but really doesn't check with customers first once he has you in a service contract.
