After 3 weeks of comparison research I decided to proceed with Bridgetown Printing for my business…read moremailers and business cards. I choose Bridgetown printing because of their current list of clients (Nike) and more importantly the proof they submitted was by far the best I had seen. I also wanted to work with a small independent printer (as opposed to Kinkos, etc.) so I could build a relationship and hopefully continue working with them for future jobs. When I arrived to pick up the completed work I immediately noticed the proof looked nothing like the finished job. The finished job wasn't the same color and more importantly the ink was not fully saturated. My mailer was murky white where it should of been vivid merlot. It was entirely unacceptable and under no circumstances workable for business purposes. The receptionist, production worker and sales manager agreed that the completed work was unacceptable and that they would go back to the drawing board and re-do the job- however this is after about 30 mins of back and forth conversation in their conference room. I received a call the following Monday that they needed to bring in a different paper quality to improve the color and ink saturation. During that conversation I asked what discount they would offer for the unacceptable first round of print, delay in time line and the overall inconvenience considering I had to make another trip into their office. After a few minutes of dialogue and me explaining why I think it's reasonable to offer a discount when the shortcoming is on the business' end and the inconvenience is on my end I was told that they would get back to me. From that point forward I received emails about when the new paper was expect to arrive, or someone calling to confirm they have the correct art work, etc. etc. At no point did anyone mention the revised pricing. Today (4 business days after the original deadline) I received an email that the new paper quality arrived and the proofs were looking better however the pricing would remain the same. Simply and directly I informed them that I am the customer and the shortcoming is on their end. I don't understand who was in charge of quality assurance during printing. Did someone cross reference the approved proof against production? Why did I get a call to come in and pick up my print work when it was obviously unacceptable to everyone in their office. Why is my deadline delayed almost a week because they could not print 500 business cards and 300 postcards? I wonder if the logo had read "nike" would they of called me to pick up the job? If the logo had said "nike" would they of offered a discount to keep in good relations with their customer? I am a small business owner and I think their level of customer service is unacceptable. I am very disappointed and unfortunately need to find another vendor to print my artwork which further delays my time line. I would not recommend Bridgetown printing.

I am completely appalled at this unprofessional and judgmental company. We had fundraised profusely to be able to pay for this order, and all of the magazines were to be distributed for free. Just before the order was scheduled to be printed we were informed that there were curse words and nipples they would not print it unless we removed both. (What? Are we back in 1952? Did I miss something?) We stayed up all night making their edits, and when we sent back the updated files were informed that they would not print our magazine AT ALL. This IS NOT an inappropriate, offensive, or pornagraphic magazine at all, but even if it were, it is not okay to lie to customers and tell them that a business will do something (print thousands of magazines if edits are made) and then still refuse after the necessary changes are made. Please do not give this company any business, they do not deserve to stay in business if they would lie like this. I am a dedicated thrift store enthusiast, generally seeking home décor, dishes, books and clothing, which is not really what Restore is stocking. On my first visit I left empty handed, though I saw some interesting things, and figured someday I'd get to the nitty gritty of Restore. Well, we just moved to the area, and are doing a ton of work on our property. My husband mentioned he needed some doors for our greenhouse, and I recalled seeing some at Restore, so we ended up returning just a few days following! Yeah, that's right, they have doors aplenty (like 50+), and that's just the start. We bought three doors (lol, so random), one of which is an antique farmhouse door with a giant pane of perfect glass. Swoon! Next, doorknobs for $5 and hinges for 50 cents each. My husband found several super specialty plumbing valves that retail for $250+ priced at $25 (seriously, I looked it up!). We also got a yellow fig for $5 'cause I needed a little fun! An aside regarding the plants: they get extras from nurseries, but they also get many from a local guy who just loves to grow plants, and they are gorgeous and giant! My fig was over 2 feet tall, there were huge hot pink hydrangeas, passion flower, herbs, tomatoes, etc. There is a variety of furniture, bits of flooring that would probably be enough for a bathroom remodel, toilets, sinks, light fixtures, paint, tools, hardware, appliances, etc. The store is large, easy to navigate and pretty organized, all things considered (it's still a thrift store, though!). A lot of it is used, but there are new things, too. Basically, if you are remodeling and not in search of a specific item/style/brand, Restore is the place. We are planning to build a tiny house in the future and Restore will be our go to spot. We'll look here first, then go to a big box store for anything additional. The prices can't be beat, there are some seriously unique finds, and every employee we've interacted with has been as pleasant as can be.
