In a world where everything is about speed, it's such a welcome sight to see people who are still dedicated to taking the time to help you with their expertise. I stopped by on a weekday morning with some fragile items. Shipping can be tricky because you don't always have standard mailing sizes at home, but the team here was so awesome in helping me measure, pack, and choose a shipping option that was economical and made sense. I'll admit that I like the USPS's pick up feature at my door, but this was well worth it! Great price and friendly people. The staff acted irresponsibly. The shipment was dropped off at 3:34 PM on 06/12/2025, but the label was created only after 6:00 PM, according to USPS tracking information. Despite their claims that USPS picked up the item promptly, the package was actually held for two days and only picked up on 06/14. USPS is now uncertain about the delivery date. I highly recommend this business! Tracy helped me yesterday notarize a document and was really so professional, patient and friendly throughout the whole process. It was much appreciated! Along with the many services offered, this store has a great supply of gift items for sale. My daughter has successfully picked out gift items for her friends there many times. The people who work at Postal Works off 185th are without question the loveliest group of postal-type workers in the universe! They look for the cheapest option available for you without being asked, explain the differences, and then do what you request efficiently and with an awesome attitude. They are just genuinely helpful and seem to care about your experience there. I haven't been anywhere else in several years unless it's absolutely necessary for an Amazon return. The line always moves right along, and they are just friendly, pleasant people. HIGHLY recommend. Don't bother going anywhere else--you'll end up irate and ripped off. Five stars on customer service, a well staffed store especially during the holidays for extra help, and a fabulous selection of merchandise in their adorable gift shop! Upon walking in, I felt an instant good vibe! The music was good and upbeat, there was laughter in the background and people were walking past me on their way out with smiles! It was a Hallmark moment! I came to mail something since my postal center was closed early for holidays. They had the necessary supplies to make my package perfect and their prices are affordable. The ladies who work there seemed genuinely happy to be there and it was as if I stepped into someone's beautiful home decorated for the holidays who helped me package up my mailing. They all greeted me with a smile and thanked me for being there. I haven't felt such welcome from a store in years and when I worked retail decades ago, that's the exact level of customer service I gave which went unnoticed from my customers who wrote thank you notes to me. Only thing I dislike is the congestion of the area on a busy corner off the highway and getting in and out of that parking lot. read more

Do not ship USPS flat rate from here! A large USPS flat rate box cost over $30 to ship from here and only $21.10 from the post office. A 50% markup (over $10) is not worth it! I feel ripped off and very disappointed. read more

10/10 for service. I have always hated shipping/mailing things. Even around the holidays this location is calm, kind, and solution driven. I've been able to bring loose items and leave them after having them price out the best options for my schedule and budget. They store addresses you've shipped to before which saves time when you're in a rush, and you get an email with your tracking number- so you don't have to type it in from the receipt. GO. HERE. I really needn't say more, but for persuasion's sake, I will. No one enjoys dealing with the postal service, but these people make it a breeze. Every single employee is positively brimming with an optimistic attitude and eagerness to help. They know all there is to know about mail, and they will get it (whatever "it" is) wherever it needs to go as fast and for as cheap as possible (they are certified to ship UPS, FedEx, DHL and USPS, as well as freight). I have brought in everything from grocery bags of clothes to a large comforter and sheet set to the smallest envelope, and the kind folks at Postal Works are consistently ready to assist me in preparing, packaging and sending my goods. No matter how unintelligent I manage to come across (and this is quiet often astoundingly dumb), they are cheerful and patient. Not only will these people mail anything and everything on the face of the Earth (and do it with a smile, no less), they offer a range of box sizes, envelopes and packing materials, as well as greeting cards, wrapping paper and supplies, local chocolates, sweets, spice mixes, jams and a large assortment of knicknacks, from wind chimes to stuffed animals. Postal Works also offers faxing, copying and other printing services. There's even a small walk-up coffee window, which I have never been to, myself, but I do notice that the "drink of the day" changes on schedule. The last experience I had here, I had to overnight a check from the west to the east coast. When the recipient claimed not to have gotten it a week later, and I had lost my tracking number, I began to worry that my check was floating somewhere out there in space. Of course, I was nervous and embarrassed about my mistake, but with a few clicks the young man behind the counter pulled up my information and was able to tell me exactly when and where the package had been delivered (on time, of course) and even provided me with Fed Ex's phone number in case I should need to get in touch with them. Ultimately, this offers most of the services you'd find at any Kinko's, but on a much more personal level and from employees who genuinely care. I'd never take my mail anywhere else. read more

Whatever the reason(s), it laid wide open the possibility of anyone with any vision or entrepreneurial gusto to swoop in set up shop. Biggups to Postal Works for you and your accessibility. This is a store that's part old school Hallmark with all the trinketry, and part old school pharmacy--- all it needs on the counter is a soda fountain and a soda jerk proper, attending. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable and the place was chock full of cute stuff. I love this place. For mailing anything you could dream, it is great. They also copy keys with cheaper rates than Fred Meyer! Their gift items can be on the spendy side, but they get great seasonal stuff in for each holiday, and then have awesome discount sales on leftover merch when the holiday is over! They are nice when you don't know them.....after 10+ years, you get to know the real personalities.... One gal today got pissed because SHE wasn't ready for me to pick up MY mail......WTF!? She got pissy and started throwin shit around getting uppity because she hadn't yet gotten to printing out the tags for the boxes when I got there. NOT MY FUCKING PROBLEM LADY!!! Then got a tude with me! If there were ANY other convenient place to get our mail, we would. She nearly tossed my packages at me and told me she refused to print out the signature slips and to be hopeful all my stuff was there. She ALWAYS has a tude, I have had missing packages and I have asked her THREE separate times if I should not come 'so early' (11am) to get my mail. She needs a new job. Very friendly staff and a nice array of services (including notary service, which is why I visited). They have a small section of the store devoted to the OSU Beavers and that snot-colored school to the south. There was a lot of random stuff inside the store... it reminded me of a cross between Hallmark and the christmas tree store. I've shipped over a dozen times here, small packages to family and friends that don't need anything more than delivery confirmation. A lot of random goods, some tasty treats, and coffee! I always look around a bit, sometimes there's a good deal on seasonal goodies that can adorn my house. Always been helped when I come in and given good service. Only bad side is sometimes I ask for delivery confirmation and notice when I get home there is nothing on the ticket, so always make sure it's there before you walk out. read more

Good place to for shipping items out locally if one is not willing to drive to the post office. Always have shipping supplies that are needed. The staff is friendly and professional. There is a 10% premium on purchasing stamps so it's more cost effective to purchase stamps at Costco or at the US Post Office than here, but if only couple of stamps are need to mail something the 10% premium isn't too bad. Basically the same price one would pay when purchasing stamps from the bank. Over all this place is good for shipping out the occasional item. On a positive note they also have a coffee shop inside. While this business is super convenient for me (right across the street from my place of residence) I'd rather drive into Hillsboro and use that post office unless I absolutely can't. I've used Postal Works twice now and was not impressed. The first time the staff was to busy flirting with a gentleman who had come in to be bothered to help me. After standing at the counter for a while someone finally came to help me and they seemed very inexperienced. The second time I used them all the staff was either MIA or behind the wall in the coffee shop section, so again I had a long wait. The shop itself can't seem to decide if it's a coffee shop, a tacky gift shop, or a postal shop. I'll use it in a pinch but I'd really rather not. read more

The store is cute - lots of sweet gifts for giving. But when I needed USPS boxes and I asked how much to ship a flat-rate, I found out they charge $5 MORE for flat rate shipping. Small box with USPS $8...with this store, $13+. This is simply NOT ok AT ALL. I will chose to ship at a regular post office. I try to avoid the main branches of the US Post Offices whenever possible. The lines are crazy, the workers aren't always super friendly or helpful (not that I blame them), and the locations aren't very convenient to access from where I live. That being said, when it was time for me to go track down those cute little holiday stamps for my Christmas cards, I was not excited to make the trek to the post office. So I called in here to see if they had any options. The gal picked up the phone right away (I didn't sit on hold for hours!), and I had the answer I needed quickly and painlessly. So off I go to Postal Works. Walking into the store, I felt like I had been transported into a little boutique shop. Lots of greeting cards, gorgeous trinkets, etc... then I saw the front counter and the packing/shipping supplies. Oh, and no line! When I was greeted and asked how I could be helped, I said I was there for postage stamps. "Christmas ones, right?" she asked cheerily. She must have recognized my voice from the phone. She pays attention to detail! She gave me a pamphlet showing me all of my choices, and was carrying a friendly conversation with me while I chose which stamps I liked best. My whole visit was successful, and took less than five minutes. And get this: I left with a smile on my face! Thank you, kind lady at Postal Works for making my day and being 100x's more friendly to me than my typical post office experiences are! :) read more

There will be no reason to go the the post office anymore, after you come here. They treat their customers the way every business should. Postal works is fast, easy, and costs the same as the post office but it's bright, and the workers are friendly and treat you with the best service! They will help you pick packaging, and they can even pack up your shipment for you. Not to mention there is a wonderful selection of last minute cards, gifts, chocolates and candies, and I think they also offer espresso. I want to give a shout out to Becky for her excellent service. When I walked in, she greeted me with a smile and asked how my day was going. She noticed I was sending in a passport application and new exactly where it needed to go and what I needed to include. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and engaged in doing the job right. They do it all here: passport photos, key replications, and they even have a notary.
