Horrible customer service, basically they forgot about us when it came ordering a part we needed for our hot tub, no communication from them as to when the part would be in. It's been almost 2 months now w problem still not resolved. So frustrating!! read more

we have been buying our pool supplies from the store for years and in 2021 we noticed that our pool liner needed replacing and spoke to them. We picked out our pattern and got dimensions. We met with Lacey and she walked my husband and myself through the process. Liner installation was 5/2021 and a couple weeks later our pool was losing water, called Lacey and they came out to check and sh informed us that they "actually should not have put the liner in because the stairs needed replaced " we asked why we were not told? she shrugged and said it was mirages deal. And less than a year later the liner started fading and we have had to call Lacey's diver to come several times and reseal areas around the pool stairs, even this past summer. But! I can honestly say that the complete and utter lack of remorse on their end is ridiculous! Due to numerous water leaks (due to stair area issues that the installation staff was aware of but didn't inform us of and yet though there were problems that they knew of but still installed and charged several thousand) our water bills in the summer time are huge due to the water leaking but our grandchildren love to swim. No apologies, no remorse WHATSOEVER NOTHING! We had the company blaming THEIR SUB CONTRACTOR (the people Mirage hired to do pool liners) and the sub contractor basically blowing us off when we explained the huge water bill we have since our "new liner" was installed..Nothing, zero and the pool liner fading? :"wow, that is so weird (pause) I don't know ". we are using the same chemicals we always have and our old pool liner didn't fade like this one did after only 1 year? Getting a new liner but no way this place will come near it! We probably could have just done it 2 years ago and broke even on the $$$$ we have spent on our water bill! Horrible customer service, epically worse work, job was executed with ZERO professional ethics (if you knew the stairs should have been replaced, you SPEAK WITH YOUR CUSTOMER period! you do not install something you know will fail and FYI : water is not free according to our water bill). And they failed to install the liner locks! And my husband has to continually push it back in! I don't understand why they are still in business?? read more

Bought a spa here and all went well until the start up visit, one week after installation. Lance the tech identified that the pillows weren't work properly and said he would order replacements and take of it. A month later and 3 calls where we were told they would get back to us with an update, which never happened. We are disappointed in Mirage and their lack integrity. read more

I called and had no less than a dozen quotes for my pool liner. Mirage was in the middle as far as pricing although they were absolutely prompt with their quote and proper measurements. I will be honest and mention that I first went with American pool and spa because they were cheaper although they no-showed twice and I simply cancelled due to the disrespect shown with the no show and they did not even call. I then went with Island pool and spa and they quoted be much less even when I gave them the proper measurements of the pool. Then Inland called a week later and changed their quote to more than Mirage. So none-the-less, I went with Mirage because I already felt lied to and disrespected again. Mirage pool and spa ACTUALLY said what they did and showed up on time which is more than I can say about several other pool companies locally. They quoted me 5 weeks to get the job done and finished the job in 3 weeks. I was pleasantly surprised and appreciate the professionalism. I have a custom pool so the liner was not just a cookie cutter size. The pool liner looks amazing. I would absolutely recommend MIRAGE pool and spa if you want your liner done right and promptly with quality communication along the way. This process told me a lot about their core values and work ethics. I wish other companies would follow suit. read more

Super disappointing experience. Waited almost a month for a cover measurement, got a ten minute notification that they would arrive. Were then told that the quote we received wasn't valid, cover would be at least $700 more. Wasted weeks with these guys. read more

Feel ripped off! I bought some parts for my filter system yesterday. They cost me $135.59. I went to put them into the filter and they did not fit. I brought them back today to get the right parts. The repair would be pretty big so I asked for a refund of the parts I bought yesterday. I was told that there was some lube on the parts, and they could not be returned. Andres the clerk/manager was pretty happy about it. I'll never go there for anything or recommend anybody do business there either. I just left the parts because I can't use them for anything I have. I purchased my Sundance Spa from Mirage in 2004 and have had 15 years of great experience. It has required some service, but probably less than would be typical over that period of time. The Mirage service people have done an outstanding and professional job. Highly recommend. Update: my spa finally got to where it needed to be replaced. Tiffany at Mirage did a great job of making sure I got the right product, and Don provided excellent service. The spa had a tiny and hard-to-locate leak after installation (not by Mirage), but Don hung in there until the problem was solved. Continue to recommend with enthusiasm. One cool service is they do a FREE water test. Just bring in a sample of your pool water and they will tell you if you need to adjust your chemicals or salt. read more

I had a pool liner installed by this company. They failed to re install the liner lock so the liner comes out of the track on a weekly basis. I have called and emailed asking them to rectify the issue. They send someone out to put the liner back in place but are now telling me that a liner lock might help but it wasn't included in their installation. Since I paid several thousand dollars to them you would think they would make sure the installation was done correctly. Not so with this company. Would not recommend. Also not good about returning calls or emails. read more

We have never had a pool before and so when The employees of Mirage Pool n Spa came out to open our pool we wanted to learn as much as we could about maintaining our in-ground pool. They cleaned the pool, put chemicals in to get it ready for use and showed us how to backwash the pool filter. They were so helpful and made sure we wrote notes about what to do to maintain the pool. There was a miscommunication about the mineral system we wanted to have installed so they came out again for free to install the system. I purchased the system at their store for $150 and had it there when they came. And we did have a leak in our pumping system that took them a couple of times to figure out what it was but the fix was done quickly and at a reasonable cost ($110). We have been very pleased with their service and will use them again. read more

I am sooo glad I found this place after years of getting ripped off by their competitor down the street. They really care about customer service here and they truly know what they are doing. They don't try to sell you anything unnecessary, just the products that you need, which is a refreshing change after years of Leisure pools misdiagnosing my issues (I suspect on purpose) and leaving me with an empty wallet. read more

Bought a Dimension One Swim Spa from Mirage Pools in 2015. Needed new filters, called them and were told we needed the Dimension One brand which they had in stock and would set aside for us with our name on them. We drove a 90 mile round trip to be told they did not have anything set aside for us, and then tried to sell us the generic brand of filter; but ultimately turned us away because the 2 young employees there were unsure of which ones would fit our swim spa. We waited 2 hours in town while they called other employees to find out about our filters, and said they were sorry, but did not know what to do, and didn't want to sell us the wrong ones. The next day I called Dimension One in CA and were told we did indeed need the Dimension One Filters; were given the exact order numbers; Easy Spa Parts in Oceanside, CA was very knowledgeable and mailed the proper filters to us in 2 days. Highly recommend Easy Spa Parts for all supplies and info. They have a great website and are very helpful by phone. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service ever. Mirage was suppose to come out and do a "final sweep" because we hadn't filled our pool during the initial opening. I asked that I be notified before they come out for the final sweep anticipating I would end up cleaning and sweeping prior to them coming back out. Sure enough I swept it cleaned it out before they came back. My wife gets home and noticed a bill for a "final sweep" and a note stating that they found a hole in the liner. We were never notified that they would be coming back. I called mirage and spoke to Chad (I hope he isn't the owner because the way he treated me is unimaginable that someone would treat their customers this way). I explained to Chad that I was supposed to be notified before they came back for a final sweep and I wasn't. I explained that I had already done the sweeping and cleaning. Chad became agitated and said fine I won't charge you for the final sweep. I came home and looked for the hole in the liner he had described but was not able to find it. The next evening when I came home I noticed a significant drop in the water level. After searching I found the hole. Today I called and spoke to Chad and explained that we never had a water loss problem until they reported finding a hole he became extremely agitated and said we didn't do that. I told him I'm not saying you did I'm explaining that we never had that issue prior to their arrival I then told him that it looked like the pool was never even swept he said no it wasn't swept when my guy found the hole I told him to come back to the shop. I said then why was I being charged for a final sweep? I asked Chad if mirage was going to repair it. Chad said no. It is unbelievable to me that they would treat customers like this and that they would boldly lie this way. I would strongly urge people to not do business with mirage. read more

I had a pool liner installed by this company. I told them exactly what my expectations were, which was simple, to keep the pool floor nice and smooth. First they ordered the wrong liner so I had to wait an extra month to have the liner installed. I started the process in January and put half the cost up front. When they did install the pool liner, they didn't take the time to clean up and left a couple of rocks that they tracked in from my drive way under the liner. When I called them about the rocks, they said it would be fine. After a week of it being installed, I was losing water, they had to send someone out three times to fix all the leaks. Apparently they forgot to seal the stairs. The water leaked under the liner and destroyed the poolcrete making the pool floor very uneven. They also wanted to charge me $500 extra for fixing the leaks. It took months of working with them just to get them to come out and do the right thing. This company will scam you if they get the chance. Stay far away them. read more
