The builders built my shed at an angle to the property line and every surrounding structure and didn't bother to tell me that they supposedly had an issue that required not following my instructions on where to build it. I had brought up a possible issue well in advance to the build and was assured it would not be a problem. I was arms-length from the builders and they could have simply spoken with me and come up with a solution, but they are too focused on getting out as fast as possible and seem dead set on not communicating with me as the customer. Both times the finishing touches were very lacking - plan on having to recaulk anything they caulk and rework any door hardware. They installed the man-door at a bad angle, so it won't stay open, which is very annoying for a storage situation, and the barn doors barely open - I have to rework it when I have time. Overall they just want to be in and out and don't want to fuss with any details. If that works for you, it's decent, but plan on being VERY flexible on the final product - they just don't care.

We'd hit up a bigger mattress store earlier in the day and dealt with their obnoxious high pressure sales pitch and their really limited options in the under $300 range. After dealing with that, I was ready to go home and just zip into Portland to go to IKEA and get a mattress, but we stopped in at Mister Mattress as one last ditch effort to get a mattress before Thanksgiving. Low pressure sales tactics and lower prices awaited us! I told him how much we wanted to spend, he asked if we needed a box spring, pointed out which ones were in our range, and let us know which ones he had in stock. He offered to get it delivered, but ultimately just helped us strap it to the roof of the car. He was friendly and polite, not pushing us to spend more or attempting to guilt us into buying a more expensive mattress.
