I am usually never a person to leave a negative review- but this is the WORST salon to go to. I've given them multiple chances - all bad experiences- but my last visit was the WORST. I went just wanting a trim with long layers (you can see how long my hair was in the picture below). The hairstylist and I agreed on taking off an INCH, which she showed me the length with her fingers, and I thought to myself- wow that's not even a lot off! As she was cutting my hair though- I noticed that my hair was near my SHOULDERS! I even said something and looked scared and the hairdresser just told me "oh it looks short but when you stand up it will be long. (SPOILER: she had no idea what she was doing and cut off 5 inches of my beautiful long hair). Then I paid extra for a blowout, and once again, the hairdresser had NO IDEA what she was doing. I have naturally curly hair, so it takes more effort to blow out my hair straight. However, she wasn't even using the correct tools at ALL. She was using a regular square brush, and a regular blow dryer (with no attachments on it). So basically there was no tension at all, and my hair was SO frizzy. I was sitting there for NO JOKE 2 hours, almost falling asleep in my chair, as her method of "blowout" clearly isn't good. When she was done, my hair was still WET underneath, and looked like absolute SHIT (pic below). I was so shocked at my hair. The owner Lisa walked by and said "oh it looks so good!" , which as the owner, she should have seen what a hot mess it was and tried to fix it. Needless to say, I still had to pay for the cut and "blowout" (even though I didn't even get a real blowout)! The last picture is my TODAY. I was getting a Brazilian blowout at another salon, and my hairdresser there looks at my hair and laughs and says "who cut your hair?" And I told them "mirragio" and she said "it looks like shit! Let me take a picture for you" and took the picture below. I was HORRIFIED. It is so jagged and uneven and I am so embarrassed to be walking around like this! Overall, do NOT go here! This salon is empty for a reason they have NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!!!! SAVE YOURSELF! (The only one who knows what she is doing is the nice lady who washes hair!!). read more

I went to the salon owner, Lisa recently for a cut and color. I had shoulder length hair that was carefully dyed lighter over many months by a great stylist (who sadly I was unable to go to). During my appt I had asked to cover my gray roots and pull some of the blonde up to match what had grown. My hair was foiled and my roots had dye on them at the same time. I was put under a heater. My foils were checked, more bleach applied and heat was applied. It was so hot I took a break to go to the bathroom. It was at that time I saw how dark my roots were and knew something was wrong. Once my hair was rinsed and I saw it wet from the chair I began to see how bleach damaged my hair was. Also the color was so dark and parts of the blonde had pink hues. I asked if I should have it deep conditioned and Lisa said no because she "didn't want my hair to be too soft." As she began to cut, she was taking off way more hair than we discussed. I didn't realize at the time it was because it was so badly damaged and she knew it. After she dried it she kept loading my roots with oil. Once I got home I noticed a huge chunk of hair on my part in the middle of my head was gone- about an inch long. Then I found multiple other spots. After a few days my hair would just snap mid shaft in places. Aside from the fact the color was atrocious and she had ruined years of time and money for proper care in just two hours, my hair was falling out. Yes, I let her know, but she didn't seem to see it an issue and offered to deep condition it. It is obvious why I would not allow her to attempt to "correct" the color. More than anything, as a business owner I had hoped for a refund and at minimum an apology. Girls- we all know how you feel about your hair. I pay good money for professionals, products, and tools to keep my hair healthy. Imagine waking up in the morning to see the hair from your head snapped off and on your pillow, shirt, sink, etc. It's not shedding, it just breaks. I have several sections of hair that are 1.5 inches long- and damaged. And there's nothing but time that fixes that. I didn't want to cut my hair so short (even though I don't mind shorter hair), but I'm left with no choice. I didn't make a rush decision, use a coupon, or anything else. I had no idea what that appointment would actually cost me. I only offer my experience so you can make an educated decision. read more

I made an appointment 3 days ahead of time and was good to go so i thought. Appointment time, I was there and they were slow. Only 1 other customer and 2 employees. Has the one employee was finishing the customer, the other employee got me set up. I was just getting a touch up, trim, blow out nothing fancy. I as told them when i made the appointment n then again on that day. Well, i was told they couldnt trim, or blow dry my hair that they were too busy. I wasn't happy. The one lady told me i could use the hair dryer to dry my hair n flat iron if i wanted to. As i was doing that cause it was a little cold outside. A lady walked in NO APPOINTMENT, and they dod her hair. NOONE ELSE walked in the door. I was pissed n yes i did tip the hair dresser who did my hair n the shampoo girl. My boyfriend wasn't happy cause I was upset. He said go back again, give them another try in a few months. I did go back n again not happy. So i haven't or plan or going back. This is a GREAT salon. I drive all the way from Queens so Lisa can cut and color my hair. She does a WONDERFUL job. And I love listening to the easy banter that goes on between Lisa and the girls that work there. It's a beautiful, spotless salon. But I don't go there because of the beauty, I go because I love how Lisa does my hair. People have complemented me on the color and always ask "who does your hair" Some, like me, are willing to take the one hour drive to get a great hair cut and color. read more

Been going here for ten years. I absolutely love it here. The salon is so clean and so nice. I'm really surprised at the review for bad highlights because I STILL to this day get compliments on my highlights from people. Michelle does them just amazing and she is known for it.
