Ok, my 2 week new student special is up for the most part and I was able to take 3 classes and want…read moreto upgrade this place to 4 stars. This is a no frills studio and last night when I was lying in savasana, I noticed the water stains on the ceiling but to be honest, I should have kept my eyes closed in savasana. So what this place lacks in ambiance, it makes up for in good instruction and a place to really focus on your practice. The three times I came here I really liked the instruction by two different instructors. I heard things that I was ready to receive. Again, will say that this place is for those that are serious about their yoga. The men's and womens area are really small. There is a bathroom, no shower. Come here to truly practice and deepen your relationship with yourself. You will discover something at the end of class that you didnt know about yourself earlier. I will be back.

I recently started attending Anda Yoga House as a newcomer to the studio, and unfortunately, my…read moreexperience with the instructor Mira Portents has been consistently disappointing across three separate classes. From the very beginning, Mira was unapproachable and dismissive. When I asked clarifying questions--as any beginner might--she didn't answer them with patience or clarity. Instead, she brushed them off by saying I "live in my head" and should simply "keep going." This pattern repeated in each class. During my most recent session, I asked her a very specific question about the breathing technique we were doing at the start of the class. She had spoken so quickly during the instructions that I couldn't follow. I wanted to understand whether we were supposed to breathe through the throat or not--because the technique feels completely different depending on that. I also explained that if I'm not using my throat, I don't understand how to increase the inhale properly, which made the entire exercise ineffective for me. Her response was, once again, vague and dismissive: "I gave instructions. Just listen better and come again." Importantly, Mira Portents was aware from day one that I came to yoga after physical trauma, with chronic pain and a sense of disconnection from my body. I told her that I need to rebuild a healthy movement pattern from the ground up. Instead of showing empathy or offering adjustments, she continued to repeat the same phrase--"Don't live in your head"--without actually helping me build the bodily awareness that I explicitly said I lacked. I was especially shocked that someone who claims over 10 years of experience in yoga hasn't developed the basic qualities of kindness, patience, or sensitivity to others' needs--especially when dealing with new students or those recovering from trauma. If you're new to the studio or looking for an instructor who will support your growth with compassion, I strongly recommend choosing a different teacher.

They have two spots one for beginners and one for intermediate players. I went to the beginners one and it was pretty nice. It costs 14$ and you can play for as long as you want. Flower Cock is provided for free to use but you have to bring raquets. If you don't have them they are available to rent also. If you come here for the first time you're gonna have to register and sign some waiver. You have to reserve a court and reservation lasts 30 mins, then you can reserve for next available time. I went on Saturday noon and it wasn't too busy and I am glad it wasn't smelly cause the last badminton place I went to was MUSTYYY. There's tons of parking and even a plaza nearby with lots of food options for post badminton grub!!

They were attentive and supported them at all their ability levels. The space is spacious and there are multiple courts! There is no AC or heater. So if you come, please bring a jacket just in case you get cold. I went on a January Saturday morning. But I hear that during the summer it gets very stuffy and hot. So make sure you bring a cooler with ice water and/or ice packs!

I trained here for a little over a year before covid and was yelled at in front of the entire gym, told to leave and not come back, for laughing with my teammate during warmup. I was used to make an example of, so all the kids in the class would pay attention. Even if I wasn't paying attention, I was a paying customer and should've been punished with sprints or a strenuous workout to teach me to pay attention, not screamed at and belittled in front of 30+ people and told to not come back when my team worked out there every week. Coaches have all the power to help a kid stay motivated and pursue their passion, this event crushed all my motivation to continue and this is why this I'm leaving this review. If you do choose to attend this facility, choose any trainer besides Doug, all the other trainers are amazing and just as talented as him, if not more so. there's no reason for this kind of behavior and even if he saw me as a problem, instead of trying to fix it he instead chose to throw me out like i was Tuesdays trash. I've sat on this review for a little over two years now hoping I'd understand why he did what he did, but unfortunately i can't seem to think of any logical explanation to why kicking me out and yelling at me was the best form of action by him. He crushed a kids dreams that day, something that I'd hoped no one would would ever try to do.

An older customer directed racist language and derogatory comments toward another member, and the situation escalated quickly. At one point, I felt that the older man's behavior became threatening, by saying what he would do to the black guy after he responded to him for speaking down to him. When the black guy said your mama, after being called a slur, I was sure things were way past fixing. The interaction felt hostile rather than respectful or appropriate for a gym environment. When the other member stood up and responded, the older man left to speak with management. From what I observed, it appeared management may have taken the older man's side without fully understanding what was happening. I've also seen this same customer act rudely toward others in the past, particularly around personal space and how he interacts with members waiting for or using equipment. I'm reporting this because threats and racist conduct have no place in a fitness facility. I have experienced it also but I hope management takes complaints seriously, investigates thoroughly, and ensures members feel safe.
