Miramar regional park is a fairly large park that has soccer fields, baseball fields and a pool. For the most part, it's built for objective use. As such, it has very little shaded areas aside from the covered shelters, playgrounds & amphitheater. I come here couple times a week for the boys soccer events and practice. The lawns are usually well kept and even. It's great for many types of workouts, walks, etc. It's a great spot to catch a sunset on a clear day as well. The bathroom facilities were ok, sparsely located for this sized park. read more

Beautiful park in Miramar with so much to do and frequent events hosted here! There is ample parking, and admission is free, even on weekends. The park features multiple large open fields, playgrounds, and baseball fields. There are also bathrooms conveniently located throughout. We visited for the Miramar Kite Festival, which was such a fun experience. The city did a fantastic job organizing the event. There were multiple food trucks, a DJ, and a variety of tent vendors, including the city, fire rescue, PDQ, and other local businesses. One of the highlights was that the city gave out free kites to all guests. The turnout was great, and the atmosphere was lively. One large field was dedicated to kite flying, while a baseball outfield was set up as a kids' zone with several bounce houses for different age groups. We brought a picnic setup and beach chairs and truly enjoyed spending the day here. Overall, it was a wonderful event, and this park is a great place to visit! read more

Miramar Regional Park is located one mile west of I-75 on Miramar Pkwy. This sprawling 173 acre park was over ten years in the making before it finally opened in 2006 giving west Miramar the recreational facility they had long been waiting for. This is truly a park with something for everyone. If you are in need of a place to relax, exercise, or host an event, this park has you covered. Sports enthusiasts have use of 2 baseball fields, 2 basketball courts, 2 cricket fields, 6 soccer/football fields, and volleyball court. There is also a fitness station for exercise, skate park, 2 playgrounds, 4 rental pavilions with grills, a corporate pavilion, and an amphitheater. The aquatics complex has a main pool and water playground and splash pad. They even remembered the pups with one of the nicest dog parks I have seen in awhile. At the entrance of the park i s a beautiful 9/11 and Veterans Memorial that pays tribute to the victims and first responders of the September 11 attacks. It features two actual beams of steel from the World Trade Center. Throughout the park winds wetlands that are both scenic and attract wildlife. Admission to the park is $1.50 on holidays and weekends. Admission to the aquatics complex is $3.50 for adults and $2.50 for children. Non residents of Miramar are $1 more. The park is open daily from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM but closes 8:00 PM on Sundays. I decided to visit this park before spending time at the kite festival. The park is large and it has many many amenities for everyone. The park is located one mile west of I-75 on Miramar Parkway. The park is 173 acres big, so there's a lot of open spaces for walking, jogging, picnicking, playing sports, etc. If you are into sports and fitness, you can enjoy their Fitness Station, 2 Baseball Fields, 2 Basketball Courts, 2 Cricket Fields, 6 Soccer / Football Fields, and a Volleyball Court. Besides that there are 2 Playgrounds, 4 Pavilions w/ BBQ Pits, 1 Corporate Pavilion, an Amphitheater, a large Aquatics Complex and a Dog Park. As I drove away, the line to get into the Aquatics complex was out to the entrance...many parents looking to take their children to this cool, wet fun zone. read more

I have been here many times and have had a good time each time . The now vice mayor of Miramar Yvette colborn (she was the commissioner of this city until this year ) always does the Latin music festival in September or October (mainly September) to celebrate Hispanic heritage month. She brings out well known artists to perform for the community and you only pay for the parking $10. I've gone each year so far and they've been different artists of course and super fun . Last years was the best so far . I also saw a reggaeton artist myke towers here back in November of 2021 . That one was fun too and I loved seeing him . I also love seeing those known artists too each year . read more

The parks hours are listed in their website and they are no where near to closing. It was about 5:30 when I arrived at the entry gate to take my dog to the dog park. I was told that I was being denied entry because they are having an event, further that anyone in the dog park would be allowed to stay. I felt a sense of discrimination being that I asked them to confirm if I heard correctly and repeated, so I am not allowed to go in but the rest of the people can stay until 7:30 and it's 5:30 right now? The older man's reply was, yep, they can stay and my job is only at the gate. I felt it was a bit heartless and inconsiderate being that my son and my dog were obviously excited and wanting to go, and that it was still early enough to which they could have gently told me not to stay long or perhaps a warning. I take my dog almost everyday, being that schools back in session tomorrow I was really hoping for some quality time with them and also to exercise my dog since he will be crated tomorrow. There was absolutely no empathy and they in fact laughed at me when I asked if they were really letting other people stay. I will be filing a formal complaint tomorrow as the park office is closed. Overall it's a nice dog park so I do not want to give an overall low rating for the park, that is why I put 4 stars. I consider myself a fair and just person. That is why I wrote the review, because being treated as I was is complete in acceptable. read more

This is a very nice park with two playgrounds for children, a splash pad, and a water park. The splash pad and water park is part of the aquatic center and requires a an admission fee to enter. They also hold swimming lessons both group and private in the aquatic center. The park has a lot of grass areas that are reserved for field events and are unfortunately not for public use. There is a dog park area where you can bring your dog to however, the pet is not allowed anywhere else in the park. The park is a nice park however it has many restrictions. There is also an amphitheater where they host some music and cultural events. This can be a bit of a nuisance to neighboring homes as we can hear the sounds in our backyard and inside our home. They do host a lot of events on this park especially around the the holidays. read more

This review is strictly for Bounce House America! Holy bounce house America!!!! My niece and nephew celebrated their birthday party here and it was on and jumping. See what I did there. When they say this is the biggest bounce house playground in the world (so far) believe them! We came in through the main entrance and followed the signs for the big bounce. Each car is $10 for entry. Once parked inside we set up under one of the covered spaces with 3 tents and our own chairs. I highly recommend you do this for your party as this secures your own shaded spot. We set up snacks and refreshments for all the kids and parents which is allowed so bring your own coolers and snacks. There were several food trucks there from gyros, burgers, pizza, snowcones, fries, etc so you can opt.to purchase instead of bring. The park itself is huge and looks like a fun space for tons of outdoor activities so I must come back to check it out alone. But this event I highly recommend everytime it comes around to come check it out. It is truly a fun activity for all and for those who dont purchase tickets can still hang out and enjoy the scenery under one of the shaded sitting areas provided. To participate in the event socks must be worn but they do provide cubbys for your shoes or leave them by where you sit (that's what we did). There are bounce activities everywhere but for the main even you have a specified time slot. Once inside there's a live dj playing awesome music, playing fun games, bubbles, a little foam. and beach balls everywhere. There are slides, rock walls, etc There really is so much going on everywhere! To keep track of all the kids we asked the parents to wear neon shirts and we did the same so kids can always find us. Trust me, you'll want to do this because when they open the kids run in every direction. Listen at my age I didn't think I would be jumping but let me tell you I had the best time, laughing,falling etc. It is so much fun and I'm coming back everytime they come into town. Just some pointers: the earlier you get here the better for parking and posting up spots. Buy your tickets online to get the time slot you want and to bear the lines. Sometimes tickets get sold out quick so just do everything in advance and sunscreen and water are your best friends! read more

A public park in Miramar! Also home of the Miramar Amphitheater. As a Miramar local, this is my go-to park. I've had many memories of birthday parties and BBQ's and now it is my almost daily place for an evening run. This park contains a walkway that acts as a track around the main fields where many teams practice football and soccer. There are also pavilions surrounding the perimeter which can be rented out for parties of any kind. There are nature preserves in the form of fossils, trees, and even owl habitats. If you want to take a stroll or run, there's a mini track surrounding the fields (as mentioned before) or you can take a longer route around the whole park. This brings you around to the amphitheater and the parking lot for it. One round of this is equal to a mile where as a round around the smaller track is only about .4 of a mile. I like the longer route just because its a bit more scenic and it takes less rounds for more mileage. This park isn't like most where there are activities to participate in and scenic places to take pictures but it is my absolute favorite to just take a walk or meet up for a picnic. If you would like to use any of their fields, I believe you have to reserve them. They also have a public basketball court which, of course, doesn't need to be rented out. Keep in mind that this park is free and open to the public but does charge an entrance fee on weekends and holidays! If you're in the Miramar/Pines area, I recommend paying this place a visit. read more

Jose "Alex" Scott skatepark The skatepark is past the Aquatic Center keep going straight down and the skatepark is next to the basketball courts. I was there on opening day and these photos attached are showing 4 months after it has been opened.pictures were taken: August 30, 2022 It's clean, like there's no trash everywhere and there's no graffiti except for on the trash can. There are no signs saying anything is required to use, it's not supervised and also there's no fee to enter the park- from the 2 times I've been there I haven't had to pay a fee. Here are details from the article: The skatepark is 5,000 square feet and can accommodate up to 30 rollerbladers, skateboarders or scooters in the space simultaneously. It will open 7 days a week during regular park hours of 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., except Sundays when the park is open 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Structural design features include small transition ball pocket, small transition quarter pipes and hips, banks, banked hip, bank to ledge, metal handrail, downledge and more. This is a great park, They apparently have lots of events happening year round. Right now they have the giant inflatables going - an event suited for the whole family- just divided into ages for safety reasons. I just rented a pavilion here for my kids birthday party coming up. However and unfortunately I have to say I wasn't very happy with my first time rental experience. To begin with, the first time I showed up at the office. They were out of Internet and phones, so the lady there told me she wasn't going to be able to do anything that day and explained why, just in such a uhhhggg way. Like she was not having a good day so I figured maybe it's just one of those days and left. I came back another day, this time I called ahead to make sure. And again she just clearly isn't content with her job and let's you know that's the case. Now I understand how she feels because I have been in her shoes before. But I wouldn't let customers know how I feel. I would make them feel welcomed and make their experience confortable and or enjoyable. Then she asked for all my documents ahead of time and charged me more than I was expecting to pay without any explanations... I then went on to their website to make sure I wasn't crazy and came back to see what was that charge about and then she explained it was because I was a Dade County resident so had to pay more ! But now it was too late because I had already signed their contract and payed in full. So if I tried to make any changes they would proceed to keep your deposit . I also didn't know their #1 pavilion even existed and just assumed it was on if the other ones. But once I saw it I wasn't too happy about my whole renta experience plus the actual pavilion I ended up paying for not without I guess proper research. It is my first time doing this so I hope and will see this as a learning experience from the many more time I would for sure be doing this. I am a first time mom ‍ I had to vent, because I can't do much at this point. Don't want to loose my deposit , but I can tell you next time. It would for sure be another park . And this may be the very last time I use this one for pavilions that is. The park itself it's nice for event and or hang out with your kids etc read more

It's a very nice park. My problem is with management! The chaos that happens before you enter the park! There are long lines, once you get in the front there is a sign that one lane is cash only, you are forced to try to change lane, and no one wants to let you through! Why not accept credit on both lanes or put a sign out back so that you know which lane to take! read more

Miramar is one of the few cities in South Florida that have Cricket grounds in the city park. Our Cricket league has two grounds in the Miramar regional Park. Over the last few years the grounds have taken a beating as they play cricket on Saturday and Sunday and on weekdays they play soccer on the same ground. Just recently they have redone the grounds and put fresh grass and leveled the fields. Along with the Cricket and soccer fields the Miramar regional park has barbecue avenues and a small water park for the county residents. Admission is $1.50 over the weekend per person and I think it is free on weekdays but I have to check as I usually only go there on Sunday. read more

I came here for the universoul circus earlier this year which was housed under a tent. Upon entering the park was nice and clean. There was no attendant at the front gate. I was a little skeptical about going through because I didn't want any issues as it had signage about paying an entrance fee. I got a little lost looking for the ticket booth to purchase the tickets. It wasn't readily visible to me. While driving around being lost, I saw that they had a water park. I didn't go to the water park but from what I saw it was a nice size. The park itself isn't that big. Other than the water park they have an amphitheater that they host quite a few events there. Concerts (small), events and things of that nature. I saw a few tables out so one would assume that they perhaps rent out pavilions for parties. Not a bad park but doesn't seem to offer much. I suppose to you have to live in the area to know about different park events and amphitheater events. read more

We go to Miramar Regional every year for the July 4th fireworks and festivities. It's so close to home and the convenience of driving only a few short minutes is awesome! This year was no different, we packed a cooler and headed out. They always have bounce houses, food trucks, live bands and lots of other fun BUT they made changes this year as far as the set up! Everything was so much more congested. They isolated everyone to a different section of the park (near the aquatic center) and there wasn't as many food options. Also, it always rains a lot this time of year which can be a bit messy because the grass accumulates lots of puddles. We still had a nice time but I hope they go back to the way it was. We didn't even get to lay our blanket out because if the congestion of people all isolated to one area. read more

When I first visited this park I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not. With my kids being mostly all teenagers the playground isn't exactly the first place they go running to because this particular playground seems to attract younger kids. One evening we decided to head to the park to play in one of the soccer fields. We had a great time kicking the ball around, running through the huge open field as we had it all to ourselves. It was well lit for that time of evening so we were able to spend a couple hours into the night. They also have a waterpark that I hear is one of the best in the area. I've never been, but plan on making it soon. It's a great place to host a birthday party for the kids, have family gatherings, and picnics for two. The lake surrounding the area has a beautiful view from the playground and picnic area that has a few tables and grill. And, if you're in the area check out their upcoming shows where many celebrities come out and perform at their new amphitheater. read more

"Review of Amphitheater" I'm a big fan of the band Skillet and have seen them perform in other music venues. Imagine my surprise when the band concert notification showed an upcoming event at the Miramar Regional Park Amphitheater. I had no clue there was a concert venue in Miramar. To begin, it was easy to find the Amphitheater; located right off of Miramar Parkway and not too far from the Turnpike. Even better, there was a huge sign on the road that reflected concert parking up ahead. As we approached, it was obvious the amphitheater was located through the main entrance of the park. This entrance felt similar to the Markham park entrance, on a smaller level. Another surprise, 20.00 dollar parking fee? Must admit, they were well organized, had plenty of parking attendants and did a fabulous job parking everyone in perfect order. Entrance to the amphitheater was typical of most concerts, with a bag and security wand "body" check. Upon entering the venue, there were a variety of food and drink trailers and tents. Wine and beer was also available. I thought the amphitheater was beautiful, stage, a generous size with great sound and comfortable assigned seats. My only complaint would be if you pick a seat at the end of the row, you have an angle/side view but in truth, doesn't feel like you are missing too much of the stage. I thought security did a good job without being overbearing. If you have a seat as opposed to the lawn area, it can be a bit confusing to find your row. The venue restroom was clean and located at the back, behind the lawn area. In summary, I thought this was a fun venue that felt intimate and yet, gave the full outdoor concert experience. Hope more rock bands return to this fun spot! read more

With respect to the things I enjoy doing at this park - fishing, basketball, and field sports - this park has a lot to offer. The bite is fairly consistent, and I always catch at least 1 bass (smallmouth or peacock) while I am there. I do see some decent-sized lunkers swimming around in the water from time to time, but they have thus far figured me out. Hopefully I will one day convince them that there is absolutely no connection between the colorful squiggly thing they see swimming around them and the four-limbed land dweller hovering over the water with a creepy smile. Who would have thought that fish could be such conspiracy theorists? The park's basketball courts are clean, well maintained, and often available. There are 4 rims, and you will almost always find one available for you to shoot around or to play your own game. It is not crowded like many other parks you will find. If you want to play a pick-up game with strangers, there are usually enough people to do that as well. Lastly, with respect to field sports, there is a good quantity of field space, especially if you bring your own game markers and equipment. Just like the basketball courts, the park is not overcrowded and you will often find plenty of space to use the field(s) as you deem necessary. read more

Not a very good park if you plan to bike! No bike lanes, no trails. Its just an aquatic complex, soccer fields and pavilions. If you're training and need a lap pool, I'm sure it's great. It also has a kiddie pool which seems to be quite nice for the little ones and the pavillions seemed quite large and spread out nicely so your guests have ample space to move about without running into the neighboring party-goers. Overall, it's a small park, serves it's purpose if you must do any of the above but not recommended if you intend to just go for a run or bike ride. read more

We LOVE the water playground at the aquatic center in Miramar Regional Park. It never seems to get too crowded, especially if you get there earlier in the day. We've been coming here for a couple of years now, including multiple birthday parties. My 4 year old has such a blast!! It is a perfect place to play for their age. The slides have a height restriction (must be under 50 inches), so the splash park ends up being a younger kid crowd which I like. You do have to pay to get in, but it is worth every penny, especially on those super hot days. read more

This park has a Great corporate pavilion. We rent it out yearly for our Association luncheon for about 200 guests. Lovely clean environment with bathrooms inside the corporate shelter. The park has many amenities such as 2 playgrounds for kids with swings, slides etc. It has a jogging track, soccer field, basket ball, a water park, an amphitheater & other small shelters for rent and fitness classes are also held in the pavilion. Overall I love this park to just relax at the end of the day, in one of the small shelters by the water and watch the kids play. read more

I fell in love with the park the moment I saw it. The entrance is gorgeous, the lake is beautiful and it's one of the only parks around that has pavilions and a playground close by but it also has swings. I was sold on this park for my daughter's first birthday. I ended up reserving pavilion #3 with a pretty unobstructed view of the lake. I planned for this birthday for 6 months. I spent way more money than I should have on a 1st birthday (things are expensive in South Florida and I have a BIG family) and my birthday party was pretty much a bust. The wind tunnel that is created in this pavilion, during a cold front, looked like a tornado. Even taping the table cloth down to the picnic tables would not keep them down (they would bubble with air), the beautiful balloon garland and cake backdrop I had planned for to be used with my elaborate cake/dessert table was a bust and had to be taped down to the storage closet at the entrance of the pavilion using duct tape and it still blew off several times damaging the cake. None of the decorations I handmade for the party could be used. None of the decorative balloons could be used. My cousin bought stones at the dollar store just so we could put out the vases on the table but we couldn't add the flowers because they would have blown over. I know you can't control Mother Nature but WOW, I can't be the only person this has happened to and based on a brief conversation I had with a park worker, Management at the park seems aware of this issue. The park needs to invest in wind blockers. Having known this issue in advance, I would have planned the party at this park differently. (for those that say I should have known, NO. All my parties are at parks and this is the first time I have this issue). Other things to consider, the line to get in is ridiculously long and the bathrooms were disgusting. My guests said they were absolutely nasty and overflowing. I'm sure this is due to the soccer tournament that was going on which also took all the parking spaces, even those blocked off for pavilion #3 (I was not made aware these were assigned to our pavilion until the party was over). read more

Why must this park be so far away from me?! I visited this park for someones sons 1st birthday party and they chose a great location as this park has ample space for running around and great activity sections such as a mini-water park! It's so neat! The park and its facilities are really clean. I've had so many bad experiences in parks where the feeling of peeing goes away as soon as you walk into the bathroom .Ew. On the weekends there is a $1.50 per person charge when coming in but it's so worth it! :) read more

We came here for a child's birthday party on Saturday afternoon when the temperature was 95 degrees - felt like 104 degrees. I've previously been to this park for another child birthday party but this was easily 5-6 years earlier. I have to say I was impressed with the park and the changes between then and now. The party was in the splash area of the aquatic center (which I don't recall existing before - I could be wrong). The center itself was divided into two parts - the large lap swimming pool and the splash area. The splash area had huge umbrellas with four picnic tables underneath each. It also had plenty of Adirondack chairs for people to lounge in. The splash area is perfect for kids and there were plenty of lifeguards around, not only making sure kids were safe, but also enforcing rules and preventing larger kids or "kid at heart" adults from using the slides. As a side note, there is a $1.50 charge per person to enter the park and another fee to use the aquatic center. I'm unsure of that fee because since we were part of a party, we didn't need to pay it. I wish we lived closer because it's perfect for younger children and my daughter loved it!! The area itself was not overly crowded either! It was an enjoyable experience for all! read more

So i had some time off during my maternity leave, so i decided to see what this park was all about. For starters, it has a ton of open field space for games, recreational activities, etc. I also love their playground areas for the kids. It's not packed on weekdays and there's no charge to get in, and it's also a healthy way to let my child burn off some energy. It's also very clean and well centered. read more

So grateful for this park. I take my daughter (9 months) here often. It's very clean and the sand is always full in park. Also a big plus is the shading over the park. My kids have played sports for this park for years. I have rented pavilions for parties at this park for numerous of times. I stopped by today to reserve another pavilion and the attitude received from the staff was totally unprofessional. I do realize I arrived 6 minutes before their close time and I get it everyone want to go home early on a Saturday. When I first arrived the gentleman holding the doors tells me I need to hurry up before the system shuts down in 5 minutes, once I make it inside the lady sitting at the front desk was super upset to see someone walk in. She started grabbing the stuff on her desk and throwing them hard from how upset she was. I felt so uncomfortable. I explained to her that my husband had gone by during the week to pay for the pavilion but their system was down. I asked her do you want me to come back on Monday? Her response was no. I would've of rather come back on Monday to pay for my pavilion than have to deal with the nasty attitude coming from this lady. I have never ever had any issues reserving a pavilion at this park. The staff is always great, even the ones that handle the sporting events for my kids sad to see that someone with such a bad attitude works for this park. People like her should not be dealing with anyone from the public. read more
