I had an appointment in which I thought I had to cancel. I proceeded to call and the staff was very kind, explaining to me their cancellation policies (which are understandable and fair) w/ friendly professionalism. As it turned out I did have time to drop by so I called back feeling silly and Sandy re-booked me for my previous time without hesitation. The salon is beautiful and the staff is beyond friendly. Sandy took my crazy (frizzy uneven) hair and cut it to fit my face perfectly. I got the exact bang cut that I wanted (which has always been difficult for other hairdressers for some reason, the result always stiff) and she also knew how to blow dry my hair despite it's ethnic qualities. Most people try to blow it out, fail, (cant get it to shape/ lack frizz)and resort to a flat iron which always irks me bc they then burn it till its dead flat. She then offered to doll me up a bit more by adding some loose curls which were super cute. I intend to copy this hair style when I go out from now on. I also feel its important to stress how she didn't assume she needed to overheat my hair w/ the dryer in order to style it. Another thing most hairdressers do. Megan's seriously talented with Mens cuts. I had the same hairstylist for 9 years, then she moved, I heard Megan actually specialized in Mens Hair & Facial Hair from a friend, I live in Orlando but I happen to surf in Satellite often and her location is close to my favorite surf spot so I figured let's do it. My dreds were pulling and itching, so she detangled them for me which she did with such finess, immediately my scalp felt better and still does. I grew some confidence and let her do my facial hair which she suggested & mentioned was her specialty. So I figured, go for it. after she was done, i was like WTF have I been doing to myself all these year?! I for the first time genuinely felt like my face was well shaped and groomed and the lines were so clean and even. Not only that, I got more compliments at work and from my friends than I've ever gotten before. I'm definitely coming back. the place is cool as hell too, really trendy and not stuck up but classy. ask for Megan she's the one with the kickass hair & sleeve tattoo of flowers and death before decaf on her arm. My hair was messed up from a previous salon and they left it orange. Then I tried myself to tone it because I didn't feel comfortable asking the person who messed it up to fix it. I couldn't fix it myself so I went to Mirth and saw Megan. You may wanna know...I almost cried after Megan did my hair! It was beautiful and exactly what I wanted!!! I left her a $50 tip when I can't even afford food right now because it was so well deserved and put me at peace after my hair was butchered! (Exaggerated a little on the starving thing) lol. But seriously, if you wanna get any color done, go to someone who knows what they are doing, someone who you can show a picture and it actually turns out like the picture. Way to go Megan!!! Best cut and color I have had in ages! Ryan was my stylist and he did not disappoint! I went in for a cut and color, needing to darken things up after a summer that got a little too blonde... I am one of those "take off as little as possible" people that has anxiety every time I go in for a trim, but he really did a great job of keeping my length while still cleaning up dead ends and livening up some layers. The color was perfect - seriously best colorist I have been to. We did a deep chocolate balayage that came out great and is perfect for the winter season. He finished up with a blow out and tossled beach curl, can't tell you how many compliments I got on my hair at the event I had later that day! Can't forget to mention the amazing head massage with the shampoo!! He also cut my niece's hair with a blow out and curl, she loved it too - I know for a fact from the volume of selfies she took right after ;-) Worth the price and more! read more

I have been upset with my hair for years. It seemed no one could understand what I was looking for. Having dark hair, bleach turns me orange. Bailey sat down and listened to my concerns/requests, she looked at my hair in depth. She was very sweet and yet direct on what I was looking for, wouldn't be what's best for my hair due to damage, previous color, etc. She was very knowledgeable and took time to go over possible options. The atmosphere reminds me of something you would find in a trendy upscale southern California salon. The owner Sandy is a genuine sweet heart and very talented! If you want something that seems difficult or the balayage hair painting kind of highlights you can trust she will do a superior job and pretty quick too which is hard to find both! Her cuts are amazing especially if you want to look something like out of pinterests best haircuts. Texture is everything right now but so are precision cuts and they can do both! Mirth Salon is quite the gem! I gladly travel an hour to have Seven make me gorgeous! She is talented, experienced, versatile and a true sweetheart. I never feel pressured or rushed at Mirth, the laid back vibe is so inviting and refreshing. I haven't personally been serviced by the other stylists. However, the other clients always look fantastic when they leave! Mirth curates only masters of their art form. They own the well honed skills required to execute classic technical cuts, but they also have the passion and well developed eye to create stunning, modern, chic styles. Megan cuts my hairs gooder than any other hair lady. She also gives me cookies and lets me sit on the couch which is good because normally people make me sit on the floor and I don't like to sit on the floor and their water is cold and I like their music because it's like the music that my mom has on her iPod shuffle that she lets me borrow sometimes when she's not using it and I like to listen to music and eat cookies and drink water and sit on the couch and not the floor.
