Luxury dog treat store? YES! I am in LOVE with this concept. The store front itself is beautiful as well as the decor. When you walk in, there are plenty of photo ops in the store as well as dog accessories you can purchase. Towards the back of the store are the refrigerators with the dog treats and cakes. All of them are beautifully crafted and vibrant! For the cakes, they have mini versions, treats as well as a large cake. They have all sorts of "flavors" aka different proteins to choose from to be inclusive of dog's preferences/allergies including beef, lamb, chicken. I may be forgetting another one. Our pup loves lamb and will gobble it up in less than 5 minutes. I found their Dog Cake Boutique through Instagram and they do not disappoint!! I messaged them through IG for a custom made order of a double heart cake to make something "Fall theme season." She came with the idea of leaves on top of the cake. The cake is beautifully made and it is very fresh!!! I'm truly thankful for Mishka to create something very meaningful. There are a few places to take photos with your pup and they even have a wall of their dog clientele. Super cute! They have a great assortment of different proteins for their cakes and treats. I've been wanting to go here for a long time! There was a Yelp Elite Event a couple of years ago, and that's how I found out about this place. I didn't RSVP to go because I don't have a dog, but I've always had this place in mind. I'm now dog sitting, so I knew this was the perfect opportunity to get a cake. I got a chicken cake shaped like a pineapple. It was gorgeous! It's so professionally done, and it looks tempting for humans to eat. The dog I'm sitting for has a bit of a sensitive tummy, so I gave him around a 1/4 of the cake. He devoured it! I know he loved it because he kept giving me kisses afterwards. Taotao's passport "birthday" was 2 weeks ago now and it sync's up with my birthday as well so after lunch together Mo and I stopped by to pick up some treats for Tao and her/our other furry friends! We got 3 cakes in total and it was so hard to choose which design/style because they are all GORGEOUS. I saw this bakery on Instagram and knew I had to have it for my dog's first birthday! I was looking for a dog birthday cake and saw a bunch online but I didn't like their ingredients. At Mishka the cakes are made with pate, which I felt was a much better choice for my dog than an actual cake. My dog loved it! I barely got the plate down before she inhaled one of the little treats. I was able to buy the cake and keep it in the refrigerator for a couple days before my dogs birthday. I served half in the morning and half at night. The cake held up great and stayed fresh in the refrigerator. The space is really cute. They have a fun area for photos with your dog. There is a lot of other dog items like clothing and accessories. In the case, there is a variety of cakes. You can get different sizes and colors and choose what kind of meat you want. There are some other dog treats as well besides the cakes. Mishka Dog Boutique is all the rage for birthday cakes for dogs. This place makes fancy, luxury dog treats and cakes that actually don't have any cake in them at all. These cakes have a meat pate inside a thin glaze made of vegetable juice that are in various of shapes (as you can see the photos on this Yelp page). You can choose the type of meat with the different options of treats and cakes (chicken, beef, turkey, lamb). Last month when I was visiting San Francisco with my husband and our little girl dog, we ended up getting a few of these beautiful treats and a small cake. A friend of ours actually was so kind to drive out to San Francisco to come meet us and had managed to stop by Mishka's before hand to pick up some treats for our little girl (she has a dog as well and he definitely gets Mishka's often). So our little girl ended getting: Chicken based, heart cake $15- This is a double heart cake that my little girl had consumed over a handful of days, mixed with her meals. She just went crazy for it every time I would say "Mishka cake" and would gobble every little bite down, especially the pieces that were thoroughly mixed with her dry dog food first. The presentation of this cake is just so beautiful and so colorful. Lamb meatballs- This came in a plastic jar (with a resealable plastic lid) with quite a bit of meatballs that was sitting in a liquid. There were also a few mini bone shaped carrots in it. My little girl really loved these mini meatballs. Chicken based, pumpkin candies, $17- These "candies" come with 6 pieces. Since this was purchased in October, seasonal shapes like pumpkins were available (they had other cute seasonal shapes like skulls. For this month, there are cute little turkeys available). Just like the heart cake, my little girl dog danced and jumped up and down begging to have her treats. She ate these treats over a handful of days as well. It was quite sad though when she finished her last one and unfortunately because there doesn't seem to be anything like this here in Los Angeles, she won't be able to get another treat until the next time we take a visit to San Francisco. Please note that my husband was curious with what the pate tasted liked, lol, so he tried it and thought it was bland. This is good because I wouldn't want to give my little girl something really fatty and salty. If you purchase any food items from this boutique, be sure to be mindful of the short shelf life, since they are made without preservatives. I know that my little girl loves the cakes and treats here and I would love to visit the store front the next time I am in San Francisco (this place also sells some clothes, dog tags, etc as well). read more

My pup and I love Mishka. The owners and employees are extremely kind, always showing lots of love when I go with my pup. They give treats and samples to dogs that go into the store and have created an amazing space for people and their furry friends to enjoy. They recently moved across the street from their old store and now have a larger space with a lounge and lots of cute places to take photos. Mocha loves their jerky which is what I would recommend for those looking for treats that are a little bit nicer. The candies and cakes here are amazing but not something I would get a pup every day. The only thing is that their dog treats are definitely a bit pricier than what you can find at pet stores. But, it is a boutique shop so it is expected when you get there. I first ordered a Mishka birthday cake for Maple back in June when we were in shelter in place. It got delivered from San Francisco to Tri-valley so that was really nice! Maple absolutely inhaled the lamb cake we ordered for her and had a wonderful first birthday party!
