    Grilled Shrimp w/ Chaufa Rice
    Kymbaly W.

I've ordered from here plenty a few times and I am very pleased. It's never really busy when I come. I usually order ahead because I get the grilled shrimp and it takes a little longer. But the staff is always nice and friendly. The grilled shrimp skewers usually comes with 10 shrimp and they are grilled and seasoned perfectly, not over cooked. I always appreciate the white rice at the bottom which soaks up the seasoning from the shrimp. You can't go wrong with the chaufa rice paired with the shrimp. I have also tried the mixed grill which comes with steak, shrimp, and chicken. I've tried the mixed grill twice and the steak is a little tough. But In generally their food is really good. Try it for yourself!

Quarter chicken, plantains and white rice. Tasted good, especially with the Amarillo (yellow) and Salsa Verde sauce!

Tried Miski Peruvian Chicken and ordered the quarter chicken with white rice and plantains. The chicken was flavorful and the plantains were just right, but the vegetables had a spoiled taste and smell, which was disappointing. The passion fruit juice had a nice flavor but wasn't as fresh as expected and tasted a bit watered down. Indoor seating decent, quiet, nice music, not too loud. Customer service was okay -- nothing special, but not bad either. Overall, some hits and misses, but the chicken and plantains were the highlight.

Came in because of the enticing odor of roasting chicken. And the food didn't disappoint. Peruvian chicken is moist and with lots of flavor. The fries are bathed in gravy and the rice brings it together. I went for pollo saltado (ONIONS) and while the serving was substantial, I still wanted to go back for seconds. Restaurant was empty with a steady stream of Door Dash and takeout. This is good food!

this is my family's go-to takeout spot -- we have never NOT enjoyed our meal! i love the churrasco de pollo which is basically a thin grilled chicken breast which comes with 2 sides. the 1/4, 1/2, or whole roasted chicken is probably a better deal financially but i'm a creature of habit! the cheesy potatoes are fire but the fried plantains are easily my favorite side. definitely get the white sauce! i've never eaten in the restaurant so i can't speak much on the service but i've always had good experiences at the takeout counter. there is plenty of indoor seating and a large parking lot.

My neighborhood spot for the grilled chicken cheese steak sandwich... if you can't get to Philly this is the closest to it

I came here with my family on a Sunday night and got to try a lot of dishes. The restaurant was pretty quiet -- only one other party dining in and a few people getting takeout. I had the ceviche mixto which has shrimp, little scallops, octopus, and calamari in addition to the fish. The sauce is really good but I wasn't a fan of the fish. It was hard for me to chew and swallow towards the end. The other seafood was decent. The Peruvian corn kernels are really good. The sweet potato was forgettable for me. Overall I wouldn't get this again but the sauce was good. The mixed fried seafood dish was very large. The best part was the fried shrimp but there were only around 3 of those. There was also fried fish fillet (much preferable to the ceviche version), calamari, and scallop. This was a good dish but naturally quite heavy. Good portion size. My brother got the half chicken which he said was pretty average, and another brother got the steak and egg dish. The steak had good flavor/char but was quite tough. The plantains were good. We tried all of the sauces and they were all delicious! Super airy almost tasted whipped and excellent flavor. A joy to dip things into. This restaurant seems to really know their sauces, as that was really the highlight for both the ceviche and everything else. Overall generous portion sizes (but more shrimp please!) and excellent sauces, average meats and fish. If I came back, I would probably get the shrimp kabob dish.

Food fresh and hot. The shrimp are delicious. I got the grilled shrimp skewers with string beans and fried rice. I tried it with the medium and mild sauces. It was really tasty. Customer service 5 stars

Grilled chicken and kabobs were always one of my favorite entrees, so I was constantly in look out for a good one. I came across Miski as one of my friends suggested this for lunch. It's pretty close to where I work. They have many kabob options such as chicken, beef, and white & dark charbroiled grilled chicken. I like the dark meat so I ordered their qtr dark chicken with two sides. Chicken is extremely tender and juicy. It's very flavorful. I like the smoky texture on the outside. They have plenty of sides to choose from such as plantains, cilantro rice, egg fries rice, beans, and salad. Plantains are my favorite. I actually did not know that plantains were Peruvian food as well cause I thought it was mostly Ghanaian or Nigerian delicacy. Nevertheless, it's delicious. The quantity is good. Generous for the amount you pay which around $9 for 1/4 chicken, and two sides. Kabobs will take at least 15 mins so if you want kabobs then I suggest you to order it online and then when you arrive it should be ready.

Quarter chicken dark meat with chaufu fried rice and fried yuca.
    Phuong O.

Came here for lunch with the bro and got me the quarter chicken dark meat with chaufu fried rice and fried yuca. The chicken was moist and had flavor so A+ for that but the fried rice had no flavor what so ever and it was dried and cold. The yuca was great because it was nice and crispy, can't really mess that one up. The place is nice and looks clean, prices are fair, unlimited sauces. The sides were disappointing =(

Your typical counter side ordering fast-casual set up with fountain drink dispenser and booth/table self serve seating. I ordered three chicken tacos and three beef tacos (I really was starving) she ordered a 1/4 of a chicken with fried yucca. We saw many people go up to the windows and order to go orders and get their food quickly and leave even a couple get their dine in orders quickly. We waited for over 25 mins. I went up and asked and they went to the back and said it would be a short wait. About 10 mins later I got my tacos (the longest I have ever waited for tacos anywhere) but she still didnt have her chicken. The tacos were okay, the chicken tacos were a little dry and sauce was a little lackluster in flavor. She went up and asked and they forgot and got it out in 10 more minutes and delivered it to the table. 45 mins is unacceptable for rotisserie chicken which they have practically waiting to chop and serve (just like they did on all the to go orders) beyond that if they found out they forgot something, why wait for the yucca to be done, they should have served the chicken on the spot saying they yucca would be done shortly instead of having a hungry guest wait. Over all the food was okay at best and plus the elongated wait time just made for a bad experience. It seemed that no one working had any sense of urgency. Probably would not go back.

I had a date at a pool party, dropped her back off in the far northwest side of Baltimore City, looked at my AMC movie app to determine if any times work at Owings Mills or elsewhere within reason. Saw a mediocre movie and went for a late dinner after 8 PM, and this was a solid Peruvian chicken. I was trying to eat healthy getting 1/4 chicken white, green side salad, & green beans. Green beans were very good as was the chicken. Staff was nice. While it's not in my top favorite Peruvian chicken, it was solid. Unfortunate, I haven't made it back over here, but very rare I ever go to AMC Owings Mills for movie.

Several months ago, a friend, ("L", if you happen to read this :-), treated a bunch of us to some super-fresh super-tasty ceviche Peruano, and I lost the info. Yesterday, hoping for a quiet lunch, we found Pipilinka Peruvian Charbroiled Chicken, and the moment we saw the authentic home-made foods on the menu, we knew this was the place! There's plenty of parking, and we walked across a patio with benches and tables shared among several restaurants, also used for occasional live music. Pipilinka is a cute colorful storefront towards the west end of the patio, with some specials on a sandwich board out front. Inside it's cozy and cute, brightly decorated with Peruvian art and crafts. It's family-run, and the owner helped several groups who arrived at the same time, 1:40pm on a Saturday (Nov 2025), sort out among the 25 or so indoor seats. Several could sit out front, on a nice day. The weather was a bit cool, and we loved sitting indoors near the little space-heater in the front area. The friendly owner helped us with several questions about the offerings, and we started with a $4.50 bean and cheese Salvadoran pupusa. The farina corn dough was hot, pan-fried to a slight sear on one side, filled with flavor, and came with a small cup of simple tangy fermented cabbage slaw, curtido. The side of clear golden-red tomato non-spicy flavorful salsa-rojo was perfect over the pupusa. They have two or three stand up coolers of canned and bottled beverages, many from Peru and Latin America, and also several that they make themselves. We had a bottled unsweetened lime sparkling-water, Topo Chico, and traditional home-made purple-corn drink, chicha morada, sweet, slightly-fruity, with a hint of clove or cinnamon. Both were very refreshing. As you might guess, the $12 broiled dark-meat quarter-chicken with two sides was our first choice, with Peruvian rice and a small fresh avocado salad. The chicken was just as we wanted it, falling-off-the-bone tender, moist, marinated and gently seasoned throughout, with crispy skin. It was nicely presented on a large pretty plate as a meal, much nicer than fast-food. The generous serving of Chaufa rice is a traditional Chinese-Peruvian recipe of wok-fried rice with shredded chicken, egg, and very-finely chopped veggies, such as bell peppers and scallions. The Inka salad is of fresh lettuce, thin-sliced ripe avocado and tomato and pink pickled onion slices. We chose a small cup of the tangy only-slightly-spicy yellow-color sauce, an Aji Pollero Amarillo, rather than the verde green sauce that the owner said would be spicier. Perfectly cooked and delicious. We also had $18 pan-fried Pescado a la Sarten, sweet white fish, lightly coated and fried, with some of the crunchy tangy picked onions. We added a side of yucca, lightly fried and lightly salted, and as tender as yucca can get :-), more textured than french fries. We used some of that slightly-spicy amarillo salsa as a very complimentary dip. We added steak fries, not an adventurous choice, and they were also lightly fried and lightly salted, and pillowy soft inside. That fish was especially nice, so tender and light and flavorful. We finished with a box of five daisy-shaped home-made Peruvian Alfajores pastries, a pair of thin delicate melt-in-your mouth shortbread-like cookies with a thin layer of purple Peruvian dulce-de-leche sweet jam between. Heavenly! The staff compete to heat the condensed milk just hot enough just long enough for the perfect pastry. The owner tells us that it's all about the timing. Today's recipe has our vote! Somehow, so satisfied from such a delicious meal, we managed to save a couple to take home :-) This is a lovely gentle cozy family-run place to enjoy delicious homemade traditional Peruvian and Salvadoran foods.
