I've used both their daycare and boarding services, and I honestly cannot say enough good things…read moreabout the care they provide. My dog knows exactly where we're going when we get in the car, and by the time we arrive, he's practically vibrating with excitement. He runs straight to the door, ready to see his friends and start playing. As a pet parent, there's no better indication of how much a dog loves a place. One of the things I appreciate most is their temperament-testing process. I'll admit, I was a little unsure about it at first, but after seeing how successful their program is, I've become a firm believer. Willow Creek doesn't just put dogs together and hope for the best. They carefully evaluate each dog and group them based on personality, temperament, and activity level. My dog is one of the energetic pups who's always ready to play, and they do a fantastic job making sure he has compatible friends while also ensuring he gets time to rest and recharge. He always comes home happy, fulfilled, and completely exhausted. What really sets Willow Creek apart, though, is how much they genuinely care. The staff know my dog by name and greet him like family every time he arrives. Sure, he's a lovable guy, but that level of personal attention and affection speaks volumes about the culture they've created. I also love the updates and photos they share. Seeing pictures of my dog playing with his friends, enjoying a special treat like doggie ice cream or a donut, and simply having a great time gives me so much peace of mind when I'm away. And I have to mention the baths. Whatever shampoo they use is pure magic. My dog comes home looking great and smelling amazing for weeks afterward. I still haven't figured out their secret! Most importantly, I trust Willow Creek Ranch completely with the care of my dogs. While I usually board the dog I've talked about here, they've also cared for two of my other dogs. No matter the breed, size, or temperament, they've always been willing to work with both the dog and the owner to create a safe, positive experience. That level of dedication is rare. If you're looking for a place where your dog will be cared for, understood, and genuinely loved while you're away, I wholeheartedly recommend Willow Creek Ranch. For us, it's not just a daycare or boarding facility, it's part of our extended family.

Extremely Disappointed -- Completely Ignored What We Asked For…read more We brought our Shih Tzu in for grooming and specifically showed the groomer a picture of the haircut we wanted. We were very clear about what we were looking for. We knew our dog had some mats on his chest, and we told the groomer upfront that we understood those mats would need to be shaved out. What we did NOT agree to was having our entire dog completely shaved down. When we picked him up, we were absolutely shocked. The haircut we requested was nowhere close to what was done. He had essentially been shaved from head to toe. If the groomer determined that the matting was so extensive that they could not achieve the requested haircut, the appropriate thing to do would have been to contact us before proceeding. We could have discussed our options and made an informed decision. Instead, they made that decision for us without ever contacting us. Matting on one area of the dog does not give a groomer carte blanche to completely change the haircut without communicating with the owner. If you reach a point where you need to do something significantly different from what the customer requested, you call the customer. Period. We understand that grooming a matted dog can be difficult. We understand that sometimes mats have to be shaved out for the dog's comfort and safety. That is not the issue. The issue is the complete lack of communication and the fact that they ignored the haircut we specifically requested. We trusted them with our dog and expected them to either do what we asked or contact us if that was not possible. Instead, we were left with a dog that looked nothing like what we had asked for. We will absolutely not be returning, and I would strongly recommend that anyone using this groomer be very clear about what you want and, more importantly, make sure they agree to contact you before making any major changes to your dog's haircut. Very disappointing experience.

Wow! I feel the need to update my review after Hurrican Beryl. I happened to be out of town during…read morethe storm, luckily. Exceptional care of pets as always. When I was one of the lucky ones that went several days without power, Crystal jumped in with extra visits, no problem. GUYS...She even cleaned out my fridge and freezer of spoiled food! YOU READ THAT RIGHT! Voluntarily, she got rid of perishables that were going to be a problem. Good thing, I didn't get power back for another 5 days! What a mess I would've had. She also improvised extra water for the cats through the outage and made everything work for the well being of everyone (physical for cats and mentally for me!). I am lucky to have found Crystal when I moved to Houston 4 years ago, would not hesitate to recommend to anyone!

This is my experience with Crystal's Cozy pets…read more My family and I have used Crystal's Cozy Pets for the last two years. We have had various animals that they have watched through out the years but most recently we have a 7 year old German Shepherd and a 7 month old Lab plus a kitten and two cats. Our sitter has been Hailey. In the beginning, everything was great! We would leave on a 10 day road trip and Hailey would come 4 times a day to take of the animals and we would get updates on the animals plus pictures. After some time, we started getting complaints about our dog Leo, the German Shepherd. That he was jumping on Hailey and causing scratches on her back. After that trip, I asked the owner, Crystal, if they could can still handle Leo and the verified "yes" that he was no problem. As time went on, we got Oso, a lab puppy. We just left on another 10 day road trip and received nothing but complaints and nagging about Oso almost every time Hailey went to our home. She complained so much about him, my husband and I stop replying to her messages. She accused my Oso of nipping and bitting her, which he has never done with me or my kids. I have video footage of her yelling at him and being aggressive towards him because once again, I have a 7 month puppy that will jump on her. Which 7 month old puppies will do! Hailey literally complained about almost everything about Oso. Aren't you a dog sitter? You are supposed to love animals but we definitely do not feel the love for our animals at all during this trip. Hailey is not qualified or has the the patience to deal with puppies or big dogs. 7 days into our trip, we are literally thousands of miles away and Crystal, the owner, calls us to say they no longer can take care of Oso and we need to come home! Or find another arrangement of care for him while we are still on the other side of the country! Are you kidding me?!? Thankfully, we found a lovely young man that was able to do it and he has been wonderful and says Oso is a wonderful puppy and has no issues with him! WOW! What a difference! Thankfully, since our family trip was intentionally ruined with Hailey and her complaints, we finally got to relax our last two days with the help with our new dog sitter, Junior! Honestly, we were not going to book with Crystal's Cozy Pets this trip, but wanted to give them another try. Boy, I should have listened to my gut. When you on vacation, you should be confident that you leave your pets in the hands of someone that will love and take care of them like you would and in all honesty, I don't feel like CCP's can do that.
