I stopped by here last week looking for a Padres shirt since I was going to a game. Sadly they didn't have any but I decided to look around since they had a wide variety of shirts. I ended up getting a really nice Trump shirt. Omarr helped me out and did a great job printing it out for me and was super friendly. I came to this store to buy a shirt that my nephew saw hanging and wanted. The man behind the counter "made" the shirt, then charged $70.01. When told that my nephew did not have that money because he didn't believe it would be that price. We turned to leave, and he asked what he could afford. We told him only $20 for this souvenir shirt, and he began to attempt to pressure us to pay at least $35. We turned around to leave, and he stated that he was calling the police. I told him he had zero grounds as we were not taking anything, and my nephew was a minor. He proceeded to follow us out of the store, through Belmont Park, and halfway through the parking lot "on his phone." It wasn't until I stated out loud, "I'm calling the police and filing a stalking report," that he then snivkered and walked away. A police report has now been filed against him for harassment, and I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau. read more

A gf and I went sundress shoppin as its pretty obvious that summers around the corner and we happened to come here since it was next door to a tat parlor where she purchased her ring.. So there was a guy who greeted us who was really nice and cheery and very helpful. But heres the kicker.. Here is when you know that he was just trying to sell his merchandise versus really lookin out for his customer and being HONEST. My friend is very big breasted, skinny, but very big breasted and she had tried on this sundress that was really cute. Unfortunately, it CLEARLY did not compliment her body nor her breasts and he kept saying "Oh it looks really cute on you!" Come on, theres a time and place when you can actually get away with your "lies" but this was not one of them. She looked absolutely ridiculous, she herself knew she looked absolutely ridiculous and this guy was telling her that it "looked cute".. WOW.. If you want your merchandise sold, be honest. So dishonesty and overpriced merchandise are what I feel is being offered here. They do have cute sundresses- but you can find those same exact dress elsewhere for much cheaper. Came here for a souvenir for JJ. The selection is limited, but most of the stores on this row seemed to offer the same limited options I guess that is standard. The prices marked on the rack seem reasonable, however, none seemed to match the price coming up at the register. There was also some adder or 'misalignment'. Annoying because you need to either grab something without concern for the price (which I ended up doing since it seemed like the right souvenir) or constantly ask how much things are. We just got done spending a week on the beach for family vacation.typically we shop.at other near by vendor's but Out of pure luck we went into this store and the experience was phenomenal. We have a large family and spend several hundred dollars every year on shirts and sweaters. They got 99% of our business. It advertised as a women's boutique but they have tons for men and kids as well. They went out if their way to accommodate all of our requests and did it with a smile. I had the worst customer service experience of my life here... If it could be considered customer service at all. A friend and I went in to look for a bday present for my boyfriend while enjoying our vacation on the beach. The lady at the Counter was having a conversation with someone and wasn't paying much attention to my friend who wanted his design printed. Eventually she helped him and went back to her conversation. Right before paying for the shirt, my friend asked if there were any discounts today. She replied "I'll give you 2 for $19". We thought great go and pick out another shirt! Came back to the register to pay (meanwhile she'd been talking to this guy the entire time) and his total came out $48 and some change. Confused he asked about the price and repeated back what she told us. She denied it and said she told him the second shirt would be 2 for $19. Clearly a misunderstanding so my friend said sorry no thanks and reached for his card... The lady refused to give him back his card and instead tried to make him enter his PIN number and pay for it anyway. The guy she had been talking to all along ended up being the manager who repeatedly told him how f***ed up he was for making her print the shirt and refusing to pay. Once my friend finally got his card back the manager followed us outside and continued to yell at him. He became violent and threatened to beat my friend up. The lady running the cash register ran outside to watch leaving only customers in the store. A few minutes later my boyfriend's dad (after hearing the story) went in to have a word with the manager... Who wouldn't step out of the back (I wonder why). I attempted to report this situation to the better business bureau but their small business isn't on the list. The situation could have easily been reported to the police but we didn't want to ruin our vacation in San Diego. Worst service and management I have ever witnessed in my life. read more

Well, I'm going to write this review because this place is a scam! I walked into the store and there was a guy who was being helpful, kind, and very attentive with us. I mean he kept trying to sell me on stuff. Well, he told us if I bought at least six shirts he would sell them to me at $12 and I was like ok that's not a bad deal since they put graphic logos on them. Well, he began to be extremely pushing on trying to keep selling me and every time I said, no thanks. He gave me a frustrated look. Then he kept and kept with buy this buy that and I was like no!!! Then he said if you buy this beach bag I will sell it to you for $12. So I did buy the bag because I really liked it the moment I walked in the store. The scam was when he rang us up he swiped our credit card, then asked for our driver license number which was weird to me, but what nailed the scam to me was he rang my shirts up at $12.99 each and my bag at $12.99. I then asked him well why did you add on an extra .99 to each item? He stated that's the tax. I am not stupid there is a separate line at the bottom that states tax amount and I pointed it to him. Then he says oh, well when I say $12 I mean $12.99 because I have to add the .99 to the end of the dollar amount. Well, if that's the case then why didn't my shirts ring up at $11.99 then tax. I told him I felt lied to and he said oh well it's my fault and I'm sorry. I will never never never shop at a dishonest business ever again! My total was over $100 and they could have gotten more future business from me, but now I will let everyone know about how dishonest this place was to me.
