I did a google search for photographers and reached out to a few. I couldn't be happier we chose Kelly Jacobi Photography. The only time the whole family would be in town was around Christmas--Kelly did our session December 23!! and had some sneak peak images ready on Christmas Day!! Yes she worked the holiday so would have a few shots to look at, knowing we were excited to see them! I think this sums her up: caring, hard working and client focused!! She did an in-home causal session capturing my parents with their grandchildren perfectly! Some of everyone just having fun and some more formal of the whole group but the whole session was very relaxed and fun. Even with a 1 year old, and a 4 year old who pinched his hand and cried for twenty minutes. She handled it all beautifully! Even got my older brother, who hates having his picture taken to be very natural and real!! Kelly fit us in during the holidays, took the time to ask what we wanted in our session before the day and on the shoot day made everyone relaxed and captured our family love, laughter and closeness! Her turnaround was as she told us, her pricing very reasonable and most importantly the final products and photos are gorgeous and will be cherished by all of us for generations! We were initially unsure about the lights on the dance floor, but he really knows how to make a phenomenal experience! Our guests danced the night away, and Bob knew exactly how to keep the energy high! Towards the end of the night, I was getting tired and ready to leave and Bob noticed from the other side of the room, perfectly transitioning into an appropriate goodbye song for us! Never in my life have I witnessed such irrational and unstable behavior from an owner of a business much less one that's in the entertainment service industry. 1 star is too high for this business. If I knew how to give 0 stars I would. I was at a wedding in Waupaca this last weekend where Bob Holl Entertainment was providing the reception entertainment. Bob Holl was the DJ. Through his unprofessionalism and irrational behavior, he single handedly ruined the wedding reception. He was extremely inflexible with regards to the Bride's request, he was not willing to take music requests, he threatened guests over the microphone that were in his opinion dancing "too close" to his speakers. He made the bride cry on two separate occasions that I witnessed. He did not even allow the bouquet and garter toss. Conversations Bob Holl had with the guests became more and more irrational as the night progressed. He was unable to relate to the crowd and to top it off, he packed up his equipment at 10:30 and shut down the party an hour and a half earlier than he was contracted... The reception was intended to go to 12:00. When confronted about his early exit, he started citing irrelevant points within his contract and he even went as far as threatening the individuals that were questioning his actions. Looking back on it and his growing inflexibility throughout the night, it was apparent that he had a premeditated agenda to close down the party early and evident that this has likely occurred in the past.

I have attended the Wednesday Night Summer Concert Series many times and have enjoyed the free music very much! Bring a chair, your favorite snacks and beverages and enjoy some free entertainment. On Thursday afternoons (summer) there is usually some type of farmers market with an occasional entertainer on stage. The venue is a city square block that was a water fountain that kids can play in. There are tables and chair along the "restaurant side" or can order takeout and enjoy the nice weather. In winter there is a free ice rink and snow slide for the kids.

It has become a…read morehub for a variety of actvities: concerts every Wednesday evening in the summer; Chalkfest in July, a Farmers Market every Thursday, ice skating in the winter, a fountain that kids love to run in, a variety of special events, etc. They have very good bands at the summer concerts: a wide variety of musical genres are represented. One of my favorites is Copper Box. The Farmers Market has a variety of fresh produce, a variety of services and products and of course some food tents/carts. One of my favorites are the eggrolls made by the Hmong Missionary Alliance Church: Man can these people cook! The sound stage is very nice; it is not an old style band shell. You can hear fairly well even if you are sitting outside a restaurant like Townie's and a perfect summer evening as the sun goes down. I think of Janis Joplin singing: Summertime and the livin' is easy.
