One of my coworkers told me about Mission 27 Resale. I liked her shoes she had on. She said she got them at Mission 27 Resale. They have two locations one on Leota St. and this location on Shelby St. This was my first time to this location I've been to the Leota location a couple of times. This location has a coffee shop right when you walk in "Holy Grounds Coffee" and lots of parking. They have a donation drop off area at the back of the building also. In this trip I purchased a dress and a JR Watson lemon soap that had a Target seal on it. You never know what you will find on a trip and that's the fun part about it! Mission 27 Resale is run by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. This is an international organization of men and women who believe in service to those who are in need or suffering. The stores saying is "the products are upscale in quality and look, but not in price!" I find that to be true. The money that the stores receive goes to the society's food pantries as well as the Changing Lives Forever Campaign, which teaches people how to lift themselves out of poverty. This is from the website, "Good things for good purpose - it's not just about giving new life to used items. It's about giving a better life to those in need." What a great organization and I'm happy to shop here and donate! If you have things to donate this a great place to do so!

This is the nicest cleanest thrift store I've ever been too. When u walk in it doesn't smell musty it's smells clean haha. They have new stuff that's still in its original package and then they have the regular thrift stuff items. They have lots of clothes some furniture and home stuff. I would definitely come back often to see when they bring new stuff in. This time I didn't find anything that caught my eye. Oh and also they have a nice little coffee shop! soo cool . Plenty of parking that's always very important to me because if parking is difficult to find I won't shop at those certain places.

I was in the area and have been seeing this store for awhile so decided to stop by. They mainly have donated items including housewares, clothing, and they have overfill products from places like Target. The store is very large and everything is well organized. I found a vintage set of playing cards with Indianapolis photos for $2. As with any thrift store, clothing and shoes can be hit or miss. It's worth checking out.

Most stores don't carry a size 5 in Hoka, which is my preferred brand to run in, but Stout's had exactly what I needed. I didn't even go in expecting to leave with shoes, but with Robert's expertise and friendly persuasion, I walked out with the perfect pair. The Bondi 9 might be the most comfortable shoe I've ever put on my feet -- an absolute game changer. I can be particular about color and sometimes hard to please when I have something specific in mind, but Robert went above and beyond to help me find the right fit. He was knowledgeable and genuinely eager to help. I left feeling confident in my purchase and so happy with the experience. Stout's is officially my go-to place to shop for high-end running shoes!

He was so patient and really listened when I answered his question about how the shoes felt. He tried different brands to make sure it was the right fit. I made a comment about being lazy with my toe shoes and sliding them on (I know, that's a bad habit). He found a solution for that, too! He was able to find multiple pairs to fit my needs, then even found something to fit my husband. Great experience!

One of the pairs, my Footjoy Classics Spikeless, stopped being produced in 2009 so I wasn't sure how difficult of a project this might be for Mike. Turns out they look better than they did when they were new! More support, better constructed, and they look brand new. Mike took a pair of shoes that were literally falling apart and brought them back to life, even better than before. These Footjoys look better than anything Footjoy sells these days! Mike did such a great job that I dropped off another pair when I picked up my last 2 pair. And I have about 3 more pairs of shoes that are in need of being recrafted, Cento Shoes will be wear I am taking them. The price is right at Cento Shoes and they carry all the good and necessary shoe care products to keep your shoes in great shape and well nourished. Jennifer who works in the front of the house is just amazing and super kind. She got me taken care of in no time and while I was there picking up my shoes I got some new socks and shoe care accessories too. Cento Shoes has been around longer than I have been alive and Mike Cento has the same passion for shoes that I do. Footwear is really important to me. If it is important to you and want support a locally-owned family business of 50+ years that brings footwear back to life, go see Mike and Jennifer at Cento Shoes, you will not be disappointed. Mike is like the Obi-Wan Kenobi of shoe recrafting. He has a new customer and a friend for life. Thank you!!!

I showed up today after a very long drive already in a mediocre mood. I went up to the front desk to ask about a Facebook Marketplace agreement I had made for a sofa set and the price, only to find out there had been some miscommunication. At first I honestly thought I might have been scammed, which instantly put me in a terrible mood. I definitely huffed around and complained about how far I had driven while trying to sort it out. Long story short...the Facebook Marketplace dealer was not a scam at all. We had simply misunderstood which pieces we were talking about. Fast forward to the end of the visit: three employees (two gentlemen and a woman / I'm sad I didn't get their names) helped me load everything and went the extra mile in every way. They were incredibly kind to me... even after my less-than-great attitude earlier. I tipped them and apologized for being grumpy, but I have to say I left there genuinely believing in people again. They handled the situation with so much patience and kindness. Very cool experience. I'll absolutely be back (with a better attitude!) and I'll be paying that kindness forward. Thank you to those three employees....even helped load my trailer. Seriously nice. Like....extra! Thank yoU!
