You can tell he is smiling when he picks up the phone. Courtney greeted our weary party (3 vehicles, 5 adults & 2 dogs tired from a 2-1/2 day trip) and had us checked in with keys in hand within 30 minutes. Our apartment is amazing. We wake up to the sunrise and enjoy coffee on our patio overlooking beautifully landscaped areas. It is clean, the entry ways are well lit, we don't hear our neighbors, etc. Who knew that I would Google "apartment living in Melbourne" in early February and be living here by 4/1? I felt right at home with Anthony who we flew down to meet and tour the property in late February. From the office staff, to the maintenance team, to the residents--Highlands Viera West may be our FOREVER home.

The management and staff take the time to be courteous and personable with the tenants, always considerate and professional. They seek to resolve any issues and communicate very well, even if it's just a "hello! How are you?" in passing. Even though there is an online service portal (pay rent, service request etc) a real person always follows up as well as someone from the front office. And response to any call, email or request is prompt. Maintenance does an outstanding job on upkeep and you always see them out and about attending to their calls the whole day. Our unit was so well maintained that we had 0 service calls (not even to change a light)but I've always seen a quick response to other calls as well as plenty of preventative maintenance. As with any rental property, the people make the place, we had really cool neighbors and along with the leasing office everyone was super cool and considerate. Thank you Polo Glen!

They had a major leak water everywhere we went to the office and the woman there could give a crap. We told them about the leak. They said they had to hear from the " owners". We called them on their cell phone and they said they could not talk to them because they did not know who we called. I told them I did not live there and never would. They called us Karen's after insulting us for trying to protect their building. When our friends came back they not only had wet carpet but black mold also. I will be writing a review on google as well. the gates to the front are always broken, they have been broken more then they have been working. so no security, and we do get people knocking on our doors asking for money. The garbage is overloaded, we have complained and they say its because waste management only picks on twice a week, they have one dumpster for the whole apartment complex, the garbage stinks, we have rats and rodents around it and its gross, the pool cushions are ripped up and stained, they state it is a no smoking community and no glass containers or drinking at the pool, I wouldnt want a small child at the pool, the smoke, drink, vape, and have glass every where, leave there garbage , with zero consequences, I have complained and they do nothing. Also, now people are using the parking lots to work on there cars, oil stains, gas stains, cars up on ramps, it looks awful, who wants to see that in their neighborhood. Not I. Beware when you rent here. Not all that it cracks up to be. Cant wait to move out.

I've lived at Fountain Villas for several years, and while the complex is marketed as "luxury…read moreliving," that couldn't be further from the truth. Recently, management ordered us to remove the beautiful plants we've maintained for over five years--plants they previously complimented. Meanwhile, they continue to ignore major issues we've raised repeatedly: Smoking (both cigarettes and marijuana) constantly seeps into our apartment, despite numerous complaints. All we get are useless emails that do nothing to address the problem. Junk cars sit in parking spots for months, handicap and no parking zones are constantly violated, and even with photographic proof, management does nothing. The lawn is in terrible condition due to neglectful service, and the mulch areas are rundown. The amenities are only available during business hours, making them essentially unusable for working residents. The pool has been closed several times this summer because of a faulty pump, which management refuses to replace, despite health concerns. The apartments themselves are outdated and poorly maintained, with peeling cabinets, makeshift shower repairs, and appliances that barely work. On top of that, the **onsite management is rude and condescending**, showing no interest in resolving any of these issues. If you're considering Fountain Villas, don't be fooled by the "luxury" label--it's old, rundown, and terribly managed.

** WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER LIVED... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!…read more When I moved here 3 years ago I thought I was moving into a gated community. That was my first mistake, assuming that the gates worked. They do not. They have been functional for a total of 1 week in the time I have lived here. When I moved here, I moved here with a car and a scooter. I no longer have a scooter. I parked it where I was told by management after they refused to issue me a 2nd parking sticker (only one per unit even if it is a 2 bedroom). They then removed my scooter from the property without notifying me. They stole it if you will. $1000 loss right there. There used to be a fountain in one of the ponds here. A year or so ago it apparently broke. Of course it was not repaired or replaced. Last year during the worst of Summer, my AC broke. Over the course of two months and 6 attempts to repair it later... and me being without AC for a combined 3 weeks, they finally relented and put in a new air handler. This month my kitchen flooded. They brought a plumber out who let me know how their company hated coming out here because of the known issues (property has not been updated... See AC issue). 3 days of backed up bacteria laden water all over everything in my kitchen and with the apartment smelling terribly. Finally it was cleaned up. I asked for a nominal 50 dollar credit for my time and for the damage to my possessions. Lol... what was I thinking? That was a hell no. Let us talk about the windows for a sec. they don't keep the water out. Is that important to you? I let management know of the floods in my living room especially after severe storms. They would not fix them. As a result there is significant damage to the main living room wall where there in no doubt mold and rot behind it. The plaster and paint has bubbled. By the way... there is NO parking here. Usually I have to park a building or two down and haul groceries from there. Maybe that is why the restriction on one sticker/vehicle per unit. Also trash is one bin in the complex which you will drive to. If you move here, expect a lot of notices on your door. Many are threatening... such as the consequences for celebrating 4th of July (that is a big NO NO)... Or just another one letting you know they will be entering your apartment again to look around. They really like to do that a lot. I know they are supposed to give a 24 hour notice... but 12 hours is all I get sometimes. By the way, thankfully I was never late on rent. If you move here however, make sure you aren't either! After the 3rd of the month there is a $100 fine. But that is only good for a couple days. They start the eviction process with the Sheriff and all 10 to 14 days into the month. In summary... in the 20 years that I have been renting, this is hands down the worst place I have lived. I am finally leaving. I only wish I could have found a suitable replacement much, much sooner. ** Quick Update: I forgot to mention... the police are here all the time. That should tell you something. Immediately after posting this review I left to run some errands. And of course the police are outside again. So I snapped a quick photo and added it. A slipshod front posing as a legitimate business. I was also fraud by their technique of being charged along with the tenants for work on the property. What's worse is they hire woefully unqualified people to do work and or repairs, and when there is damage, their claim is doing me a favor and can't be held responsible. I'm aware of all the people who work or had worked in this office: michael (no longer works there), Shannon and Nicole. They seem to use this technique of double dipping (charging the tenants and the landlord) they are full of excuses for their bad behavior, and I believe, full of s@it as well. The shame of it all is that the owner Barbera, is either complicit or just asleep at the wheel, either way the children have taken over the candy store. This agency is BAD NEWS, Do Not Use!
