New space for the coffee house!

The new location for Mission Coffee House is really bright and pretty. Seems like you'll be in a cool building with a lot of other niche businesses. A little bit loud with construction going on, but one could just think of it as normal coffee house background noise? I got to chai latte. It was a little bit chaotic when I got there, so I forgot to tell them that I needed oat milk until the order had already been put into the system. The barista kindly said they would just go in for me. The guac and chips were simple but so well executed! Very creamy and dense guac. While the chips def taste more crisp than normal store bags. Plenty of space to social distance too! Parking is super easy. Definitely a place I will revisit!

My wife and I visited the Mission Coffee House on a Saturday morning. I ordered the red pepper wrap and my wife ordered the BLT. We had lattes made and an order of tortilla chips with guacamole. The lattes were perfect! My red pepper wrap was very flavorful and superbly presented. It reminded me of a commercial where they show the best presentation but receive something that looks destroyed in real life. Not here. It was picture perfect with a side of chips. The BLT was tasty and well presented. The tortilla chips had the perfect saltiness that complimented the great guacamole! Stop her for a cozy atmosphere and great staff that serve wonderful food

What a fantastic mid winter surprise! Stopped in for lunch, rather ravenous..wraps and sandwich menu was a nice mix of options. Chose the hot ham and cheddar sandwich with chips and a pickle and mango sparkling iced tea. Only $11.00! I say that because the sandwich was huge and thick with very good ham. Great honey mustard dressing, just enough greens and red onion to not overpower the sandwich. The ONLY thing amiss was the bread. It was very good, looked to be a homemade light wheat. But a bit lightweight compared to the ton of stuff on this sandwich. It fell apart a few bites in. No bother, I grabbed knife and fork and finished it off. Oh My Goodness Gracious! Best sammie I've had in a long while. Will definitely be back. Also, the vibe is great. There are actually easy chairs and little corners to canoodle in. Something rare these days. It's a small space but there is a feeling of privacy from other diners and the staff. The fella who took my order told me to "make your self comfortable". It wasnt hard to do, that's for sure. Open til 9pm m thru th. Sweet! And the choc chip cookie and coffee for dessert were right on too!

    They have it right!

Drive to Trigs or battle Super Wal-Mart…read more Very Limited Variety: Have an alternative item in mind. Convenience: Location is convenient. Check out is SLOW. No Hustle. They ID everyone "under the age of 99" . Everyone. Be prepared to be behind a Senior getting carded for wine. Quality depends on what is purchased. It doesn't take long to figure it out on your own. I stick to basic staple items. Price/Value: The Key Card Items are the only way Copps remains competitive. Now that the store is being 'remodeled' items are being moved daily even within their department. Who does this? Stopping and shopping at this Copps is a 1 Star experience.

Ok. So I was in town for Trivia weekend. My family and I come to Point often to see my wife's…read moreparents but rarely do I eat with such a free will. I was trying to find a bonafide bakery for some serious donuts and apparently Yelp hasn't quite caught on in this town like I would have liked. I knew Copps had donuts, I am a former employee (of good standing) of 9 years. I know the quality and selection would be just fine. So Saturday morning, after the "running question" my cohort and I stopped at Copps on Church St. We chose a lovely array of a dozen + doughey goodnesses. They did not disappoint. Now, I know what you're thinking, Is there really a bad donut... hell yes there is and these were not them. They were supremely fresh, and down right incredible. So Sunday rolls around and I realize that my donut fix has not been fully satisfied. So I promptly got in my car and drove to the Plover location for another stunning variety of donuts. This trip was about 3.5 hours later than the previous days pick up and I wondered if the freshness could be topped. Once again, the donut were nothing less than stellar! Really. Run, don't walk to your nearest Copps, in any Wisconsin city for a donut of your choice. I believe that the consistency would not disappoint -The nice thing about having a business with many locations. Stevens Point/ Plover/ Whiting doesn't need a stand alone bakery as long as Copps is makin' the donuts...

Which is the one criteria that makes restaurants worthwhile for me. I had a chicken salad croissant, which turned out to be chicken curry. It would have been nice to know before I ordered that it was chicken curry, because I would have ordered something different. Nine dollars for a sandwich I wasn't thrilled about, a teeny bag of chips and a funky-tasting iced tea was my experience. I may come back and try something different, but this place doesn't get my overwhelming vote of confidence.

STEEL WOOL IN SOUP We brought friends here from out of town…read morefor lunch. We ordered soup, and found steel wool in it. The incompetent waitress, did not tell anyone about this mishap as she said she would, example owners, Lisa and Chris, but when we left we brought it up. They only offered excuses. The poorest of customer service. I used to run a restaurant out of state, and you do what you can to remedy the situation. This was not done. Food is just ok. Service was inadequate on this day. When we go to eat there, they push their Paranormal details when we are eating. Coming to our table, not invited. BIG NOTE: Do not go to their Paranormal Investigations for $40.00. We also brought our friends there the same weekend. Huge letdown. Their was no investigation. The ladies did nothing for 3.5 hours and wasted our time. They had some broken toys they called their equipment. People have to know that this is a misrepresentation of Paranormal. This was the worst of my lowest expectations . We went back 3 weeks later to discuss our disappointment with the ladies, and yet again only excuses. They really must think they are something. They could not answer questions completely, and rambled on about nothing basically for the entire time we were there. I would not have expected this from these "seemingly" nice ladies. What a joke. We gave them some time, to maybe write a letter or something, and there was nothing. I have never been so let down and "fooled" by people. Our 4 other friends felt the same. This was our last visit to the Cottage. We have them a chance, for 3 weeks. Surprised and Disappointed. (Just to let you know all other restaurants in the area are fantastic, example, Paradise, Mikey's, Asochel, SkyClub, Christians, Samoeuns, Club Forest and so many others. Nice selection of Plover restaurants, but NOT the Cottage Café.
