Waited a hour and a half for a coffee and burrito crunch wrap checked in with them every 30 min and they rudely said it would be out in a few minutes every time. Then I just started waiting by the window and they ask if I put a crunch wrap in for Kai that's not my name I even spelled it out for the lady taking my order so the handed me Kai's food that was done 30 minutes ago and then wouldn't comeback out to window when I just wanted them to reheat it so I didn't have to eat a luke warm burrito crunch wrap. This was a cute coffee shop with plenty of room indoor and outdoor. They have an outdoor window for ordering, but there was an employee screaming the drink orders from the top of her lungs from the inside, which was bit extreme and not very effective. She did this for one drink several times, until the person finally came inside to retrieve it. Other than that, I enjoyed my drink and gluten free sandwich. I love love love Zest. I have been a loyal customer since they opened and have never been disappointed. Lately, I have been going after my midwife appointments as a treat for myself. Their lunch menu is excellent and suits every pregnancy craving for spicy food and fresh produce. I LOVE their coconut curry soup. Baked goods are also excellent. read more

Found myself in this cute little town for work and needed coffee in a bad way! Did a lottle yelp search and then asked a local which they preferred. Zest definitely came out on top! Being directly across from the campus I was definitely one of the older people in the place, but the coffee was worth the wait. My only complaint are the syrups. I really wish shops would stop using monin, it ruins the flavor of the coffee. The girl at the counter was nice and helpful and the barista definitely meant business, you could tell she knew her stuff. My favorite part however... the Shel Silverstein plastered counter! What a GREAT little place tucked by campus and full of tasty treats and sandwiches and coffee, tea, smoothies and crafted latès! I wish I lived here because the lavender cream bars are SO PERFECT and well balanced and not to sweet! I also got the avocado breakfast sandwich and it was so tasty and savory with the egg cooked perfectly! The docorations are fun and the staff is friendly. Got a good vibe entering Zest. Loved the mismatched artwork and the sustainability focus with the option to use a mug on their shelf. Breve latte is my go to coffee shop drink and I wasn't disappointed. It was rich, smooth and very tasty. Didn't order any food. Decided to get lunch from here for the first time. They have fantastic healthy varieties of food to choose from! What a hidden gem in a sleepy college town like this one! I absolutely love the atmosphere here. This establishment is across the street from campus and situated next to a vapor shop. There were seating with tables and comfy sofas. Don't be fooled by the outside. Inside is where paradise is. We were greeted with smiles and a very laid back cashier. Attached to the service counter, yummy pastries sat behind the glass just begging to be eaten. Top left you'll find a Harry Potter Latte Menu. And that was it, I was sold. I basically said, "Just give me any hot beverage and anything behind the glass, I'll hand you however much you want." Service was friendly and fast. My husband bought a tea and it was heaven for him; piping hot and perfect for our stroll around campus in this polar vortex. If the line is more than 6 people long and you have somewhere to go, don't wait, you will probably miss your appointment. It reminds me of a kitschy, cozy basement. My favorite part of the whole place is the Shel Silverstein poetry decoupaged onto the countertop. Also, they have the cream and sugar thing down - an actual jar of sugar, actual spoons, and a place for the used ones. Call me crazy, but I hate standing in a coffee shop with a stir stick dripping in my hand with nowhere to put it. So kudos as far as that goes. The menu was extremely clever with a lot of options. I used to live in the area and come up for visits, lately often. To find this place and take notice that more cool businesses are in Stevens Point (a college town), makes my heart happy. I was here for my little sister's birthday and wanted to get her a cake or something yummy. Since I was too lazy to bake and make a mess at a relatives house, I did some research and found Zest Bakery on Facebook. They don't have a direct website, yet. Her birthday was only a day or so away and was running out on options. I messaged them about a possible cake or cupcake order, expecting for them to tell me that the order date was too soon and would not be able to be fulfilled. Totally wrong. They were so cool and provided me with a list of different flavors of cupcakes and frosting combinations that they could do and said that they would have them ready for the day of my sister's birthday. I ended up doing something a little different and ordered a dozen of earl grey cupcakes with lavender frosting. I wasn't too sure on how the combination was going to work, but it sounded amazing and went for the gamble. Let me say that that was the most amazing thing I have ever tasted! If Earth make a cupcake, this would have been it. The flavors did not overpower each other, they worked in perfect harmony. I think the bakery used natural flavorings ( if not, they fooled me), because it didn't taste fake or synthetic. I managed to take a couple home with me to endure the ride back to Texas.
