This is a long much overdue review, which I've been intending to do about this office, which I simply love everything about it: the nice, clean, neat and well maintained office, the amazing ladies (Martha, Maria and Araceli) at the front desk (whom are always so kind and able to accommodate my appointments' last minute/changes/requests) and the amazing doctors at this office! Dr. Tim Gooing is the doctor whom has been taking care of me since Fall of last year and he's been doing a wonderful job as he's the reason the pains related to my forearm tendonitis, shoulder calcification and lower-back/sciatica have finally been incredibly diminished and literally pretty much almost resolved, which thanks to him I am sure that in a couple of months I will be completely healed and back to my normal self again. Also, thanks to him I can finally exercise again, slowly but surely gaining strength and confidence. So, there's not enough words to express my deepest gratitude to everyone in this office. I would give 1000 stars if possible. Literally, not hyperbole, they have changed my life. I have a genetic connective tissue disorder (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome) and I was in constant pain. I've had 2 cervical fusions and endless lumbar spine injections and nerve ablations and I still couldn't walk, sit, or stand comfortably. After 2 sessions, even my teenage son noticed a difference in me! After a few weeks, I feel like a brand new person. I waited for 52 minutes in a room when patient after patient kept on getting seen before me. I asked why that was and the lady at the front said "oh he had a train to catch" 52 minutes I waited after I was told only one person ahead of me. When your Yelper friend tells you about an amazing doctor at the right moment that you need one, I called this office and asked if I can be seen soon! (Special thanks to my yelp friend Darrell P!) Came here yesturday after feeling some really annoying pain on my lower back/hip area. I really think its because I twisted my back the wrong way after picking up my little 3yr old kid or from my horrible sleeping positions. My biggest worry, "broken bone? Slip disk? Buldging disk? All the possible back issues came to mind!" I called this office right before lunch time. The sweet receptionists informed me that they were closing soon. So I said, Ill call back. She was able to convince the doctor to basically skip a lunch and see me!!! OmG, i didnt realize at that time... Until today... WoW, a doctor gave his lunch break to me. I had the opportunity to see the kind, super informative, and caring doctor, Dr. Gooing. He is young guy but has years of experience in what he does! He even influence his kids to be a chiro and medical field! His passions runs in the family. What makes him different from other chiropractors that I have seen is his intuition. He knows where the pain and tenderness is at. He also took x rays to confirm that I was okay. Its more of an alignment issue. He saw me as a whole person. He also gave me some exercise and recommendations for carpel tunnel. From a the doctors that I have seen from PT and 3 other chiropractors, the stretches he taught me was never introduce before. Im a bit of a slow learner. I did request that he video me on those stretches. And he did. Bottom line: the care you will get from this place is excellent because of the dedication and time that I was given to me on my first visit. The doctor skipped his lunch to see me! When I first started I lived in the Lake Forest area, but moved to Inland Empire in June. I've been going to chiropractors for the last 10+ years and was nervous to start looking for a new one after moving to Orange County in September. I figured I didn't have much to loose, and made an appointment with Dr. Craig (Stutzman) for me and my 2 year old son. During our first appointment, Dr. Stutzman spent a good amount of time with us and asked questions about our medical histories before adjusting us both. We've been going for a few months now and it's been a great experience! The first several times my son cried quite a bit before even getting adjusted, but the last couple of times have been better. I went to Mission Hills Chiropractic thanks to a new patient deal with Living Social, and I have been very impressed by the practice so far. Massage therapy is available, and my masseuse, Tracy, asked good questions and was very attentive to the target areas I requested. (She also used J. R. Watkins massage oil- all natural and aromatic- I really appreciated that.) The room itself was a bit cold, but I let them know and they said they would improve that. Then on to X-rays and follow up. I was seen by Dr. Nardeep Jawanda (Dr. J) who has such a pleasant and accessible manner. He really listened to my history with Chiro care (not great childhood memories...) and my back troubles, and upon returning to MHC to discuss my X-rays, he provided great details on the current state of my skeletal system. I felt comfortable asking any questions that I had. The final thing that impressed me was that he honestly told me that due to my condition (scoliosis with degenerated fused vertebrae) there was not a lot they could do to correct it. I had heard similar diagnoses before, but it speaks very well of MHC that they were not just wanting to score my money without making a difference. Thanks to yelpers I found this office while I was on a business trip and suddenly experience excruciating pain in my back related to some kind of nerve around my ribs. Dr. Oohing adjusted me and I felt better instantly. Of course it didnt last as he said it might not but the relief I had for a few hours was welcomed. The following morning on my way out of town I was in the same pain so I went in and Dr. Stutzman was able to alleviate most of the pain as well. When I got home I found a chiropractor in my area since I haven't been to one in years and we have been slowly working on improving the pain on this slow healing problem. I have to say I've been having back issues since I was a kid and have been to several different chiropractic offices over the years but this is by far the most professional, friendly and helpful office! ALL the staff is exceptionally nice and really care about their patients. I normally see Dr. Gooing, who is amazing and I always have relief in my lower back when I leave but when he isn't there I see Dr. Stetsman. He is also so great! They are very time efficient and you're not there waiting forever. The appointments themselves don't take long either.
