This group of lifeguards have been doing their job since 1912. They volunteer on every Sunday and all Holidays. They are paid some morsels during the week but what young man (and now women) won't love to be a lifeguard. Now when I got in it was a 19 week process of grueling training. Then you were a American Red Cross Lifeguard able to handle many unforeseen dangers. From ocean rescues to minor first aide and some major accidents also. We even had mock disaster training in case of a major emergencies such as hurricanes and even one year a plane crash. We even did a gas station that blew up. So when you see a ARCVLSC life guard you are in really good hands. The men and women in those funny looking uniforms are very dedicated to your safety at the beach and surrounding areas.

We have a precious…read more(ShihTzu) little girl named Princess who desperately needed to be seen by a VET ASAP because I thought she was having a seizure & have bloodwork done due to something she got into. Frantically I called Gina & to my surprise she started making calls for me. Not only did she help find somewhere affordable to take Princess, but stayed in communication w/me the entire trip as well from beginning to end. Even during the VET'S actual visit, to ensure that we received excellent care @11pm at night. Which we did & Princess was able to come home with/a clean bill of health after the scariest night ever! Without Gina walking me through this, idk what I would have done. It's not often that you call a complete stranger & the person on the other end, ends up being an Angel! Gina words truly cannot express to you what you've done for our family. I will certainly not ever forget & will shout from the rooftops that there is certainly still hope for our pets through folks like YOU. P.s. It was funny having pigs under the house sleeping. I sat on the porch and listened to them snore, it was a riot. I've never heard a pig snore. The very best part was the look on my sisters face when she got to do the cow cuddle with the highland cows. It was a special surprise for her. Thank you Elaine for making our visit wonderful. We will be back.

The animals are well taken care of, the people working there are so nice and helpful and booking a highland cow cuddling session was amazing. You can even stay on site if you want that real "outdoorsy" experience - but it's perfect even for a quick day trip. Can't wait to come back again!

She brings joy to our whole family, has become the unofficial mayor of the neighborhood, and is currently campaigning for us to adopt her a cat. Yes, she wants her own cat. She responds to people who visit when they are stressed. She'll quietly sit with them, lean on them, and just be there. She's recognized this in many visitors over the years, it's just amazing. It's a win/win! The church provided lots of home made cookies and punch for everyone after it was over.
