I followed the instructions and dropped my completed samples at a FedEx in the morning on 12/23, but the package wasn't picked up until 12/24 and didn't arrive until 12/27--five days later. Because of this, I was understandably concerned that the samples might no longer be valid. I contacted Genova on 12/27 to ask whether the samples passed their stability / integrity check and whether I would still be charged if the results weren't usable due to the shipping delay. They did not respond until 12/30, and said only to call them. I responded the same day, explaining that I was traveling and unable to call, and asked if they could please provide the information in writing. Since then, I have not received any further response or clarification. This has been frustrating because the test instructions emphasize the importance of overnight shipping and timely handling, yet when I tried to address a delay that was outside my control, the company provided minimal communication and no written follow-up. At a minimum, I expected timely confirmation about whether my sample was usable and whether I would be billed for an invalid test. Based on my experience, I would advise others to exercise caution when dealing with Genova, and I hope Genova improves both their communication and their process for handling time-sensitive specimen issues.

I have passed out several times while giving blood before and she took extra care in getting me set up in a recliner and took the time to really study my veins to make sure she got the best one. And then she talked to me the entire time (I had a pretty good amount that needed to be drawn) and it went great!! I had my blood drawn at Quest a couple of months ago, and it was a complete different experience there! I even left with blood on my clothes after there. Will never go back to Quest. I was there for a urine drug test, and at that point I was on the verge of wetting myself because I had drank a bottle of water prior to arriving. 40ish minutes into my wait I inquired on how long it would be and said I really had to go, and I was told "you have to hold it because our only bathrooms are in the back." Wow, they don't even have public restrooms, which is absurd to me. The woman who helped me with my drug test was friendly enough. I've never had to wait this long for a drug test at any other lab facilities, even as a walk in. Avoid this location if you can.

No need for a receptionist. Waiting room was fine, nothing fancy but clean. Lobotomist lady was super nice and friendly. I had 13 different tests done and I started to receive some of the results in less than 24 hours. Still waiting for 4 more tests which I am sure will arrive shortly. The room I was admitted in was clean as well and I was out of there in less than 15 minutes. The website is easy to navigate, just read and follow the instructions. I found out about Quest via Fullscript after my nutritionist requested the 13 different blood work needed I was scheduled to go to a different quest lab but received an email a few days prior to my appointment to let me know that particular location was closed, and I needed to go to 2 Doctors place in Asheville. I could not reach Quest but contacted Fullscript and they helped me reschedule for the same day and time at the other location.

Post surgery after 3 nights in hospital: Specifically…read moreregarding Dr. Christopher Lindsay and the other doctors and nurses in the OR prep and the OR. I do not advise going home day after surgery. The pain is even harder to manage the first week after surgery than before which had been impossible. They can use medication in the hospital that will not go home with you, and it took that to keep me from crying out in pain. After 3 days, I went home and still took pain medicine before it was time for another dose. My pain simply didn't follow the 4 hour time frame. I followed all directions except taking another does occasionally prior to 4 hours. Sometime before my 2 week check up, I was finally pain free after decades of chronic pain. I don't think that is necessarily totally normal, but it is a welcome change. The worst part of postoperative pain was hip, above knees, and top front groin area of my thighs. That pain was horrible and really hard to manage, so to have relief is incredible to me. I'm extremely grateful. The entire surgical staff at Advent were amazing They knew I was already in extreme pain when I arrived. The made me feel safe and like I mattered. I would definitely choose Dr. Christopher and all of the other doctors who took care of me and kept me calm.

They're dismissive of the Father during births, and do not respect the decisions of the mother. They do not clean their rooms well and many of the staff will say BRB and then not come back for the rest of the day. Wife and I are really wishing we went to a different hospital. We will never be coming here again after this is all said and done. Save your sanity folks

THEN go back to another waiting room and wait an additional hour to be called. Total time waiting easily two hours plus or more. If I'm late, they cancel my appointment, but they can force patients to wait as long as the patient will tolerate. NOT PROFESSIONAL at all. Please go anywhere else that values you as a patient and values your time. Mission no longer cares about patients.
