I was shown into an exam room as soon as I walked in, and I saw Erin, a nurse practitioner; she was empathic, warm, and collaborative. She shared her thoughts and recommendations regarding my options and asked what I wanted to do. We decided on a chest x-ray; she immediately printed out a referral form and they sent me over to Salem Radiology after a minute-long check-out process. When I got home, I was able to log on to ZoomCare to see my visit summary and notes, and there was an option to email the provider if I had any follow-up questions. So glad this place exists - hope I don't need to go again anytime soon, but it's good to know that it's there if needed. 3/20/23 update: I was back with another issue and saw a different practitioner, Joe; had yet another excellent experience (well, as excellent as a visit to urgent care can be). I didn't have child care so brought my toddler along with me, and they were 100% cool with that. I needed a prescription and was dreading rushing to a pharmacy with my daughter and trying to rush back home for work, but they had what I needed on hand, so no extra trip needed! They then sent the pre-authorization for the wrong imaging center so I had a referral for one clinic and a pre-authorization for a different one. I'm still having issues getting them to bill my insurance correctly as I have not received an EOB yet for services done in July. I went in for a blood draw and the medical assistant hadn't prepped supplies before drawing my blood so I sat there holding pressure with a piece of the sterile prep surface while they searched for a cotton ball in a supply closet. Lastly I go to review information and no one had seen or even verified they had access to my MRI they ordered and I had to pull up the results in my phone. They then proceeded to blame the inflammation I'm experiencing on my HRT but with no information other than, "it can do that." I'm just shocked at how bad my experience was. Nothing went right. I was even told I would get a call back from the corporate group regarding issuing a complaint but they have not reached out and every time I call they're in a meeting and unable to discuss. Edit: ten months ago I was told that my bill was being waived due to my experiences with this office. Now a year later they are sending me a bill. Better, since it's over a year since my first date of service it would not be possible to submit to insurance if I wanted to. Every single stage of dealing with this office has been mishandled.
