Doesn't take American Express. Lady went on about their fees. I don't need the story, MC and Visa charge fees too.

My entire visit was under $400 which included blood work and important referrals. For someone paying out of pocket this is a very good value in my opinion. The quality of my experience here contrasts so starkly from other experiences that I really needed to encourage others to consider care here!

ZoomCare fortunately takes my insurance (Providence), so I made an appointment for the next day. I teach communication skills to health care providers so am usually not too impressed when I have to interact with the health care system myself - but I had a great experience at ZoomCare! I was shown into an exam room as soon as I walked in, and I saw Erin, a nurse practitioner; she was empathic, warm, and collaborative. She shared her thoughts and recommendations regarding my options and asked what I wanted to do. We decided on a chest x-ray; she immediately printed out a referral form and they sent me over to Salem Radiology after a minute-long check-out process. When I got home, I was able to log on to ZoomCare to see my visit summary and notes, and there was an option to email the provider if I had any follow-up questions. So glad this place exists - hope I don't need to go again anytime soon, but it's good to know that it's there if needed. 3/20/23 update: I was back with another issue and saw a different practitioner, Joe; had yet another excellent experience (well, as excellent as a visit to urgent care can be). I didn't have child care so brought my toddler along with me, and they were 100% cool with that. I needed a prescription and was dreading rushing to a pharmacy with my daughter and trying to rush back home for work, but they had what I needed on hand, so no extra trip needed! (Note that it's not a fully-stocked pharmacy - the last time I was there they didn't have the OTC and prescription stuff I needed, but fortunately they did this time.)

After the hold I was told I couldn't be seen by urgent care at all. Because they don't have the proper equipment to treat it. I would have to go to the E.R. To be treated. I've had mastitis before and have never needed equipment for treatment. I just needed confirmation and antibiotics. So if you're a person who thinks they have mastitis. Don't bother coming here for treatment they won't even see you. I could give them a zero star rating I would.

I asked about an antibiotic to keep me from getting a lung infection from being sick currently, she refused and said I needed to have my cough at least 6 days. She refused to give me a cough medication because according to her, and I quote, "they don't work anyway". I do not recommend anyone to see her. The office staff are great, Jordan McDonald not so much UPDATE.... I NOW HAVE PNEUMONIA. IF SHE WOULD HAVE LISTENED TO ME AND GAVE ME THE ANTIBIOTICS AS I ASKED FOR INITIALLY, I WOULDNT BE FIGHTING TO BREATHE OR HAVE PNEUMONIA.

And while urgent cares…read morehave generally fallen into a mediocre category compared to other treatment centers, SwiftCare has set the new standard for all other urgent cares to live up to. The office is pristine, well-designed, and maintains reliable hours. The care, however, is what sets this place apart from any other. The staff, nurses, and physicians during my visit were so incredibly attentive, empathetic, and helpful. The service was truly unparalleled by any similar clinic that I have ever been to. Additionally, their pricing for out-of-pocket patients is reasonable, which rarely exists in the medical field at all in America. ZoomCare, a local competitor, charges at least twice as much for subpar care. If you're in need of urgent care, this is the place to receive it. Truly a five-star experience.

In the course of my job, I was injured via a needle stick. I went to Zoom care who was fantastic and they handled the Workmen's Comp claim with total ease I never got a bill. However, LabCorp is absolute freaking trash when it comes to this. I have updated no less than five times the Workmen's Comp claim information in my own portal. I've also reached out to LabCorp via the only way to contact them on their website, at least four times. Guess how many responses I received? One. And that was after the third inquiry. And this is how they were helpful, they asked for "a workers compensation statement". What does that even mean? Is it just me saying yes this is a Workmen's Comp claim? Is it a billing statement? I don't know what this is supposed to mean! They are the most useless and unhelpful organization I have ever had to deal with. Whatever you do, do not use LabCorp whether you are a provider or a patient. Their service is absolute trash. Cliché, but if I could give them less than one star I would. I would give them -5 stars.
