Don't advertise that you are able to fix electronics if you can't. They are just a "safelite" for iPhones. And they give off the impression that you are bothering them with your business. read more

Posted for the other locations, too, but posting here for visibility. After a saga that lasted nearly eight months during which my device was broken by them in little ways, these jerks INTENTIONALLY broke my iPad mini beyond all repair. I'm not kidding -- see the photos I've uploaded. My iPad had a small crack in its glass. I sent it off to Mission:Repair in February and received an email a couple of weeks later saying that they had broken some logic board connector and it would be four to six weeks (!) before they could fix that and return it to me. Fine. I started grumbling about it about a month later. It was April before I received it back. No offer to compensate me for the repair charge. Getting in touch with these people is like pulling teeth. Multiple phone calls, emails, etc. -- it all goes unanswered. (The manager Lennie must be "out for lunch" about 95% of the time.) When it came back, the home button was inexplicably replaced with a non-OEM button, there was a ripple effect on the screen, and the screen registered phantom touches. I sent it back but not before waiting several weeks to get a label and hear back from these people as to which of their locations to send it to. It comes back several weeks later and the jittery screen is fixed, but the screen still has a noticeable ripple on it. I send a few emails and try to get in touch with them about fixing this, but no dice. Whatever. I decide to live with it. That is, until a couple of months later, when I try using the iSight camera which, turns out, is blurry beyond all use. I call them (repeatedly) and finally (after several weeks of trying) arrange to have it sent in. I'm told it's an easy fix, no problem. So I sent it in yet another time about six weeks ago. Not a peep until a couple of weeks ago. I'm reassured that my device is their "highest priority" and everything, and that they hadn't tended to my device sooner because I had requested it to be shipped back to my better half's work and weren't aware it was mine. (Bull.) I'm also told that they think the logic board has something wrong with it (again) and to please bear with them, they want to make it right, etc. Well, it came back today. There is absolutely no way that damage like this is accidental. You could drop it onto concrete from any person's reach and it wouldn't be damaged like that. There is absolutely no way this damage happened in transit (the box is fine). These jerks intentionally broke my iPad beyond repair and shipped it back to me. It's galling. Especially if you're not local, don't send anything here. Moral of the story: it's less expensive to deal with Apple or a local shop. It's not worth saving the $10. Learn from my mistake and don't give these thugs one more cent. read more

These guys have a little different spin on the whole iPhone repair business. Most only offer to fix your phone but they offer that or the tools for you to fix the phone yourself. I was having troubles with my iPhone power button and rather than pay for the $80 repair opted to buy the repair tools from them ($12 for the whole set!). I can't give a review of how their service is as I've never taken anything to be repaired, but it's nice to have a business that is willing to help rather than just make a huge profit of a ten minute cracked screen repair from when you were in a drunken stupor. The only reason I rate them down is access to the store is horrible right now with construction on Johnson Dr. I had to go through a couple alleys and jump a couple retaining walls to get to the front door (no joke) read more

Is it possible to give 0 stars. Worst customer service experience ever. I dropped off my iPad for them to repair the screen. After they fixed it, my iPad would not work. After weeks of trying to contact them and no one returning the call including the manager they finally agreed to replace my iPad with a refurbished iPad from China or something ridiculous like that. Then that refurbished iPad didn't work either. Weeks later they finally replaced it again with another refurbished iPad. I went about 2 months without my iPad and it was impossible to get a straight answer from Mission Repair. I even dealt with both locations. So finally after getting a working refurbished iPad, the screen on it broke and I just gave up and bought a new iPad. If you value your electronic devices, do not bring them to mission repair. read more

I've been here twice now. The first time, my iPhone wasn't charging. Turns out I had pocket link in the charging port. He cleaned it out and didn't charge me. Second time, I took my wife's Samsung Galaxy S5 in to see about replacing the cracked screen. Same guy said it would be around $200 ($204, I believe, is what he quoted) for the part alone, and, honestly, he could if I really wanted but he recommended it would probably be more worth it to get a new one, since the S5 is several generations old. (I paid $200 for the phone.) So, I've been here twice, and neither time have I given him money. I like that in a business. read more

Because of a recommendation from a friend I took my iMac to Mission Repair to let them look at an email problem I was experiencing. So disappointed. After visiting two different "medics" about the time sensitive nature of my fix I called Mission Repair and spoke with Ken(t)? who told me they had the part needed to replace my cracked iPad mini screen and assured me they could have it done the next day. I drove the 30 minutes to get there right away, dropped off the iPad, confirmed the delivery date and expressed the time sensitive need (leaving town). All seemed to be well. I went to pick it up today and it not only wasn't done but they hadn't even tried. Sorry they said. Don't know why they told you that. (?!) They wasted my time, my gas money and pulled me away from a 65th birthday party to pick up a broken device that they never should have accepted if they couldn't get it done. Never again. read more

It all started with a cracked iPad mini screen and 2 1/2 months later still don't have a functioning iPad. The fact that they've ordered 1 replacement, refurbished, nonfunctioning iPad, has me furious about the offer of ORDERING 2nd refurbished iPad. Often told, "we'll call you back." LOLOLOLOL!!! Service has gone down hill since ownership change. After several weeks, called to check on part status, dropped ball and reordered part. When part was in I called to get confirmation repair could be made in the afternoon, when on site, service refused and had to wait until next day. I took my iPhone 6 in for microphone repair. The store was not busy and they were able to complete the service a under 1 hour, very nice. But, after paying $90, I could not tell a difference in the microphone volume. I'm sure they exchanged it but, it didn't fix the problem. read more

I have used Mission Repair twice in the last year and will continue to use them in the future. Both times I found their service techs to be very courteous and knowledgeable. Last summer, I brought in my husband's Samsung tablet that had a cracked screen. It was definitely cheaper to replace the screen than to buy another one. I was pleased with the price they charged and I haven't had a problem with it since. Today I brought in a laptop that when turned on, it had a loud humming noise. I was prepared to leave it. Dustin, offered to look at it if I had a few minutes to wait. He found a piece of paper in the fan and the problem was solved. Within 15 minutes I was on my way. He didn't charge me a dime. This place is a joke, took my phone to repair a cracked screen and got my phone back with a charging issue that had previously not existed. The rep of course blamed it on an IOS issue. Of course he told me I can't take it back to apple, almost in a darlingly sort of way. Anyways, you get what you pay. My first experience with Mission repair in Olathe, KS was great. I wish I had had received half the service this week from their Mission, KS location. I left my phone with them last Saturday to have the screen of my iPhone 6 replaced only to be called a couple hours later to be told they would not have the screen until Monday. I honestly didn't expect to give them the chance for the repair on Monday until they called to say they had the screen and would be open until 7pm. We showed up at 5pm (15 mins after their call) just to be told the only person with experience fixing iPhone 6's had left for the day. read more

Horrible customer service and their attitude was very belittling and just flat out rude. I came in to ask for a refund because the screen caused my phone to overheat which resulted into my phone being unusable. The cause was their flex cables they used to connect the screen to the logic board. This one guy kept saying at first that they are not able to give me a refund if the screen itself isn't causing the problem. But my receipt explicitly said, 'if I'm not satisfied, I can get a refund as long as it's returned within 30 days'. And I said I just want them to take off the new screen and put my old one back on it so I can ship it and get a replacement instead. But the employee said, 'we do not have your old screen anymore so we cannot give you a refund'. Keep in mind I came in only a few days after getting it 'repaired.' Then I said that's not what their return policy says. The worker had the audacity to laugh and say, 'Well...it's not exactly specified what the specifics is.' At this point I was speechless. And they kept making several reasons as to why they couldn't give me a refund while having a smug look on their face. And I would catch them belittling me at times. I only came to this location because it was more convenient for me and was only 5 mins away. Never will I come to this business ever again due to how they treated me and their poor customer service. read more

BE AWARE! I went to this place because it has a higher review wanting to get an estimate on how much it is to get a battery replacement, the technian took 5 minutes to examine it, and told me the price is higher cause it's alienware and the battery is hard to took out, I want to take some time to decide so I took it home, and when I took it out at home there it is, 3 scratches on the top of my laptop, and that's probably why the guy hand it back to me with the laptop facing down. Call them on the phone they won't admit it and suggested that it is scratched in my backpack, because you know, the fabric in a backpack can scratch a laptop so hard, and they hung up on me.Yep, there it goes, I end up with 3 scratches on my Alienware I took great care of for 2 years. I am outraged. Seriously, if they didn't scratch my laptop, then probably the aliens did. If you value your stuff, don't go there, if you wanna go there, be sure to record everything when you stepped into the store, cause they won't admit anything if they scratched your device. read more
