Either the shop was recommended or we just walked in; regardless my son is happy with his barber. The shop is located right off IL 159 and Ashland in the shopping center (same side as the car wash). They have 5-7 barbers and a few beauticians. This review is mainly about the barbers, I've never used their beautician services. I normally don't seat and wait for my son to get his hair cut but when I do it's not a bad experience. It can be a long wait depending on the day and time. I try not to go on a weekend day (Friday-Saturday). Between the television and/or the barber shop conversation, it makes the time go by. They do accept appointments ($5 extra) but most of their clientele are walk ins. Unlike other barber shops; they're open on Sunday's. Best to go in and find the right barber for you and your needs. Everyone has a different technic. At the end of the day... As long as we're staying in the area, we will definitely go back.

On June 11, 2026, I was in urgent need of a trim since I had plans the following day. While searching online, I came across this barbershop. I had only ever trusted two barbers in the past, so trying somewhere new was a bit outside my comfort zone. However, both of my usual barbers were unavailable at the time, and it was already around 7 PM, so I decided to give this place a chance. I'm extremely glad I did. The experience exceeded my expectations, and the results were exactly what I had been looking for. My hair went from flat and thick to a well-textured, styled cut that looks great and is much easier to manage. A special thank you to Marlana for the excellent work--I truly appreciate it. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning in the future.

The lady Denise who was supposed to cut my hair was very rude right when I got there. She said they only have 20 minute windows to do your hair for regular cuts but never asked me about that. She sat me down in the chair, put the cape on then told me she couldn't cut my hair, cause "it would take too long" even though no one else was at there establishment. Overall very unprofessional. And would not recommend this place to anyone. Today was my birthday and I couldn't even get my haircut. If I could leave a -100 star review I would.
