Nice ice cream and great selection of flavors. By great selection of flavors, I mean pistaccio and matcha(green tea). These two are my favorite flavors yet it's difficult to encounter a place that have both of these flavors!

A great selection of ice cream flavors and open late! Two of the best things, especially if you're on the Spanish schedule where dinner ends around 11. Service was fast, and it's conveniently located in a busy/touristy area as well. Each flavor comes with an additional topping too :)

This place caught my attention because it has a great selection of diary free vegan ice cream. The vegan ice cream here is rich, creamy, and flavorful, definitely beats a lot of other places I've tried. The atmosphere is very trendy and there is a huge lounge area downstairs, which was a nice break from walking around all day. Service was great, the staff spoke English. We even met another tourist here from Toronto!

Went to this place after researching for best ice cream in Madrid. It was indeed the best ice cream we went to in Madrid. The shop is impeccably clean and the interior is more of something you would find in the states. I loved the rustic decor and they more seating than usual ice cream shops. Now onto the ice cream. They have a good selection of classic flavors like chocolate, hazelnut, and pistachio and a couple non-so classic flavors. I'm always a sucker for both chocolate and hazelnut and it didn't disappoint. It was so creamy and rich. One thing this shop does differently is they add toppings, jams, and syrups to your ice cream. Think Cold Stone Creamery. My ice cream was so good the way it was, I didn't care to mix anything in but my friend mixed some orange jam into her chocolate and it was pretty good. Conveniently my friend was going to Madrid 2 weeks after my trip and asked for recommendations. He went here and agreed that Mistura's ice cream was really good. Highly recommend! Also, they have free wifi and non-ice cream on the menu like freshly squeezed juice, hot chocolate and desserts.

I had been drooling over this place ever since I found them on Yelp when I was doing my research before we left. It was some of the creamiest & most delicious ice cream my tongue has ever licked. The Chocolate Intenso is just that. It's an intense punch of dark chocolate flavor that this chocoholic was craving. With a large handful of flavors and two large handfuls of toppings to choose from, you can try any sort of combination your heart desires. Most of the scoopers seemed to speak English. The one assisting us was super nice & made recommendations on what flavors tended to be favorite combinations. I'm glad we didn't find them until our last night in the city because I would have been here multiple times a day.

after a day of tourist (aka a long day on foot), I should drink some water.... or cold ice-cream?? This was quick and easy, they do ice-cream + a topping (any topping). I had strawberry toppings (jam-like) with my hazelnut ice-cream. It was delicious! Very soft, smooth, and creamy. wifi + great staff. definitely recommend!!

Finally found the best ice cream in town. Preparation is very interesting and place is very cool. They have 3 shops- this, in New balance in Gran Via and next to Plaza Mayor. But this one is my favorite. Good waffles but pistachio ice cream with brownie and nuts it's the best!

"Coldstone but for gelato" was the phrase we came up with when speaking with one of the owners. You get a free topping - of course I went with pistachios in pistachio ice cream. Kind of like the philosophy of flavoring beef with beef bullion - pure success. These guys have traveled a good deal and hold up in English conversation, and the prices are about what you'd expect of a boutique ice cream shop in Chueca.

Nothing special. Just an average ice-cream you can buy in a supermarket. If you are close by to this place it is ok, but it is not worth a special trip if you are far away.

The ice cream here was sooo good. Perfect taste and perfect texture. The place itself was really cute and the worker who served us was extremely nice.

    Yum!

It is funny, several months later, one of the last reviews I have to write for a trip that was now…read moreseveral months ago... one of the first places I stopped that trip, on our way to Portugal by way of an intentionally several day long "layover" in Madrid. I'm not normally a breakfast person, but, well, a lot changes when I'm on vacation, especially in cities so known for their food, and more specifically, their coffee and pastries. They do have a slightly confusing system for ordering - at least when I was there, the pastries are in the front and ordered individually from there, like a bakery, but if you're getting drinks to drink there, you have to sit down and wait for a waiter, then if you're getting both, get up again to buy pastries, which they will then put on your open tab. Thankfully, everyone spoke perfect English, so it was an easy enough explanation and process - still a bit weird though. And we still got our coffee orders in like 3 minutes. Coffee-wise, we tried their fancy "Dubai matcha latte", which was... very good, super flavorful, just slightly sweet (it came with a sugar packet if you wanted it sweeter, which it definitely didn't need to be.) Not sure it justified, to me personally, being so much more expensive than all the extremely affordable, less "specialty" drinks, but it was very good. Also a "bombon", a drink word I also learned that day, and then was sad when I didn't see it on the menus at any of the other coffee shops I stopped at, because it was quite good, and, again, also quite cheap. *Super* sweet, obviously, but great. (I was amused that that one *also* came with a sugar packet, which it *definitely* didn't need.) I also tried their chocolate croissant, which, yeah, wonderful. Their pastries are a bit pricier than the coffee drinks, but the croissant melts in your mouth, great chocolate, tons of it, and not, as is often the case with otherwise good chocolate croissants, only in the center. Chocolate actually everywhere. A great croissant. Would definitely be back here often, if I weren't thousands of miles away, normally.

My Airbnb host recommended this place and it is one of the best bakeries I've ever tried! Their…read moreservice was very quick and they had a beautiful interior. Where they really shine is their baked goods. I highly recommend the chocolate croissant with a coffee! I should've went here every day on my vacation. My only regret is not going early on my trip so I can go there everyday!
