A great selection of ice cream flavors and open late! Two of the best things, especially if you're on the Spanish schedule where dinner ends around 11. Service was fast, and it's conveniently located in a busy/touristy area as well. Each flavor comes with an additional topping too :)

Nice ice cream and great selection of flavors. By great selection of flavors, I mean pistaccio and matcha(green tea). These two are my favorite flavors yet it's difficult to encounter a place that have both of these flavors!

This place caught my attention because it has a great selection of diary free vegan ice cream. The vegan ice cream here is rich, creamy, and flavorful, definitely beats a lot of other places I've tried. The atmosphere is very trendy and there is a huge lounge area downstairs, which was a nice break from walking around all day. Service was great, the staff spoke English. We even met another tourist here from Toronto!

Went to this place after researching for best ice cream in Madrid. It was indeed the best ice cream we went to in Madrid. The shop is impeccably clean and the interior is more of something you would find in the states. I loved the rustic decor and they more seating than usual ice cream shops. Now onto the ice cream. They have a good selection of classic flavors like chocolate, hazelnut, and pistachio and a couple non-so classic flavors. I'm always a sucker for both chocolate and hazelnut and it didn't disappoint. It was so creamy and rich. One thing this shop does differently is they add toppings, jams, and syrups to your ice cream. Think Cold Stone Creamery. My ice cream was so good the way it was, I didn't care to mix anything in but my friend mixed some orange jam into her chocolate and it was pretty good. Conveniently my friend was going to Madrid 2 weeks after my trip and asked for recommendations. He went here and agreed that Mistura's ice cream was really good. Highly recommend! Also, they have free wifi and non-ice cream on the menu like freshly squeezed juice, hot chocolate and desserts.

I had been drooling over this place ever since I found them on Yelp when I was doing my research before we left. It was some of the creamiest & most delicious ice cream my tongue has ever licked. The Chocolate Intenso is just that. It's an intense punch of dark chocolate flavor that this chocoholic was craving. With a large handful of flavors and two large handfuls of toppings to choose from, you can try any sort of combination your heart desires. Most of the scoopers seemed to speak English. The one assisting us was super nice & made recommendations on what flavors tended to be favorite combinations. I'm glad we didn't find them until our last night in the city because I would have been here multiple times a day.

after a day of tourist (aka a long day on foot), I should drink some water.... or cold ice-cream?? This was quick and easy, they do ice-cream + a topping (any topping). I had strawberry toppings (jam-like) with my hazelnut ice-cream. It was delicious! Very soft, smooth, and creamy. wifi + great staff. definitely recommend!!

Finally found the best ice cream in town. Preparation is very interesting and place is very cool. They have 3 shops- this, in New balance in Gran Via and next to Plaza Mayor. But this one is my favorite. Good waffles but pistachio ice cream with brownie and nuts it's the best!

"Coldstone but for gelato" was the phrase we came up with when speaking with one of the owners. You get a free topping - of course I went with pistachios in pistachio ice cream. Kind of like the philosophy of flavoring beef with beef bullion - pure success. These guys have traveled a good deal and hold up in English conversation, and the prices are about what you'd expect of a boutique ice cream shop in Chueca.

Nothing special. Just an average ice-cream you can buy in a supermarket. If you are close by to this place it is ok, but it is not worth a special trip if you are far away.

The ice cream here was sooo good. Perfect taste and perfect texture. The place itself was really cute and the worker who served us was extremely nice.

    Yum!

Based on the definitive opinions of travel vloggers, this appeared to be the place to get the fabled chocolate con churros. Jamie W and I made our way here through the labyrinth of streets near Puerta del Sol. It was early evening so no surprise there was a queue, but it moved quickly because this historic place was a model of efficiency. It's the type of place where you need to be ready to order the moment you're in front of the hostess. Luckily, we had made mental notes of what to order from one particular vlogger, so we were ready. It only took a minute to secure one of their marble cafe tables. Our order arrived fairly quickly. It consisted of a 2,5€ plate of Churros, six long sticks of chewy, delicious dough. Unlike the Mexican version, it wasn't dusted with sugar because the 3,7€ cup of Hot Chocolate was more than enough (Photo 8). Incredibly rich and only lightly sweetened. The churros might've been enough for a neophyte, but we double-downed with a 2,5€ order of two Porros (Photo 7). Porras are a thicker, doughier version of churros, so of course, they were our favorites because they really held the chocolate with assurance. Even though we went through two cups of hot chocolate, we still had 2,4€ cups of Cafes con Leche to wash it all down (Photo 10). It was an ideal dessert experience because who doesn't love awesome doughnuts? Definitely a must-gorge when in Madrid. I've tried their oolong milk tea and their strawberry cheese foam drink. I've also had samples of the egg puff waffles. The oolong milk tea is decent for Madrid standards. It gets the job done and I think the only one on par with it is ZenZoo's. However, I think Eggofre specializes more on its slushes and desserts. Their strawberry cheese foam drink is a bit like Happy Lemon's, but less salty. It's thick and I prefer drinking it by taking off the lid and sipping so I get a combination of both cheese and slush. The strawberry flavor is so refreshing. At 6 euros, the drink itself is quite expensive, but I saw that they have a deal that's 8 euros for a strawberry cheese foam drink AND a strawberry egg puff waffle. As for the waffle, I think it's quite light and perfectly textured! It's great to share and there's so many customization options. I've had waffles elsewhere that had flat textures, but this one is squishy and holds the ingredients together well. Cheese foam and egg puff waffles are definitely a niche treat for Madrid.
