Strawberry and mango flavor, with white chocolate chips and fresh strawberry

Looking for a cold dessert place and stumbled upon this. The flavors are refreshing and you taste the fresh ingredients. Both the strawberry and mango flavors were really refreshing. We opted for the fresh strawberry and white chocolate chips toppings to be rolled in and incorporated. Pass on the white chocolate chips as they didn't add any flavor at all besides a texture difference. For the size of the serving it was not as fulfilling as I hoped (we shared unfortunately) and was smaller than expected. Nevertheless, still a good spot in Plaza Mayor to try.

We got the pistachio and coconut flavours They were delicious They come with one topping per scoop There is a nice sitting area down the stairs The pistachio in particular is VERY nice They can chop your toppings into the ice cream for you, but we chose to get them on top Centrally located Would recommend!!!

Came here for some ice cream dessert after dinner. Tried their pistachio and yogurt ice cream with matcha cake and brownies topping. They mixed the toppings into the ice cream in front of you. Both flavors tasted good but the pistachio flavor was on the lighter side. Great tasting ice cream. They spoke good english and they also have a cafe menu for coffees, shakes, and crepes.

Going to enjoy this cup of perfection while people watching in Plaza Mayor

Mistura was recommended to me by my awesome Devour tour guide so we made time to pop in on this beautiful warm day. There was a good selection of flavors but I decided on vanilla with cookies mixed in for my son and walked over to Plaza Mayor for some people watching while enjoying our very delicious treat. I don't know why but ice cream is just a million times better in Europe- even the store bought stuff is amazing. It's just super creamy and not overly sweet. Anyway, Mistura is definitely worth a stop. They have a few locations throughout the city but if you're in Plaza Mayor it's located in the alley that leads to the amazing San Miguel Mercado. Oh and they also have fresh pressed juices! Had I not had 2 glasses of tinto de verano before stopping in, I would have had one of their juices.

Yum! Just outside of plaza mayor selling sorbet and ice cream (and coffee). The ice cream is so delicious. I had the medium - pistachio and hazelnut for 3.96 euros. The perfect match and amazing nutty pistachio and sweet and nutty hazelnut. Creamy and good ice cream. Service was great and he spoke perfect English.

Best ice cream in Madrid!!!! Very friendly staff, generous portions. The "toppings"/mix ins are included depending on the size you choose.

Coffee is priced well and the waffle with ice cream came out to about 7 euro so both were less than 10 euro. Waffle was made fresh and so good! Small seating that faces the street so you can sit and more seating downstairs. Spoke English and was very helpful!

Great service, great quality food and coffee. We loved the waffles and ice cream! We will come back and give the Crêpes a try. And we like the fact that this place has its own chocolate sauce instead of selling the ones of known brands.

Just good cups of cafe con leche

Been to their first shop near Fuencarral, and there I usually got my green tea fix. Now I found them on Plaza Mayor with slightly "cooler and bigger" local. You'll love the underground "cave" to pass time. Ordered goffre chocolate con naranja and I was excited. Why? Cause I didn't expect them to serve the "belgian" style waffle a.k.a the big ones. I half expected they'd put out the small and too sweet goffre. So, I was pleasantly surprised

Must gets include - jamón ibérico from Puesto Carrasco Ibéricos - olives and vermut from The Hour of the Vermouth - wine from Pinkleton & Wine - codfish from La Casa del Bacalao There's also a Spanish omelet vendor but it was okay. Don't get me wrong - they do indeed have a whole bunch of food vendors that all looked extremely good. Some of them were tourist-priced (ok, a majority of them were tourist-priced), but none of them looked *bad*, just not *necessarily* worth the price, when you could go any number of places nearby and get food as good, for cheaper. But there were definitely some hidden gems, including one absolutely wonderful tapas place that we ordered a bunch of little tostas from, of all different sorts, that we were absolutely impressed by and happy with all of. And of course, the vendor I had originally been most excited about, La Hora del Vermut, which does indeed offer both very inexpensive, great "house" vermouth, and very affordable fancy vermouths. I would've loved to hang out at a bar like that... if I could do so and also *move*. See, the thing is... this market is absolutely not big enough for all its accolades. As Yogi Berra may or may not have ever said, "No one goes there nowadays, it's too crowded." At least I probably wouldn't ever go back there... we could barely hear to order tapas at the tapas place, and good luck finding a place to eat if you're not taking it to go. Good luck actually making it to one of the vendors further away from the entrance, either. It was an absolute madhouse, so we ordered a bunch of tostas at once, I braved the insanity to get a couple glasses of vermouth and met my wife outside the actual market to eat them on the steps. And that was the *off* season - if it's like that in January, I could only imagine it in May! Great vendors, but as a market, they really need better crowd management / foot traffic control.

Everything here is "organic," "natural," or "healthy" and, therefore, should alert you to what you're walking into. I say all that not because it's disgusting. I honestly think you should know what you're walking into. They serve everything from coffees to smoothies to milkshakes to breakfast items. The coffee is good. You can order all types of specialty coffees with cream and add-ins. Smoothies are their specialty, but the milkshakes leave much to be desired (personal note, if you want a milkshake, go somewhere else; their milkshakes are more like milk water). The breakfast items such as their breakfast bowls are delicious. Packed with fresh fruit and natural ingredients, these bowls are perfect when fresh. Warning do not get these bowls to go or delivered. They tend to "melt" and become watery during transportation. Nevertheless, if you have to order to-go or delivery, they are still good just not as good. Overall, this is not a horrible place. If you're in the mood for "natural" food, this is your place.
