The next time you're there simply inquire about it or just ask to use the sink that right behind the front desk. Another little tid bit that customers should look into is the owner and her criminal history, including litigation that is going on currently. This is not a civil case and it is a very recent indictment. The facts there are also a concern when it comes to the health and safety of your beloved pet.

This type of environment may not work for every dog, depending on their circumstances. Safety will always come first, for your dog and for others. However, the staff does an exceptional job working with every single dog who comes through the door. Caring for the dogs as though they are our own and building a strong bond with many of them, I personally will be back to visit and spend some time with them when I can. Kris was a phenomenal boss to work for and helped me in many ways that I am forever grateful for. In an environment like this, with as many as over 100 dogs some days, it may not be the easiest job. This was only our second time taking our two Yorkies to a boarder. The first time at a different…read morekennel was terrible as they both were vomiting blood due to stress uclers when we picked them up. This time was the same length of stay, but they have shown no issues or illness several days after picking them up. The kennel let us tour in advance so we could see the set up and different areas. They had an area for big dogs, small dogs, and the frufru room for teacup dogs. The big and little sections had guillotine doors so they could go outside. The kennel sent us text and picture updates while we were on vacation so we had some peace of mind. The pups shared a kennel space in the small dog section and reportedly enjoyed barking and running along the fence with the neighbor schnauzer. We were able to send them with a mat, blanket, wet and dry food, as well as treats. Vaccines are required. The bedding also needs to be washable. Overall we will use them if we go away again.

The receptionist said she didn't have any openings that day, but would call me if there was a cancel. Sure enough, they called that same day. I was so impressed with the staff and the routine for recording a new patient. They were so sweet and friendly. Dr. Jeff Shields recognized the polyp and froze it, then sniped it off. My dog was calm and seemed to be in love with him and everyone else there. Dr. Shields was kind, explained everything, including his views on care of teeth, and gave me good information about the Westie breed. This is my 3rd Westie in 35 years, so we were able to agree on everything. He is incredibly well informed! The cost for the visit was very affordable, and being retired for 20 years, I am grateful for that!
