She has a GREAT sense of humor, keeps you laughing while doing a terrific exam. Brenda helps you find just that right pair of frames for your face. She can tell if the nose piece and arm length will fit you properly.She'll have you try as many different frames as needed to make you walk out happy!!! If your not happy you go back and they'll make you happy with your purchase. Wasn't happy with the lens for our sunglasses and she let us change them even took us outside to look at the sun to make sure we were happy!!! I have been with community eye care a few years. 3 weeks ago I placed an order for my daily…read morecontacts, I called today to ask them to email or fax me a copy of the receipt as FSA is requiring verification. I was told they were not set up to email or fax me a copy of my receipt. I was told I could come by and get one. When I informed her that I work an hour away and don't get back in town until 8pm. She states they work through lunch (like how does that even help me). What business in 2024 doesn't use technology and unable to accommodate their patience. Needless to say, I will not be returning!. AON, the sinks that they ask you to wash your hand at before using contacts, hasn't been cleaned in years... This is beyond pathetic. When they move one patient out and another in to the exam rooms, they DO NOT sanitize the equipment. Lazy!!! Please visit elsewhere.....

Front staff was incredibly kind and helpful in picking out frames. They did a wonderful job getting…read moreme in and helping me out. The exam itself was rushed and the doctor had horrible manners. He decided to interrupt while trying to share my eye medical history (military, so it's hard to establish long term care with one eye doctor) and instead said, "What was your actual question?" He proceeded to explain to me how an eye exam worked with looking through the lenses which was condescending because I just told him I wore glasses since I was 14. I struggle getting a good prescription due to wearing bifocals my whole life and instead of listening to me or helping me, he said "You are too young for bifocals. That's unusual to do at your age." Respectfully, having the ability to see is more important than accepting the opinion of someone who barely tried to help me. He also is uneducated on what Tricare insurance covers, because I have never been told or have had to pay to get a prescription for contacts during an eye exam and he said it was a $99 fee to even be looked at. Not true. They've covered my exam and prescription fees for everything, I just have to pay for the glasses and contacts myself. The exam was two clicks. That is literally it. He did one level of checking for each of my eyes on what is normally "Is 1 or 2 better". He instead said "tell me when it's not bad anymore" one time for each eye and then dilated, and he judged me for wanting to contact my husband because I am unable to see after dilation. After dilation, he sent me to look at frames. As mentioned, I am pretty much blind when I'm dilated so as much as the staff could help, I still had to play the guessing game and hold one of my glasses lenses up to one eye to see what they kind of look like. When I picked out lenses, we went back in, and he told me my eyes looked good and I'm farsighted with astigmatism (thanks for telling me something I already knew). Overall, I rarely post reviews but I think this doctor really needs to be kinder to his patients and actually listen to what they're trying to say, especially if you know 0% of their medical history. Additionally, when my glasses are ready, if the prescription is incorrect, I am going to request a refund completely and find somewhere new. I cannot tell people to avoid this place enough.

He said glasses would not help. 18 months later, saw a new doctor who diagnosed me correctly and told me glasses would help my driving.oh and by the way, there is no diabetic damage. I gave him two stars because he has an awesome staff.

Booked an appointment with their optometrist 5 weeks ago.Showed up for appointment and there was a…read morelady in front of me checking in.She was told that her appointment had been canceled and that they tried to contact her via call text and email. I said to myself that sucks as she left the store.I stepped up and said I was there for my appointment and guess what,yep I got the same treatment. They are liars,no missed call ,no text and no email.She had the nerve to ask me if I would like to reschedule. These frauds will never get a dollar from me.

Once I arrived at 1800 made contact with Rodston he started searching for my Oakley Two Face. He found the lens not the frames, he asked me for my frames told him you'll have my frames. He stated all they sent us was the lens. Mistakes happen that's not the problem. The problem is when a customer calls and ask you to check because they are coming 45 mins away get off your lazy butt and check. This all could've been avoided if someone had checked for me like I asked. Customer service is a thing of the pass for this very reason. Laziness!
