i am absolutely amazed at how much Dr Luke and his staff are able to help me. i have been to see…read morephysicians in reputable name places but thought, 'i will see if a chiropractor an help me with me knee.' It's about the best decision i ever made. i looked on the website and found it very helpful, even to the degree that almost anyone could take something informative from it even if you decided not to enlist their services. i got there and i thought 'okay, this guy looks like an athlete; i think he'll understand me.' Dr Luke did more than another MD I previously saw. i just believe chiropractors are used to manipulating tissue and finding what is really going on with someone 's anatomy like muscle knots, pulls, inflammation, etc. They even have an X-ray and Dr Luke delivered a QUICK interpretation and answered all my questions with THOROUGH and quick answers that i could understand. It's just nice to go in to see a doctor and in 15 minutes have an X-ray done as part of the same visit and get the interpretation right then and there and make a PLAN. We came up with a plan for my knee that was much more intuitive than the other physician's plan which was to only prescribe physical therapy. He has staff who give THERAPEUTIC DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE which is coupled with CUPPING. Even the massage therapist was clinician-minded and gave a lot of information. The whole spectrum of care is awesome and even PARKING was convenient! And, i don't have health insurance. Paying out-of-pocket is okay! Very affordable. i just started working again and i felt i caught a huge break. The office has other modalities that are very helpful in rolling and stretching tissue out so i can roll muscle knots out, stretch muscles, ligaments, etc and increase circulation! After using a muscle roller 'stick', i was able to go shoot around on the court after using for two minutes. i felt instant relief. I bought another one from another retailer, in my search for answers, but the one I purchased at Proctor delivers the fastest relief. i don't mean to carry on with such a wordy review but i was thinking of switching professions because i 'run the floor' in a hospital and healthcare can be demanding. i started going to the gym and i couldn't resist picking up basketball again, and that's when i found out there was something wrong with my left leg. My leg is getting stronger. i can't sprint and go 'full go' like i used to, but i have less pain now and i can stay in my profession. I can take the stairs now and just going to the chiropractor has taught me what to look for and how to take care of myself. So, it does take time. i haven't been able to run full court since like, 2010? Getting old sucks. Getting old with a bum leg and knee pain is even worse. i feel i can fight my way back. We will see. Before you go in, think of EVERYTHING. Does you knee click? Is there swelling? Is your knee warm to the touch? Does it feel numb after work shift? Is knee stiff? Is it weak? Do you feel your leg is going to give? Unstable? Is it sore? Hard time going upstairs and downstairs stepping onto a curb? Think of everything. i may be one of the lucky ones. i thought i was headed towards knee replacement and giving up my career. Saw Dr Luke, got an X-ray, and immediately found out my knee wasn't bone-on-bone. i can't tell you enough how much peace of mind i had after my first time seeing Dr Luke. You only have one body so if you're seeing a physician and/or a physical therapist, still consider setting up an appointment with Dr Luke or one of the other doctors at Proctor Chiropractic. i feel chiropractors have a keen eye and can feel tissue and immediately pick up on things. i work in healthcare and KNOW clinicians aren't perfect and things can fall between the cracks no matter how many tests are ordered. The doctor who saw me previously had been practicing for over 40 years and i have great respect for him. He did the best he could. i just feel Dr Luke caught my i.t. band issue and everything else, stuff that another 'name' place missed out on. i feel Proctor diagnosed me correctly. Okay, i am done. i wish you luck on your wellness journey.

After seeing multiple doctors and being told that I had to live with…read moreserious, debilitating chronic pain for the rest of my life, a friend recommended Dr. Matt. Dr. Matt (who has been practicing for 25 years) is a Palmer Chiropractic graduate. Palmer is located in Iowa and is known for producing high quality practitioners. Dr. Matt uses both table and physical adjustments. Because my entire body was injured in an assault from drunk teens at a Walgreens, he treats my entire body (not just the part that is hurting). Speed a few years ahead and I am nearly 100% healed (I had a couple of trip and falls after my first visit). Now whenever I have any issues, I see Dr. Matt first before I try anything else. Dr. Matt also sees my entire family. He has an affordable family care package for a family like ours. We have insurance, but unfortunately, the insurance does not cover chiropractic care. Dr. Matt has a monthly wellness plan for a nominal monthly amount for two health adjustments per month. The family package is shareable within my family so if more than 2 visits are required, we can draw from the family package. (His package deal is at least 1/2 the costs of other local chiropractors so our family can afford his care). I can't submit this review without mentioning Dr. Matt's staff. His office manager is Stacy, and we have to say she is most likely the kindest person walking this earth. Stacy makes every single patient feel welcome and at ease, takes time to listen to each person who enters this practice and to answer any questions. She is never too busy to connect with each patient. Crystal is the other staff that works part time and she is also lovely. Crystal was the first person I met at Dr. Matt's business. She even stood out in front of the building to help me find the office on my first visit. Kind and compassionate staff. Bonuses: Dr. Matt treats all ages - from babies and young children to adults. Additionally, Dr. Matt doesn't gaslight you and tell you that you are crazy for having pain. It isn't instant relief and there is a process to go through for chiropractic care, but it REALLY WORKS. If you are looking for relief from pain from an injury, Dr. Matt is the way to go. I highly recommend University Place Chiropractic.

And more often than not, I limped onto Jaclyn's table, cheesing because she always greeted me with, "What did you do now?" But she was nothing short of phenomenal in not only providing me with support and healing for my body, but teaching me how to self-promote said healing on my own. Jaclyn was a friend first before chiropractor to me, having held focus mitts for her at our boxing gym as she Mike Tyson'd her way through my hands. So while the rapport had already been established prior to me becoming a client of hers, her demeanor always remained the same: friendly, sweet, informative, and diligent in her craft. She is highly attentive to her patients' particular concerns while informing them of other things she notices with their bodies and functional movement, sometimes previously unbeknownst to said patients. Programs are personalized to cater to your needs and physical functionality. I, for one, went through my program starting with longstanding aches and pains, and came out feeling like I could conquer the world. Or at least a bear. If not for a change in work geography, I would still be visiting Jaclyn, sarcastically giggling about why I'm sauntering in to her office ever so slowly favoring one side of my body. She is an awesome chiropractor and an even more amazing person. Recommend times a million!
