He is very kind, very thorough and has even offered to call my mom to discuss diagnoses so that I didn't have to do it (I'm in my 30's). :) Hi nurse, Patty, is amazing as well. Last year, when Dr. Oosterbaan brought it up during my annual appt, she was fairly understanding and made some good recommendations. Fast forward to this year and my weight came up again and she basically encouraged me to develop an eating disorder if I wanted to lose weight... She suggested I skip breakfast, eat three hard boiled eggs for lunch, and have plain grilled chicken on top of a bed of plain lettuce for dinner. And if I wanted a snack at all during the day to have a cheese stick. She also said that peanut butter and nuts are too caloric, and that I should never eat those. And forget about carbs! She said pasta and bread are a huge no no (even in moderation) and that she never eats carbs. What was I supposed to say? Congratulations on depriving yourself of tasty foods? She was also super abrasive and rude when she said she wouldn't write me a prescription for Ozempic (which, I never asked for one and wasn't planning on asking for it!) She brought it up on her own. I've never left an appointment feeling so horrible about myself, but there's a first time for everything and thanks to Dr. Oosterbaan, that's exactly how I felt. If this is how she treats someone who isn't considered "overweight", I'm scared to imagine how she treats someone who is. Two and a half weeks later and I'm still disgusted by this conversation. I'll find someone else who treats their patients with respect and understanding, which you won't get with her.

Directed to this clinic for a new physician my husband wanted to try out. After the first experience, we will not go back. It started off with the staff being very rude in the front desk, those little girls had the nastiest attitude ever by far ruined our day as soon as we walked in very unprofessional do not know what they are doing, or how to speak to people very horrible customer service! I don't know what the girls name was that was attending me, but it was the two younger girls who are Latina and have the windows as soon as you enter.. they just made everything feel like we were unwelcome. Then when we were called to the back, they had to take my husband's vitals before we headed into the room. It looked like a playground back there ... to be very honest with you. I don't think half of the people working back. There are even certified. The physician his self was an OK doctor, but it seemed like he was in a rush he didn't know my husband, and it was his first time with him, but he didn't ask many questions. He just prescribed him a whole bunch of medication's. We wanted to be heard, instead of throwing all these drugs at. Then on the way out, we had to make a follow up appointment and again with the same two little girls. Was not a good experience then as well. It is just very unprofessional here. However, the pharmacy in that building is pretty quick pretty fast and the girls at the register are nicer. I will say the only thing smooth about that visit was receiving our medication's at the pharmacy. We wanted to get out of there right away. I feel like this clinic is not going to be here long.

In 2020 I began experiencing a rash, became allergic to numerous things and it went down from there. I had been involved with exotic animals with a news story we did and suspected possibly a link due to that. I went to to Mayo and was told I was Delusional and it went down from there. That label gave Western Medicine a pass to treat you due to knowing they had you in a corner. Two years into this and I got here where they did a Molecular Pathology Report and indeed I did have two strains of fungus and Dermatophyte pathogens. Why was this test not ever used for Western Medicine and those who are being denied treatment for what they choose to call Morgellons? This test would be a simple fix. It led me to begin investigating the process ...and I discovered the coverup with the CDC. Interesting that the Dr. who labeled me was also one who wrote for the CDC about Morgellons. Here...I have gotten more information in 3 months than I have had in 3 years. They just completed a GI microbial Assay map which takes stool samples and extensively studies them. I received a 3 page read out on my insides and am loaded with two separate bacterias that could very well have been the original cause of my rash. Yet not one Dr. ever did that? Hmmmm.....always got generic overnight studies and when things came back as "probably this..." there was never any follow-up to see if it was possible that it wasn't that. Western doctors have never allowed me to go on my gut instincts. Here Jessica got it figured it and although I have a long road...I have a start. All the antibiotics Western Med throws at you are solely to line their pockets. During the course of 2 years I have become antibiotic resistant to so much that I'm assuming my bacteria issue is from the resistance and robbery of good bacteria. Keep in mind here they will assign essential pharmacy meds if needed. They just balance the needs based on individuals.. They cover every base with medical options and are right up there with the Western field with technology that is used there. I would love to see more of this and applaud the healing center for giving me not just hope...but acknowledging me as a living, breathing human being who has people who depend on her life. That part will be addressed when this is over...but this facility came into my life for a reason .It actually gives me hope again..

I was turned off when I saw that they don't submit to insurance as I'm a teacher with a low salary, but I'm so glad I didn't cancel my appointment. First, this isn't an impersonal clinic experience. There is a full consultation with honest travel tips to stay healthy and a full explanation of options, side effects, etc. I thought I had to do research before I went, but their thorough but simple online portal that you create before your appointment made Laura incredibly knowledgeable about my travel and able to anticipate my questions/ concerns. The packet of information with travel tips as well as the low down on each vaccine was helpful for future reference too. Second, they (Laura) are truly looking out for you as a traveler. She made recommendations based on future travel and not just this one trip, which will save me time and money in the end. I didn't feel as though she was trying to get me to spend more money, but simply thinking of what is needed for my health/comfort and that's it. If you are at all nervous or new to vaccinations or unsure of what to get, it is 100% worth paying the extra money and gambling if your insurance will take anything later to go to Passport Health. They (Laura especially) will put you at ease and save you a lot of Googling
