If I could get this clinic negative stars, trust me, I would, by far the most inappropriate and…read moreunprofessional clinic I've ever been to. We were. Directed to this clinic for a new physician my husband wanted to try out. After the first experience, we will not go back. It started off with the staff being very rude in the front desk, those little girls had the nastiest attitude ever by far ruined our day as soon as we walked in very unprofessional do not know what they are doing, or how to speak to people very horrible customer service! I don't know what the girls name was that was attending me, but it was the two younger girls who are Latina and have the windows as soon as you enter.. they just made everything feel like we were unwelcome. Then when we were called to the back, they had to take my husband's vitals before we headed into the room. It looked like a playground back there ... to be very honest with you. I don't think half of the people working back. There are even certified. The physician his self was an OK doctor, but it seemed like he was in a rush he didn't know my husband, and it was his first time with him, but he didn't ask many questions. He just prescribed him a whole bunch of medication's. We wanted to be heard, instead of throwing all these drugs at. Then on the way out, we had to make a follow up appointment and again with the same two little girls. Was not a good experience then as well. It is just very unprofessional here. However, the pharmacy in that building is pretty quick pretty fast and the girls at the register are nicer. I will say the only thing smooth about that visit was receiving our medication's at the pharmacy. We wanted to get out of there right away. I feel like this clinic is not going to be here long.

Up until recently, I was a total acupuncture newbie. But I can say now after visiting this place,…read moreI'm a fan! I've always been a fan of ancient medicine as way of healing so I was eager to try. Off the bat, the studio is welcoming as you enter. There is an overall warmth and calming aroma, and you can really feel the soothing energy. Working with Anne has been great. She comes off as very gentle, understanding, and of course, knowledgeable. She made my first time very comfortable. We talked through what issues I need work on and she thoroughly explained the hows and whys of treatment. I laid back in one of their comfortable reclining chairs and prepared to be poked! All jokes aside, you can hardly feel the needles being put in. With my goals to work on digestive and skin issues, needles were places in my legs, arms, and face as way of focusing in on that treatment. I'm still fascinated on how it all works! Don't get me wrong, you feel a bit paralyzed at first, as you're really not supposed to move around much. Once you get relaxed however, it's complete zen. The wave sounds and low-key music made for a perfect meditative zone. My first experience was about thirty minutes long, but you never feel rushed to leave. As Anne let me know, if you are in a great deep state and wish to stay longer, you can feel free to do so. Milwaukee Urban Acupuncture also offers other treatments such as dry needling, cupping, massage therapy and reiki. Something for everyone looking to heal in any way! I recommend you give this place a go.

Having tried massage, chiropractic treatments, and more pillows and mattresses than I can count to…read morehelp with my neck pain, some friends suggested acupuncture and offered up Milwaukee Urban Acupuncture as the place to try. I loved that I could book the appointment online, it's just so much more convenient for my work schedule to pop into a website between meetings and find a time that works for my calendar. Having the prices available on the site was also appreciated. The location was easy to find and I snagged parking right across the street, another bonus. Anne was very nice and thorough in both her forms and questions. As I wasn't actively experiencing any neck pain at the time of the appointment and never having had this treatment before, she recommended a general procedure that should also help with my lack of sleep. Her calm demeanor definitely put me at ease! I do wish the office area wasn't so cluttered with papers and random bags, it made me a tad skeptical of the firm's organizational skills and attention to detail, truth be told. While I am not afraid of needles, having sharp objects inserted into my body isn't high on my list of definitions of a good time, but the procedure was essentially painless and I was able to relax a bit while in the chair. Which brings me to my other quibble here: I was cold sitting in the chair with my pants rolled up to my knees and my shirt up to my elbows. Anne did bring me a blanket which helped a little, but not totally. She suggested I sit closer to a heater next time. While not untrue, it also wasn't particularly helpful. I think a better solution would be more heaters. All in all, I did sleep better that night and would definitely give it a try here again--but only if I can score a heater seat!
