The Best Surf and Turf! The Service, The Food was excellent!! I would definitely recommend!

Their tamago sushi is one of the best I've had ever, and I think that's really a defining moment for a Japanese restaurant. I've dined in and had deliveries. While dining in, my thoughts on the service was excellent. I also appreciated and thought my mojito was very delicious. I ordered the Surf and Turf, BBQ spare ribs, chirashi sushi, and tamago sushi. I appreciate the clean and delicious taste of everything that I've had. For the area and price, I think they are bringing downtown standards to a rather suburban area. I haven't tried their hibachi but do look forward to doing so soon. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. I've been here maybe 5 times since they've opened and have never been disappointed. I never get a chance to take pictures because I eat too quickly. I usually get the shrimp hibachi but never sit at the hibachi table. I've been with the family, for dates and ordered for lunch. We came to this restaurant after walking around the mall. The out and inside are beautiful. But the service was terrible. People that were sat after us got serviced before us. But being someone who works in the restaurant industry I understood it probably wasn't on purpose. But once our server almost forgot one of our appetizers. Then my boyfriend ordered the crispy duck and I ordered The crispy red snapper. When the orders arrived he received a duck lettuce wrap and I was presented with two fried chicken cutlets. They quickly dropped the food then left. It took a few mins to flag someone down and when I finally got a manager. They told me the best they could do was take 10% off the chicken cutlet dish that I didn't order. I explained to them we had a movie to catch so I would eat it but. I can't wait for the red snapper to be cooked and that I felt it was unfair I had to pay for a dish I didn't order at all. He insisted that's all he could do for us in a very aggressive manner so I returned both dishes and paid for the appetizers and drinks we had. I just think it's foolish to not put the customer first especially after the error was made on your end. I was actually considering having my cousins birthday celebration here because the place is beautiful. But the food is lack luster and the service is terrible. I don't normally write reviews but felt it was absolutely necessary.i will be short and brief and to the point because my emotions will get the best of me. I visited Dec. 3 2022 with another family. We were 3 (myself, wife and 6 year old daughter.).to begin the gentle doing his "show" dropped he tool it went spinning across the open stove...funny maybe if it were the only thing. When he did the egg trick it totally cracked on the wrong side of the stove...funny maybe if we're the only thing...but when the cook sprayed the stove with water to clean to prep for the meat the hot water and oil sprayed us all. My daughter's leg , my sweater, and my sister in laws hand. We immediately all jumped but he continued...no apologies no concern. My daughter did not want to sit at the table my wife pulled away and calmed her down after going to the bathroom and taking a pic she had a pink mark on her leg. As if this wasn't terrible enough we managed to get through the meal and when we received the bill there was nothing discounted . I did complain to the manager immediately after it happened. A 5 dollar iceeam was thier solution. At the end i express my discontent and showed the pic but all i got was 10% i wish i could of avoided the tip and show fee but it was taken out anyway. So I went here on saturday for my first time. At first, I thought it was a good restaurant. The service was awful. I waited about an hour to get my food. I ordered an appetizer, I got it after my food was cooked. When I asked for a water, the waiter gave me an attitude because they were busy. After I received the food, they cleaned the stove. Just my luck, the smoke got on my face for a good 2 minutes. Smh. Then to sum things up, I waited about an hour for my check. When I asked the waiter for it, he said that why I'm in a rush. This restaurant has to step up their game. Other hibachi restaurants are better. Go to central ave, bonsai. They even give you a salad there. Not here. Service sucks! read more

This place has changed so much since it first opened and at the direction it is currently going in, I forsee it closing down very soon. Food, drinks, atmosphere, decor and cleanliness are excellent. Just be prepared for uptick in prices (on top of the recent inflated prices on their "new" menu), significantly smaller food portions and rude combative servers. I was just there yesterday and it will be my last visit. Our server was very discourteous, argumentative and blatantly unprofessional. While taking our order, the server kept inflating the prices in addition to what was indicated on the menu, and kept stating "that's an extra charge". I'm ok with an extra charge if I am adding extras to my dish, however I draw the line when it's going to be double the price of the actual dish. Absolutely Ridiculous!!! The math was not adding up. Once our food was delivered to our table, we never saw our server again. The server never checked on us, I had to flag another server for additional drinks. And when I went to use the restroom, one of the other servers ran to our table with the bill. While paying the bill (they bring the mobile card charger right to your table) the server kept inquiring about adding tip, which really solidified my desire to never return to this place ever again. Where was all that vigor throughout my dining experience? It was non-existent. I guess their lack of service in addition to their rude behavior is causing a steady decline in tips that they now feel the need to hover and monitor patrons as they pay their bills. I have been here on several occasions, and today I have to say, I will not be going back there, never have I ever had a waitress, get upset and tell me I have to leave a tip in a rude manner like this female did. First off all I paid with my card and I hit skip tip on their little hand held payment device, because I had cash to tip, which the correct tip amount was on the table in cash, but this female was so caught up on getting tips, she didn't realize that the tip was on the table until I checked her for being rude. The reality is the service wasn't that great and they shouldn't have even gotten a tip from me, but I understand that the wage game at restaurants. So managers if you are reading this, you really need to get you're team in check as it relates to dealing with customers. They shouldn't be so quick to get rude with someone because they think that they are not going to get a tip, So for that, you just lost a customer, which you guys probably don't care anyway. read more

I ordered roast duck breast for approx. $34.00. Whenit arrived via doordash, it was actually burned to the point that it was not edible. I called and told them this and they refused to refund me or replace the order. They were very rude and disrespectable and told me to take this issue up with doordash. But I explained to them that doordash did not burn the duck they did. I recommend no sensible person orders or visits this horrible establishment. I went to the restaurant the food was good and the service was good. But I have a concern with the social distance with people (strangers) sitting at the same table . They were seating us next to another group of people when I told her about my concern she said the CDC is allowing more capacity. I don't think they know that is still requires distance when seating customers . So I was very uncomfortable with the close seating at the tables we were moved to the other side of the table . I went for Valentine's Day with my husband and child and was horrified by the Prejudice Ill mannered hibachi chief. While my family was taken care of just fine I can't say the same for the other family sharing the table with us. Firstly the show was quiet and rushed. The service of the wait staff was fine. But this chief was short with us he was not warm or inviting. We went for the experience but we thought at least the children are enjoying themselves. At least until we noticed all the other kids being treated so nicely and our kids were kinda an after thought to this guy. All the other chiefs were giving kids women ballon roses or animals. My son got a sword the little got got the same thing. And the. The chief rolled his cart away before giving the third child a sword. His family kindly asked him for another for the child that was left out. He looked confused said he couldn't and walked away. Like what???? You just don't treat children like that. That family was sharing meals who knows what else was going on there. Maybe they were counting pennies to save to go out. I like to try a restaurant first by going there alone. You can see how attentive the wait staff are. Mito did well in this regard. I was treated kindly and there was always someone available to refill my water glass. However, I could not be seated at a Hibachi table and the hostess kept trying to encourage me to sit at the bar. No thank you. The restaurant had many available tables and preferred to eat in a quieter area. The food was okay; I've had much better seaweed salad and better sushi. Not much food for a very high price, especially given the location. I had an appetizer of seaweed salad, entree of ONE fancy salmon roll (cut into 6-7 pieces) & fried ice cream for dessert. The bill came to just over $50! Again, a high price for not much food, IMHO. Doubt I'll return unless I'm with a group and can try the Hibachi table/food. i came to this location for my daughters sweet 16. me my wife and 3 daughters. it was slow and empty and I asked to have a separate table for her birtbday and the hostess Anna was very rude and inconsiderat when I asked to be seated at a separate table with my family. She tried to seat us with another group of 4 before giving us a seat. Immediately after that she seated a party of 3 with us instead of sending them to the first table she tried seat us at to be spiteful. Shortly after a white couple came in (party of 2) that had there own section and then seated another separate party of 3 with their own section (white) she gave the parties with Less amount of people isolated sections but didn't want to accommodate my Family.
