I don't even know where to begin…read more I started Voice Masters when they opened at the end of 2019. For some background - prior to Voice Masters I had taken classes with K&K and classes taught by some well known VO actors. There's a common assumption (that even I had) that if you have a unique voice or knew how to do well known voices that voice over would be a guaranteed success. I was WRONG. SO. VERY. WRONG. I didn't know Paulette or Mimi in any way when I met them at their open house in 2019. Some classmates from K&K suggested we all try it out. I'M ABSOLUTELY GLAD WE DID. I'm typically a very shy person unless on stage ( I do stand up). So I've been always been the quiet one and insecure one in the back of the class. That's who I was when I started Voice Masters. I did all their animation classes both initially in studio (pre-pandemic) which then turned remote after Covid. The delightful trio Mimi, Paulette, and Ashley noted my positives and negatives ...again still that shy one holding back. I finished all my classes and decided to join Mimi's Master Class in 2021. Andddd BOOM! When I say that Mimi reconstructed my way of performing, thinking and understanding - would still be an understatement. I listen to my old K&K recordings and compare them to now and its absolutely not the same person. In 2023, I dubbed various shows for Netflix, vo'd a few trailers, and obtained representation. I can genuinely say that wouldn't have happened without Voice Masters. For all those classmates that started with me? For the most part - all that have stuck by VM are the same success story. I'm still taking classes with VM and will continue to do for as long as I can. It's honestly been a return investment for me. If you're thinking about taking the class - DO IT. Just remember that success isn't overnight. You have to constantly work on your craft.

Hava really made an impact on my son's speech development, I cannot thank her enough. Now they do bring in people that are training into your child's session (as Hava is the lead therapist there) which is okay but I am sure you can opt out of that if you feel like it's not for you. I found that Hava made sure to chime in when the session could improve. Gwen was an amazing occupational therapist, I have had a hard time finding the same type of quality of work she did at the other center. Brontie also left an impression on us, she was such a pleasure to work with and my son loved her. Angel is the office contact and she is also great, she gets back to you right away and is so helpful and patient. The level and quality of communication from here was unmatched compared to other centers. I really did appreciate all they did for us. If my son were to ever need anymore support I would totally come back.

Bad experience from beginning to end. Therapists don't meet qualifications as they are assistants…read moreand not OT. Admin staff needs to be retrained. Company motto "client first, therapist second, company third" doesn't align with their values. My son was referred by our private insurance in November, I called to schedule yet was given the run around call after call and nothing was scheduled until February. Shortly after, my daughter was approved by Westside Regional Center for OT, so before choosing this clinic I asked Hannah if they worked with them and her answer was yes. We had a few sessions with both of my kids seeing Ms. Gwen back to back. A week ago we started my daughter's session which was abruptly interrupted by Hannah saying we need to stop due to a contract issue with the provider. I was not given an explanation further, I was also not given options to finish her session even if that meant paying out of pocket. I followed up same day with Hannah asking what the issue was but was again not given an answer. Monday came so I followed with her again yet was told "team is actively working on it" and was offered to cancel my son's appointment. I took my son to his appointment and followed up that afternoon with Hannah who said "we don't have a time frame" . I called to speak to a supervisor was told there was no direct line but they would email Ms.Alya. I finally got a call today from Mariah calling about my son yet the issue is about my daughter. She stated since the therapist is an assistant OT the program won't pay for services so they need redirect my daughter elsewhere. I explained my concerns and asked why it took them a week of me following up to get an answer they clearly had since day one. I expressed I will need to move my son eventually and was offered to remove him from the schedule. This is customer service at its worst. Not only did they not follow up with the regional center but she told me I should speak to upper management on their end for not letting me know OT assistants couldn't provide service. That should be a situation for the companies to discuss not the clients.This ultimately affects children and parents who advocate for their kids. It was made clear that we didn't matter as clients and just another number on the book.
