Buddy, in his infinite wisdom, told me not worry and that it was worth a shot to grow what we can and he would be back to redo it if it did not grow. Skip to 1 year later and delay after delay - I still don't have a lawn - Buddy blames me for the grass not growing - after consulting with numerous other landscapers, they said he took a big risk and should have just waited for better cooler weather. - He has told me in the Fall he would be out to seed but it was well into Oct 2018 before he would show up and recommended I wait until Spring 2019. - Spring of 2019 has come and gone and and he still has not showed up. I would recommend anyone who wants to do business with Buddy make sure you don't pay until job is 100% complete. He was paid on time with everything and now does not want to hold up to his side of the deal.

One day out of the blue we came home to find our front yard picked clear of leaves. We found out that they were in the area and had done a courtesy leaf pickup (no cost). AMAZING! On May 9, 2023, when JRD cut my neighbor's tree, they neglectedly dropped the branches of the trees onto my yard, onto my lilac and hydrangeas. When I first saw that happened, I came talk to the team for them to be mindful that I had several plants in that area and please do not drop broken trees on top of my plants. Noted I was not notified in advance this was happening nor there was my permission at all for all of this to happen on my property. As a result, several of my hydrangeas were broken to over half of their size, and same as the lilac. It is now 1/3 of the size of its twin sister on the other side of my house. I am now questioning my rights on my possessions located inside my own property! I contacted the owner right then and he said would have my plants replaced. Today, over a month after I contacted him, I never had any plant replaced and he did not respond after several follow up.

There are three cars in the driveway. I took time out of my day. So following my GF getting the text we called and were told Al was aggravated and he's not coming back. We have a tree that is cracked and leaning, we are going to get the tree cut one way or another. It is amazing to me to see a company actively push away prospective clients. I get that the owner was frustrated over a perceived miscommunication. I can tell you what I would do. If my prospective customer is not there, or appears to not be there I would call to let them know I am at the door. I spoke with a woman on the phone coordinating this, so they know someone is here and available... why not follow up if no one answers? All I can say is situational awareness and perspective matter. You saw and heard the construction next door, you saw the cars, would a simple text message hurt? I get that mix ups happen, but the ego you have to have if a customer immediately reaches out to clarify the confusion and you throw a temper tantrum. It is because of this I am writing this review. Something that squarely sits on the owners shoulders. So now I will have Newcomb come out instead, they at least show professional courtesy. You are not the only one who's time was inconvenienced. So if you are looking for a company that will be professional, look elsewhere this owner has a chip on his shoulder.

They showed up on time and did a terrific job his crew was excellent and even pulled a blockage out of the gutter for me. They were done before noon and other than the yard looking different it was cleaner than before they came. A great bunch of guys! Would definitely use them again.
