In August 2020, we hired KNK to do landscaping in our yard, replace a brick walkway, cut down some…read moresmall trees/bushes, and replace our wooden deck with Trex. The reason this review is two stars is that the landscaping and walkway came out lovely. Unfortunately, the deck began to fall apart by November 2020. Boards were hanging off the side, boards were cracking, boards on top of the deck were sinking, steps were wobbling. Contacting KnK was absolutely fruitless - I tried phone, email, even Facebook Messenger. I did get an email from someone claiming to be the Account Assistant Manager, who wanted to "make things right". When I did call him, he asked me what sort of estimate I wanted. When I explained I did not want an estimate, he mysteriously became impossible to contact. Several weeks after contacting them, someone came back to hit a few boards with a hammer. After contacting them again, several weeks passed when someone stopped by, and said he would take one board to measure and cut, and would replace the broken boards. He came while we were at work to replace the one board he took and left the rest. We ended up interviewing 3 different contractors to fix the mess that KnK made. All 3 of them told us it looked like something we tried to do ourselves. Even worse, when the Trex was removed as it had to be re-cut and replaced, our new contractor found rotted beams and Trex pieces holding up bricks and concrete blocks under the deck - so unsafe! I sent KnK a certified letter including pictures of the mess they made, asking them to replace the labor fee for the deck (it cost us 4 times that amount to actually fix the deck) and they simply ignored me. The BBB stated that they won't handle purchases over 1 year old so I was unable to leave a review there like I had hoped. Just hoping that this review saves someone else the headache. It's too bad as the landscaping and brick work turned out really nicely, but I can't recommend this company just due to their customer service.

It's the reason I've been asking them back every year. Other reviews have mentioned that they're not great at phone communication and follow-up, and I've also found this to be true. However, I've found them very responsive over email. So that's how I've been communicating with them for the past couple of years, and I've been happy. I recommend these guys for general landscaping, lawn maintenance, and clean-up work.

As it got colder, I urged him that the job should be complete before getting colder. No word in months. Daly left my work to further deteriorate over the winter. Had my driveway resurfaced in late august of 2024. Crew damaged my garage siding and Joe and I…read morereached an agreement for the damage - which was fine. In April of 2025, a few cracks stated to develop. I called and got a commitment to repair but no stated date because of the amount of work - again ok. However, after a couple of months, I called again assuming they forgot me. Since then, I have gotten the run around. They have committed dates and never showed, email interactions with no useful response, and even a commitment to arrive on a Saturday around noon to 1pm. As expected - even though I called to confirm - Joe never showed. The cracks are now about 8 feet and 3 feet long. Will be finding someone else to seal the driveway. I just would not recommend them. Update: October 2025: Pardini actually arrived 3 hours late and sealed the driveway. Six months of pestering got some action. I have updated to 3 stars.
