EXCELLENT! It's been a while since I've come across real customer service. Alinur and Albert were the two movers to take care of everything for us and I am glad they did. SERVICE: Let me start of by saying that they gave us a time that they would be at our place and they called us ahead of time to let us know that they would be 30 mins EARLIER! I've never heard of anyone exceeding expectations on the time! That right there, blew me away, it let me know that they wanted my business and valued my time which I greatly appreciate. Alinur and Albert we very professional and clearly knowledgeable on what they were doing. The care that they put in wrapping up our fragile and large items was impressive. The poor guys had to take everything down from a second floor then go up stairs in the new house, in the afternoon, in August, in Miami in 100 degree weather. AND they maintained their professionalism the whole time and they worked diligently. I value sense of urgency and they demonstrated that without it feel rushed, everything was perfect and it flowed. Local N Long Distance was the top choice for me because they do not use brokers; it's a start to finish job with their employees the entire way through with the works: furniture wrapping, basic assembly, and no hidden charges (no extra hidden fees for truck costs, tolls, stair fees, etc.). I booked in advance and got a small discount for doing so. My quote was flat rate and very reasonable for such a long move. On the day of loading, Roman and Alinur arrived exactly on time and went over my inventory with me. They carefully wrapped everything and got everything loaded into the truck quickly and efficiently. I was so impressed with how much care they took to make sure my items were protected. After a very long drive, they arrived to deliver my items with smiles on their faces. My items are exactly as they were when I packed them, and they were unloaded up two flights of stairs with care. Moving can be a very stressful time, however Local N Long Distance Movers made my recent experience one of the BEST moves in my life. If you are researching hiring a moving company, I really can't imaging how anyone can be better than this company and highly recommend them to everyone. I met Roman and Alex at my warehouse and they helped me move the contents of three 10x10 units back to my home after some major renovations. They were extremely professional, brought a nice truck, with new clean supplies, tape, blankets, dolly, etc. and were super efficient. Their prices were reasonable and they offered additional packing assistance and other services that I did not utilize but were good to have as options. Making it extra complicated, I moved out of a third floor walk up in South Florida in June. The team of guys took great care to keep my (many) belongings organized by room and to keep every piece of furniture, televisions, and oddly shaped items that couldn't go in boxes safe by wrapping them in blankets or plastic or both. Alinur, Albert, and Danil were nothing short of awesome. If you want a successful and fast move, I would 100% recommend this company. I don't know where they get their energy from but they never stop. They moved me from a 2/2 apartment that I was in for over 6 years (a lot of stuff) to a house in just a little over 5h, that included disassembling and reassembling furniture by hand and hauling most of it all upstairs at the new location. I hired this company to help me with an out of state move. I requested a partial packing service for an additional fee. They charge by how many boxes you'll need packed up. I wanted the entire kitchen packed up plus other items from different areas and rooms throughout the home. 4 guys arrived around 11:30am to help pack up a 3 bedroom 1700+ square foot home. Moving always reveals that we have too much stuff. I thought I did so much purging beforehand but this experience made me re-examine my life and values. Why do I have so much stuff? Anyway, these 4 guys were great! They are focused workhorses! It took all day with minimal breaks to pack up about half of our things before dismantling all the big furniture items. There was so much stuff that they ran out of boxes and I had to run to Home Depot to pick up 5 more. They packed up all my dishes, glasses, pots, pans, small kitchen appliances, gadgets, spices, food items, books, some electronics, took down all hung artwork and wall decor, etc. This was an all day job and they finished at 10:30pm. They delivered 2 days later across state lines arriving around 9am with 5 guys total to unpack truck: 1 guy from the original pickup and 4 new guys. I directed where I wanted all the large furniture to go and they put it together and set things up as requested. They don't unpack your boxes so you're on your own there. Ahh, feels like there's a million boxes everywhere! The next couple of weeks should be fun unpacking (absolutely no fun). So far I only spotted 3 items that were damaged but nothing too major. I had one glass side table cracked, a ceramic floor planter shattered, and patio furniture covers ripped. That's actually not too terrible compared to the other 95% of big items that was delivered without issues. Hopefully when I start unpacking I don't find anymore damages. They finished around 2:30pm. I would absolutely use their services again. I'm thrilled that I did not have to do all the heavy lifting. These guys come ready to work and are very strong, fast, friendly, and reliable! read more

The 2-man crew + truck arrived right on time and were professional from start to finish. Booking in the first place was easy as well, and they followed up to confirm details shortly before the actual move. I had Sergei and Victor as my movers, and they were awesome. Smart, strong, and worked well together. After they finished the move, I asked them to stay to help build our bed too. I recently made a cross country move and hired Local N Long to help me load my U-Pack trailer in Miami. We had a three person crew that arrived on time and got right to work. We had most of our stuff already in boxes, but did have them help pack up the kitchen dishes, glassware, and some oddly shaped picture frames. We wanted everything to be as compact as possible in the trailer and they did a great job. Overall, I was impressed with their speed and efficiency (we were charged by the hour) and while there were a few casualties, I don't necessarily attribute it to their packing. My main gripe was that I was promised when we booked that we'd only be charged for wardrobe boxes and moving blankets. In the end, we were charged for other supplies like the regular boxes they used for the kitchen and bubble wrap. It didn't add up to too much, but I was told twice it wouldn't happen. When they called to follow up about the experience, I mentioned it and they said they'd call me back after investigating further and I never heard anything. Long story short, my experience with the movers was very satisfactory, but I'd encourage others to be very clear with the company what you do and do not want to pay for. read more

From speaking with Simon I knew I chose the right moving company from the beginning. Communication between him and I was great! I had to change the moving date at the last minute and he did it with no problem. Moving from the second floor with no elevator is a hard task but they made it happen! They wrapped all furniture with plastic wrap for protection and had a whole system of organization as we were moving our things to 2 different locations. They explained all possible fees and I booked them for a short distance move of my residential-commercial loft in Wynwood. The four gentlemen worked exceptionably hard. They did not scuff any walls, they wrapped film about everything that needed it, they did great fast work. They even moved my Epson 9900 (320lb) printer flawlessly. One of the crew, not too tall compared to me (6'5") but this young guy lifted the heaviest weights, never stopped cautiously moving all my equipment. I was impressed by his tenacity and strength.
