What an AMAZING and truly entertaining show. My family and I bought tickets for this event two months in advance. Thank goodness we didn't wait to buy them in person, as the show was sold out. I saw at least ten to fifteen people turned away at the door. This show, at times, had fans on their feet dancing, cheering throughout, singing along, and basically having an amazing time. The MJ impersonator is AWESOME! He has high energy the whole show, great dance moves, and interacts with the crowd constantly. Fans enjoyed all the big and most popular hits from Michael Jackson, along with a few from the Jackson 5. The band and dancers were OUTSTANDING! Each gave 100%, helping to make it fun and memorable. The sound, stage, colors, and entire production were fantastic, leaving fans feeling good and singing MJ songs as they left the theater. Well, if you are a major Michael Jackson fan and just wanted to experience the remember berries and you aren't expecting the quality than Michael to do. Then go. I understand the show originally started with Bruno Mars doing a Michael Jackson impression. And you know how much energy he puts into all his work. This one, the dancers for spotty the sound system sucked, they sped up the music and had lots of backing tracks. No one was really putting any effort into it. Even when the impersonator for Michael Jackson was standing right next to us in the audience. You couldn't hear him singing. It was all backing tracks. We went to a show after that. RuPaul's drag race live. And they put the MJ live to shame. M Jay live people say after the show if we have any problems with it, feel free to ride it. There was no place to ride anything. This review is for the show at the Nugget in Sparks/Reno, NV. I'm happy to say our tickets were comped because if I paid full boat like others I would have been upset. The acoustics and sound management were poor. The dancers were great with 'MJ' being okay. I would say his moves were spot on at times with his singing but I feel he did display inappropriate actions with the front row patrons with children in attendance. Also, if you're portraying a famous artist, the proper ascetically pleasing face mask must be in order. (Check out my picture below with the red shirt.) Didn't have any expectations going in, esp with no hype on social media. This show blew my mind! My kids, ages 11 and 15 who aren't entertained much these days, didn't even use their phones during the show. WTH did we just experience? This impersonator needs a bigger stage, esp since the MJ movie hype. He seriously needs to command more $$ from harrahs. The backup dancers were amazing, and theatre was nice, intimate, and clean. I plan on watching this show again in Vegas. His singing and dance moves were on par (no joke) with MJ. What this impersonator has that MJ lacked was probably his interaction with the fans. Wow, wow, wow, absolutely amazing and that's an understatement. Jallas Franca is the most amazing impersonater of Michael Jackson I have ever seen live or on TV. The dancing and singing are 10/10 and he is such a lovely guy, extremely funny and interacts with the audience, I would highly recommend this as I love Michael Jackson and have done since the 80's and I know most if not all his songs, it felt like I was watching Michael Jackson and I was in the front row which I could never have done with the real M.J. Jallas was so so funny, he interacted with my dad and husband and blew a kiss to my mum, I have always been a MJ fan but Jallas has converted my husband and parents to fans now!! Our MJ impersonator was, Santana Jackson, he was entertaining, had some humorous moments, by far a superior dancer than most of the backup dancers. Coming into this show we had high hopes for the back up dancers but they were 4/10, they looked like they were marking a lot of the Choreo, technically not there either, which is a shame because MJ made sure his dancers were en pointe. Santana definitely out danced them. Enjoyed most of the song choices, for the most part it was entertaining but wouldn't see again. read more

PURCHASED TIX IN ADVANCE AT A TABLE ABOUT HALF WAY BACK IN THE THEATER. I purchased tickets for this show at Harrah's in advance of our trip. We were sat about halfway back in the theatre at a (slightly elevated) table that seated 6. (P2 price level). When we walked in, they offered to take us closer (to the non-elelvated row seats) as the show wasn't anywhere near sold out (a Monday in March 2025) but we opted to stay where we'd purchased tickets as I was worried our view might be blocked by people's heads on the non-elevated seats. Another couple that was supposed to be sat at our table opted to move closer, so we were all by ourselves. It would have honestly been a little cramped if there were 6 people at the table and four of them would have to peer around the two in front. The theater isn't that big, so any seat is pretty good, but obviously if you'd really like a close up view, the front area is better. In front of us were 'half-moon' booths with a table -- I would probably opt for those another time. HARD WORKING PERFORMERS I thought the show was decent and the performers worked very hard. The guy that performed the night we went doesn't look like the same guy in most of the review photos I see posted, so not sure if we had an understudy? He had gobs of shaded make up on to make him look like MJ which frankly looked awful, however, he had the moves and the singing down. ALL THE HITS PLUS JACKSON 5 The show was short at about an hour and 15 minutes, but they played all his major hits, plus a (cheesy) Jackson 5 number that featured some white guys in the line-up. Not sure why they couldn't find enough black guys...? OVERALL DECENT SHOW Overall, it was a good tribute show. I thought the audience was a little flat which was a shame. Sometimes they didn't play an entire song. The performers work hard and there are lots of costume changes and stage effects. Afterwards, you can pay to have your photo taken with MJ in the lobby by a professional photographer. (Which we didn't do). HOW TO FIND THE THEATER In order to get to the show, enter the Harrah's casino and go up the central escalator a couple of flights. There's a small lobby outside the theater where there are restrooms. Be sure to allow enough time to find it. We had to ask a casino employee as it wasn't obvious. Note: If you're sensitive to lasers/strobes, sexy moves (i.e. 'crotch grabs') and dance costumes, this may not be for you. Helpful? read more

The show was very entertaining. It ran for for about an hour which was perfect,, it didn't seem Short at all. The venue was small with assigned sections but no assigned seating a full bar is available at the back of the venue. The impersonator was very funny and engaged with the crowd. He was on point with all the songs he sang, as if watching the real Michael Jackson, we couldn't even tell if he was actually singing or llip syncing because he was that good. Reasonably priced. Recently moved to the very intimate showroom at the Harrah's Las Vegas and was the main purpose our trip this weekend with my twin boys who loved it. Jalles Franca is incredibly passionate about his performance and graciously stayed after to chat with fans, take photos, sign autographs, etc. Would unconditionally recommend the show to anyone who is fan of the King of Pop and his songs. Amazing show! While the show has now moved to a different location, Santana is definitely the best performer of the MJ live show.

I'm a huge Michael Jackson fan (who isn't?!) and start dancing in the car whenever his music comes onto the radio in the car. Although the show is relatively short, the music selection is pretty comprehensive, covering the hits throughout his life and career. The Michael performer was fun and engaging, and although he regular broke character, did it in a humorous way (though not necessarily to everyone's taste). Personally, I wished that we'd wrapped up with Heal the World but ultimately I left satisfied with the experience and would definitely recommend it to any fan of the King of Pop! read more

Wow, what a fun, energetic and entertaining show!!! This show moved recently to the Harrah Showroom from the Sahara. Jalles Franca AKA as MJ literally looked, sang and danced like MJ, and we were truely amazed (it was like stepping back in time). This show is very high energy and has it all; everything to include an excellent selection of songs and seamless transitions, awesome dancers, great lights and sound, stunning costumes, and a group of very talented band musicians. Jalles does a meet and great photo session after the show, and he is so friendly, personable and fun (you can tell he genuinely loves entertaining and visiting with fans). The Harrah Showroom is a very nice venue with good stage view and good seating. The staff at this venue are also very friendly and helpful, and parking free for Nevada residents (you scan your ID at exit). Hi everyone, let me start by saying the part of the show that I saw was entertaining and the MJ Live Group did a good job. most importantly to me, Harrah's is an establishment that I will never go to again. Their drinks, Pins Colada was $27.99. I could have gotten over that if I was provided a menu or verbally told the price before consuming the drinks. I verbalized how I thought this was unfair and the waitress got upset. once going to the back to speak with the manager about the fact that prices were not visibly posted and the bill was not given to me until 20 minutes after receiving my drink. The manager brought security with him. I did not stay standing in the back to wait for him because I didn't want to miss the show so I went back to my seat. The manager , bartender, and waitress were all dismissive and rude. I should have asked to see a price list but I think they should have transparent pricing also. Most of all I'm disappointed in how they handled the situation with an uncaring and dismissive attitude. This is how situations get out of control. No one cared how I felt or tried to see their fault in this. Not a place I want to go again. read more

Went to see this show at the Tropicana this week. Show is fine. Audio mixing is fine. There is a live band with a drummer, keyboardist and guitarists, as well as a plethora of dancers and costume changes. My issue is with this theater. I've seen quite a few shows at the Tropicana Theater (like the absolute flop that was Back in the Building Elvis tribute, and the shuttered Divas impersonation show.) This is the only time I've been to this theater and it was full. It is incredibly distracting to constantly have people getting up and crossing the theater. The only bar that should be open is the lobby bar so that people exit their row, go down the center aisle and out into the lobby to get drinks if they can't be bothered to get their drinks before the show starts. One family was upset with how far back they were and wanted closer seats that they didn't pay for. They were up and down until they stepped on my foot trying to exit the row, again, and then didn't return. Had to yell at some tweens who would not stop taking and being loud (a section next to me, behind and in front of me. They must have been together.) They had a selfie light on their phone and were shining it at people and I told them to shut it off. Their ushers need to crack down on people in the cheap seats being loud and obnoxious. I'd love it if they made this show 16-18+. One guy had a stroller and a giant bouncy ball at the show and was literally bouncing it with his toddlers by the blackjack tables as we tried to exit the show. Visited March 2023. read more

I got to say I was pretty surprised at how cool this was and I'm glad I came to watch it with a few friends. We had a party of seven and it was enjoyable for every one of us. The place might not be that large but the vibe here is on point. So many people were dancing and moving during these memorable songs. The dancers here also put in so much hard work and their routines were fun and great. They did put a lot of different songs from way back in his early years to the later parts. It's a great entertaining show - highly energetic, fast pace, great costumes and good staging/lighting effects. Dances are well choreographed. Dancers had good facial expressions, were fluid in their moves and had rhythm. It made you feel like getting up to dance. Any seat in the theatre has unobstructed views so it really doesn't matter where you sit. I recommend seats as close to the center because the dancers' poses are focused there. I sat in the VIP section and as you can see from the map, it's not centered. Look at the theatre map before purchasing your seats. read more
