The All Motown show is amazing. These ladies did a great job with the show. Everyone in the audience seem to be having a good time singing and dancing along with the group. If you haven't been to.the show, I highly recommend it. While there's no food served, they did have alcoholic beverages. This show was fantastic. The singers are extremely talented. If you love Motown, you should definitely come to the show. Very affordable. A couple of them are military veterans as well. While my adult daughter went to see The Backstreet Boys, I came here to enjoy the All Motown show. This show is performed by only women, so I chose it over the other available Motown shows in LV. These women were terrific, singing and dancing for 90 minutes. They know Motown History and and their interpretations of the classics brought back memories from my teen years. During the doo-wop section of the program, the women wore poodle skirts and blouses with the letter "A". I like to think the "A" was in homage to The Andantes, the Motown female session group who sang back-up for most of the major artists on Motown. Although it was a small crowd on a Friday night, everyone was singing and clapping. A delightful experience for all. read more

Wow! These Duchesses of Motown deserve a bigger venue... What a great show! The costumes are dazzling, the ladies are gorgeous & their voices are golden, and their choreography makes you feel like you're being entertained by many original Motown Greats! Last night, they had an International recording star as a guest singer. Her rendition of Etta James' At Last brought tingles & vibes of love through my body!=ox The show is in a small & intimate theater inside the Alexis Resort. Their lighting & effects are spartan at best but it's truly a great value for your entertainment budget... It reminds me of a place where I DJd Friday nights in Chitown playing these great Motown songs! You will love this show whether you know any Motown songs & Artists or not. You may consider going into the Vegas.com site and check the seating map. You're on the right website if the general admission is less than $40. We opted for the $53 seats with a circular table but we were offered front row seats at the reception... There's also a $10 fee. So, you may want to $trategize from this info. It was less than a mile from our room in the Marriott so we walked to the venue! You can see The Sphere along the way and a new hotel named "Heineken Silver Las Vegas Formula Racing"?, it looks like a giant Steam Boat! Excellent show! Five superstars bring it 1000%. The venue, a short ride from the strip - is modest but with very cushy seats. The show is not highly produced but is rather very well produced (good lighting and sound) and does not need much else because The Duchesses of Motown bring the pipes, the personality, the glitz, the glamour and pure fire! The genuine appreciation for their craft and for the audience show in their 1,000 watt smiles as they make the most of an intimate venue. The emcee queen opens with a killer solo then presents the other four Duchesses. She returns intemittently with personality and explodes with talent while the other four performers change into their next ridiculously glamorous outfit. Of the many highlights were pitch perfect "I'll be There" by the Jackson 5, an exquisite diva-tastic "At Last" (a la Etta James), a hella hot rendition of "Ooohooh Baby, Baby" (a la Smokey Robinson and the Miracles) a skillfully done "Natural Woman" by the Queen of Soul, some serious Darlene Love (The Blossoms) and much, much more. They preserve much of the arrangements you (grown folk) might remember but bring their own excellent vocals to each perfectly executed number. No talent is wasted. Each of the five superstar Duchesses takes turns in the spotlight. The harmonies, chemistry and showmanship are wonderful. You can tell they are the real deal as they take a moment to pitch the merch, but not before they thank by name everyone involved, including the guy on sound, folks at the door and the equally pleasant server. They end with the perfect closing song (by Miss Ross and company). I did in fact vote for the All Motown show for the Best Of Las Vegas at www.votebolv.com (go to the family friendly entertainment sub-category). I did not need to see every show to know The All Motown show is definitely the Best Of Las Vegas! So glad we ended our BFF Vegas trip with this very special treat. We really enjoyed this show. It's located in the Alexis Park hotel. The showroom is small, but adequate for the group. Five female singers that did a terrific job singing the songs from the seventies, eighties and nineties. Each one did a solo with the backup group and they all were great. Their costuming was elaborate and I really loved all of their outfits. I wonder if they could add a couple of men to their group to get a more Motown feeling? There is a nice bar and cocktail lounge pre and post show. There is also waitress drink service during the show. If you like Motown, you should see this show. read more

The ladies did a GREAT job and had beautiful voices and outfits to match. This event exceeded my expectations and my mom had a blast. It was a quite disappointing show. The venue, the sound and light were just mediocre comparing to other places. I understand that Alexis hotel can't compare to Paris, MGM or Palazzo but the tickets are similarly close to a musical theatre show in Paris hotel theatre is ridiculous. I know the vocalists tried so hard but their ability is at the music major student level, or they work so hard and they just want to save their voice so that they hold back a lot, that brought a boring show with less energetic performances. I can tell that because I am a performer also. And outfits were actually not high quality one, with cheap texture. Saying the performers working hard is not enough, you need to prove it, show it by bringing a wonderful satisfactory performance to the audience. Most of audience at the show were middle-age and senior people, their standard can be low, but for me, the show producer and the team need to work harder to bring a better show. If you don't want to work harder, you need to REDUCE the PRICE. The show was OVERPRICED with that quality. Motown is my one of my favourite styles of music, that's why I chose to see the All Motown show but the feeling the performers and the show brought was disappointment. They even didn't have a live band but singing with the playback instrumentation. Plus, the manager/admin/producer whoever of the show was a person who didn't know how to listen to the constructive review. He/she always came to fight back the low star review on Tripadvisor. That action never brings any good deed to the show. Because I am a professional performer so I know that an extreme comment would be a great motivation to change, to improve. I can't accept something vapid that way. The performance was like a Karaoke night of the dancers, they didn't put their souls in the performance but caressing the audience for entertainment. I couldn't find the passion, the fire, the emotions in the performances but the tasteless singing of the running out of breath singers. I will never applaud and support for any performance that don't put effort and real soul in it. Don't make excuses that how hard you worked, because the audience just evaluate your result on the stage read more
