NEVER AGAIN We used MJC Plumbing to do a small job b4 getting Danny Morris (Director) to quote for the project, he seemed pleasant and knowledgeable. I WAS SO WRONG! Encountered many issues; incorrect materials, pipe layout, poor attendance, inflated pricing on required extras, the unvented cylinder was installed non-compliantly (in breach of building regs) this could result in damage & injury. Danny denied this therefore I had to use an independent inspector to confirm. MJC delayed returning to correct the works and wanted final payment prior. I had to use a mediator to agree the rectification works and to receive Benchmark logbook once paid to confirm it is now compliant. Paid in full 4months ago. Danny is refusing to issue the Benchmark therefore invalidating the manufacturers warranty & disregarding a legal requirement. Leaving me no option but to take legal action. read more

I had a problem with my water heater and I was really stressed about it. I'd called up a number of plumbers for a quote, and MJC Plumbing were the only company that didn't try to rip me off. They deserve more than 5 stars! They made the whole process so easy. The office staff were courteous and a delight to speak to on the phone. The engineer was really friendly and helpful too. He took the time to explain what needed fixing. He even gave me some tips on how to prevent the problem from occurring again, amazing! You can tell they really love what they do. Had a very pleasant experience with MJC who diagnosed, found and fixed a problem with the broken seal on the outflow stack in my flat causing a nasty smell, as well as redoing a little bit of connecting-up that a previous plumber had done. Although I've had cheaper quotes, sometimes you get what you pay for. They quoted for 3 or 4 hours and it ended up being 3 plus parts, although I didn't check how much the parts cost. They called me as I requested a call back. Called me within half an hour. Was very helpful and polite towards booking an appointment. We worked out a time best suited for me within there booking slots. They worked while I was working and they kept my place quite tidy when I had seen my hoover gone and found in my living room I knew he tidied up after himself. Unlike most of the reviews here, I didn't think they guys were particularly good. Had them install a combi boiler. The boiler itself is fine, but they didn't seem very experienced and couldn't install the flue properly; made a mess when removing the cabinet and generally seemed like cowboys. Would think twice about recommending them. read more

Excellent company that has always been trustworthy and efficient. They charge only for necessary work and could have told me I needed a new boiler (like British Gas did!) instead they replaced a part for £75 and saved me a fortune. Was looking for a London Plumber for a our new boiler installation. Most of the plumbers I spoke to were cheap as chips until all the hidden extras were added up. MJC were not like this at all.
