Yesterday, I delivered one of my final assessments about reading a book of managerial economics and explaining it in 5 pages. I read a book with 250 pages using scanning and skimming techniques, and I summarized it into 12 pages at the beginning. In the end, I delivered a paper with 5 pages as my teacher requested! Besides that, I did a PPT presentation about a Harvard case study that I already analyzed trough those techniques, and I had to record myself no more than 10 minutes explaining the case with my slides. In addition to the 3D printer and VR headsets, there are lots of Legos, circuits, and all sorts of build and design type activities. My son came back exhausted every day. I also saw a noticeable improvement in his confidence and abilities in navigating obstacles at other play gyms we have been to since. It's not the cheap camp, but it is well worth the price. The time commitment involved has been minimal: 3 hrs a week, one night a week during the school year. The administrator/owner of the center is always cheerful around the parents, although I'm sure behind the scenes it is much different for the personnel. My suggestions for the center would be to upgrade some of the "old school" look of the center such as the TV and maybe the color and wood. Lots of ants are complained about by my child. Additionally, some of the fees are steep but somewhat manageable because you are to break up the payments if the need arises. Summer fees are not really explained especially when you are providing the lunch. Graduation fees are ridiculous since they will not be able to wear the gown again because of size and color. A graduation hat with them wearing white would be more reasonable financially or maybe a program where you give them back and just borrow them for that day. PreK graduation is not essential IMO.
