Great communication, quick with quotes and quick to make any adjustments according to our situation. Scheduling was smooth. We were working a very time sensitive situation. We had contractors scheduled and this company worked with us to pack AND move BOTH tenants out the same day when we had discussed it would be two separate days for each unit. They worked until late to be sure it was all done and moved into storage units. They came back to unload the storage units and unpacked everything. They were even good to schedule on separate days to accommodate both tenants schedules. We would definitely use them again in the event we needed to pack and move.

After the initial sale, there were various miscommunications apparently AT Starwood that caused several delays (promised 60 day delivery, but never communicated up/down the line). Once install finally happened, several shutters arrived damaged and caused further delay. After having our plantation shutters less than 7 months, one broke (a screw literally fell out). The shutter was in a less-used room, so it's not even like the shutter was opened/closed daily! Starwood sent out a repair person, but he initially said a repair would not be covered under warranty. He did eventually find a fix with items from his truck, but now I wonder about the craftsmanship and life of all of the shutters.

Several items of mine were broken to the point of not being able to be used. the men were rough with our bongings at the end of the move and even after my husband made a comment, it was disregarded and he was told " if anything is broken Kevin will pay you for damages " . when we unloaded and saw how bad damages were I sent pictures to Kevin. He told me I should have been watching the guys more closely during the job and that he is not going to pay for anything !!! A bed frame was completely cracked in half, flat screen TVs were placed on the floor and ruined, dressers have giant chunks broken off, a toy chest was cracked. he told me we should have provided more blankets, I still had 20 left over to sell back to UHAUL! I provided rachet straps , they weren't used ! I shouldn't have to monitor a companies every move, I was doing a move out clean while they were loading, and my husband did make a comment and we were told we would be reimbursed if damages occurred ! LIES ! so upsetting , we have had to spend hundreds of dollars replacing tvs, and a whole new bed frame, and we are still working on fixing cracks in furniture. Upon initial visit we talked a bit on what our needs were and primary use. He then sent a few estimates with various components. He only uses quality products like Episode speakers, JVC projector etc. Once we set a date. Team smart homes came over and did quick work. We had our in ceiling speakers in the house up and working within a day. Day 2 they went to work on the media room. It was finished in a day and a half as well. They took care to clean up and mess that was made. We also had them convert our phone lines to internet lines. We had CAT5E lines running already to it wasn't a big chore but I was glad to finally have some use with those phone lines. We really love our home theater. Sound and picture quality couldn't be better. Also our Sonos music system with the ceiling speakers around the house is awesome. inside or outside you can control the music and volume with your phone/tablet. Highly recommend it.
