Incredibly unprofessional firm. Lack of detail oriented work that you would expect from lawyers. They had a paralegal? (Jacqueline) call and ask questions who just talked over me the entire time- dragging on the phone call and not allowing me to give her the information she is actually asking for. They got our name and case mixed up. Misspelling names. Is this really who you want representing you? Basically they will tell you have a case- create work to use up your retainer and then drop your case leaving you high and dry. The last I heard from them- Chris Henderson called me while at work and left a voicemail saying if I didn't call him back within a few hours he would drop my case. Then when on the phone I felt like he was acting like the opposing counsels lawyer- the rudeness and derision in his tone says everything. Stay far, far away. read more

If there was a 0 star that's what I would give them. My experience was terrible with this firm. It started with them demanding the retainer "we need it today" which should have been a red flag. Then 3 different people asked me to provide the same documents. When I told them I have already provided all what they asked for they said they didn't have it. 3 times. Now it makes sense, this is how they charge the time they spend on the case. 3 people means 3 times the money. Second red flag. The third one was perhaps the biggest red flag. They called to ask questions except they interrupted me every single time I tried answering the questions. So I emailed the attorney requesting someone else handling the case as this experience was unacceptable from a "professional" firm, but now we know they are not that as they defended the extremely disrespectful way of talking to their client. Rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, mean are just the few words that can describe how I was treated. So then after telling me how this is an easy case, they start telling me they aren't getting a response from the other party. So what now???? Am I not paying you dear attorney to figure it out? So then they asked for a bunch of documents that made no sense what so ever. If it did they would have used it after I provided them all. So again another nice way to charge for work done that was unnecessary. So now at this point I'm very concerned, disappointed, disrespected, and lost all hope with this firm. Now it's clear that they want my money and inflate the document gathering work to but through the retainer yet nothing has moved in the case and now they are telling me that it probably won't go anywhere. I have asked them multiple times to do what we needed done, but they didn't move a finger. I have all the email communication with them that shows me asking the same thing over and over again. So the next red flag was that the name was misspelled on the documents all these months. They never corrected it. The next red flag was that they mixed up my case with someone else's in New York. There's a few more but I think I've said enough. So I can only say, I wish i went with a different firm. They dropped the case and took my money. I got nothing done. So I hope this will help the people out there to make the right decision about hiring this firm. read more

Requested help with a medical malpractice wrongful death case that was already filed. They requested the details so I sent them the medical records CD through USPS and it was someway lost. The sent me a retainer agreement which stated they wanted 50% of the gross amount recovered. When I asked why they wanted so much and stated California limits this to 33% they told me they could not take my case at the last moment. Not professional stating that it wasn't something they could help me with. They let me down at the last moment before my court date. read more

I had a car accident on 4/2021where my airbag did not get deployed and end up with broken shoulder and taken to hospital with medical bills , So I hired a lawyer in LA that examined the case and could not validate if the airbag was supposed to get deployed based on the angle of impact and was told to get a different opinion . I contacted MLG and Chris Henderson assured me that I have an excellent case as MLG has the best background in accident cases involving Airbag and we can sign a contract 50/50 contingency. but I need to fire the first firm that spent few months on my case .To make the story short MLG got back to me that they can't pursue the Airbag case and just at on my case till the time to pay the bills and the only thing they did negotiated with hospital and other firms to reduce the charges . The total case was $100,000 and charges were dropped to $43000 and MLG took away $50,000 and sent me a check for $7,900. I told them I was the one who was injured, and you promised me 50/50 and not fair you got most of the money as MLG DID NOTHING. Do you guys think this is Fair? read more
