beware: lawyer dan libby was recommended/referred by mold specialist to handle our water intrusion/toxic mold in our apartment. mr. libby communicated with us for over three weeks, obtaining information, providing his personal phone number, texting us, providing legal advice. we followed it all. then out of the blue his law clerk told us they would not take our case. we are both longtime lawyers as well, in fact, senior lawyers, but not in the area of personal injury and mold cases. mr. libby should not have led us on and provided legal advice if he was not going to take our case. and out of pure courtesy to two senior lawyers he should have at least told us personally that his firm would not take our case. shame on him and his firm. we should consider filing a complaint against him with the ca state bar. but perhaps we have more respect and consideration for him than he gave us!! do not use this firm! I found this law firm while searching for an attorney for my medical malpractice case. From the very beginning, I made one thing crystal clear: I only had until 9/2/26 to file my claim. I repeatedly asked them not to take my case if they couldn't help because I didn't want to lose valuable time I began providing everything they requested in March--medical records, doctor's notes, and all supporting documentation. They received every record they asked for. Throughout the process, many of my calls and messages went unanswered, and when I did receive a response, it was often days later by email. They also had me pay $1,400 for an expert witness review. The expert concluded that it would be "exceptionally difficult" to prove a breach of the standard of care or causation because my follow-up testing--including a cervical MRI, upper extremity EMG, and bone scan--didn't show objective evidence linking the procedure to nerve damage or CRPS. Mind you when I went into the procedure I had TWO working arms and hands. What makes this so frustrating is that I have been unable to use my left hand and arm for the past 10 months and have lived with severe pain 24 hours a day, 7 days a week since the procedure. Even more upsetting, the doctor's records state that I "tolerated the procedure well," which is simply false. After nearly four months of waiting, they declined my case by letter--exactly what I was afraid would happen. I lost precious time that could have been spent seeking other legal representation before my filing deadline. Communication was poor throughout the process. Whenever I had questions or wanted an update, I was repeatedly told that Mr. Libby was "too busy" to speak with me. Would I recommend this firm? Based on my experience, absolutely not. If you have a time-sensitive case, I would think carefully before trusting them with your deadline. read more

This is the worst law firm in the state. They do not work for the injured plaintiffs seeking their help. They work for the people you're suing. They collude with the defense to destroy their own clients cases from the inside and ensure the injured person ends up with nothing for treatment for their injuries. They drag out your case for years and then force you at the very end to agree to a tiny settlement or they'll abandon you. Then they'll charge you hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees for work they never did after destroying your case. You will end up with absolutely nothing in the end. In fact, you'll end up with less than nothing, they'll try to force you to pay for fees when they destroyed your case. You'll have to sue them for malpractice. They participated in Criminally Forging and Falsifying my Medical Records for my case with the insurance company for the defense STATE FARM. Every favorable review online is absolutely FAKE.
