I dropped in on two classes while visiting. Everything about it was great. Paul (the manager I believe) was quick to respond and was very welcoming & helpful from the get go. Both days Ethan was the coach. He was a great coach who genuinely cared about you having the fundamentals and was quick to help and give you words of encouragement during the tough (but manageable) WODs. I wish this place was closer cause when a friend and I had the wonderful opportunity to experience one of their GNO it was amazing!! The women who run this was kick a$$ . They made you feel you can do anything. This evening was a combination of exercise, clothes swapping, shopping and wine!! Since I at the moment reside on the Westside of Oahu this place is a stretch for me to make their classes. I hope when we move closer I can finally commit to this. The ambiance is half outdoors and covered. The inspiration and motivation is great. Lets say I can see myself strive here. I love this place! I have never been able to build this kind Of muscle tone and strength from other gyms and classes. The trainers are awesome! Marcus, Noah, Greta, Marisa, Rebecca and Jeremy are all very welcoming, motivating and Knowledgable. Traveling from CFEB box in Oakland Ca I wanted to get a workout in. Went to CF Kuleana and had a great experience. The other members in the class were super chill and easy-going. Rebecca the instructor was really big into technique and was very easy to work with! Tons of warm up which I like. I also love that the gym is outside. This was my best experience by far going to a new gym. I grew up around gyms and the environment here was by far the best one I've experienced to date. The coaches were consistently helping me push myself and making sure that I was doing each exercise correctly to avoid injury. The other members were very friendly and welcoming even on my first day. CrossFit Destination ROCKS!!! I stumbled upon this group during my short stay(5 weeks) on Oahu. Noah and Greta are the owners/coaches and they are superb motivators as are the members. It really is a tribe/family vibe. They really make you want it! Definitely gave me a much needed kick in the ass! Now that I'm back on the mainland I'm using the momentum I got from the CrossFit Destination family and I found another cross fit club, but I really do miss everyone from CFD. I just don't think you can replicate that type of genuine enthusiasm and care that Noah and Greta showed. Hands down best box on the island! This community is worth checking out. An easy walk if you're vacationing in Waikiki. My friends and I came for a drop in on the first day of our 10-day stay on the island. I am a box owner, avid traveler, and have dropped in to boxes all over the world. After being given the cold shoulder by another box close by, we decided to drop in last minute to Crossfit Kuleana, and I'm so glad we did! We were immediately greeted by members and coaches, and treated like family. Even though I dropped in at 6 different island boxes throughout my stay, I came back to Kuleana several times because it definitely had that gym home feeling. Noah, Gus, Chris & Mike were so helpful. I even got some tips which greatly improved my handstand walk that week! My favorite part was before each workout, the coach will circle up and ask everyone how they are feeling that day. I've been to quite a few Crossfit gyms since I started training, and they were all great places with nice people and a good vibe. And yet, none of them can keep up with Crossfit Kuleana! The location is great and so are the coaches. The programming is elaborate and helps people achieve their goals - no matter if it's a 400+lb squat, the very first pushup, losing a few pounds of fat, or just an overall improved quality of life.
