Sadly I am a bonefied foodie. I recently moved here from south Florida. And I have also eaten In the Mediterranean. I was disappointed . I ordered the vegetarian platter. So I could sample different items. The falafel was hard as a rock. Didn't seem fresh. The humas was good. The very small side of tahini was tasty. Sorry. If you had the best babaganush. It didn't seem fresh. It was smoky. Which is acceptable. People prepare it differently. Salad was simple and fresh and vinaigrette was ok. The rice was clumpy and seemed old. The grape leaves, a fave of mine. Was so so. Also seemed old. I actually like mine cold. These were warm. Pita was ok. You can get better at Publix My friend ordered the lamb swarma. He said it was ok nothing to write home about. He likes scwarma... in New York that hangs in the windows. He rarely complains. .

I took an order of baklava home with extra honey on top. It was nice. Not the best, considering the mediocre cuisine. It was a B+. I love Mediterranean. But I won't be returning. If you are ever in south Florida. Try sunrise pita or...

What a cool place in Downtown Valdosta. I have only driven past this city from I75, for about the last 35+ years headed north towards ATL. Today for the first time i was coming from the coast headed straight west towards Thomasville. I am glad i looked up when i hit that intersection today. I saw the sign on the sidewalk and in the window that said "Falafel" and Mediterranean. Those are keys words for me to go check this place out, if i have the time. Today i did. Corner location in a downtown setting is unique enough. Parked in a parallel parking spot easy enough and walked right in. There's a long sit up diner-style bar, which i love. Theres also tables and maybe booths as well. Nothing fancy and has a diner type feel throughout the whole place. They have beer and wine i saw and i am not sure about alcohol. I was still driving thru so i didn't pay attention. The menu however is very Middle Eastern, Lebanese, Mediterranean, Greek etc. Food was over the top fresh. They took their time preparing my dish as there were only a few people there because of the odd time of like 3-4pm and it still took a little but to get my food. A good sign in my book. I loved everything and I ate everything. The Vegetarian Plate had falafel, grape leaves, feta salad, grilled pitas, olives, rice, and I substituted tabbouleh. If i lived in Valdosta I would come here once a week. Prices are a little high but everything is these days and they do give you alot. I had enough food to split it but i ate all of it. I will consider going out of my way next time thru. Huge DollaBill Recommendation for this place.

The good was very good. Nicely served presentation and temp. The atmosphere was quaint and a tad quirky that worked well. With so much going for it I was sad that it was so poorly maintained. It cost a star and could have cost two. It didn't seem there was any pride of ownership. Not only we're things old but simple elbow grease was not evident. Ott did seem clean just not any polish at all. Sad.

We were driving through Valdosta, looking for a place with tasty sounding good & dog friendly outdoor seating. MO's delivered on those things and more. Friendly and attentive staff, quirky atmosphere, and delicious food. We got the meat and vegetarian combos, the tabouleh (which was freshly made to order & delicious), and the next level tiramisu. This little place was an excellent find! We ate here while traveling from Blue Ridge through Valdosta to Orlando. We were all very hungry and tired from traveling, and the restaurant did not disappoint. The owner was very kind and set a table outside to accommodate for the two dogs we had. He even gave them each water and a little rice and meat. The service was good and the food came out very quickly. It was all to die for: fresh, authentic, and worth the price. Unlike some restaurants, the pictures on the menu were accurate and showed the excellent food exactly as it came. The baklava was giant and quite shareable; the chocolate mousse rich and delicious. We are definitely marking this on our map as a worthwhile place to stop for weary travelers.

Cute little diner and friendly hostess. The food was good and the sweet tea was just right. I had the chicken shawarma, my son had the beef one and my husband had the lamb one. They said the beef and lamb were a little tough but overall the flavor was good. My chicken was cooked perfectly and had great flavor.

This is a restaurant that is definitely on a must try list. I'm a truck driver, and I try to eat different things as often as possible. The hospitality was inviting, and extremely warm. The restaurant itself was clean, and smelled of rich herbs and spices. The food was incredible, and filling. I'll be back!!!!

Mo's is a classic diner/lunch counter place. They serve the usual Greek/Mediterranean fare, but the food was way better than we expected. My companion had lamb shwarma which was great: garlicky with tender, perfectly cooked lamb, vegies, and unusual and really tasty julienned pickled turnups. I had a Greek salad with tangy lemon vinaigrette dressing which was excellent and included at least 3 kinds of interesting olives, as well as the aforementioned pickled turnups. A huge hunk of sweet, tasty baklava finished off the meal. Or so we thought.... As we were starting the baklava a guy came in with a bottle of wine and began shmoozing our server, Fay. He was a wine wholesaler who was trying to sell the restaurant a Greek wine. Mo, the owner came out to try the wine and after he had a few sips he asked us if we would taste it and give our opinions. It was good: smooth, rich, peppery and spicy. Mo is a charming, warm and outgoing retired college professor (We'll need to come back to get the whole story). We chatted for a while over the Greek wine and when we left, he gave us a takeout box with tasty pieces of pizza which I'm not sure was on the menu. Ingredients included sun dried tomatoes, lots of Greek-ish seasonings, mushrooms and truffle dust. If you see it on the menu get it. Delightful evening. Excellent food. Excellent company. We have a new favorite restaurant and a new friend in Valdosta.

A really good local spot located in the center of downtown. Perfectly portioned plates that will leave you satisfied and happy. The food was really tasty and I would recommend the grape leaves if you want to try something different. I love how the restaurant has so much personality from the snow flake string lights to the soccer ball ornament.

Schwarma was expensive. I got it as delivery and yes there is a delivery fee, plus tip, but a single order ended up as close to $40 for what was basically a Mediterranean sandwich. read more

Hidden gem in Downtown Valdosta. If you like Mediterranean food, or want to stray from the typical South Georgia fare, you will NOT be disappointed. Excellent selection of both meat and vegetarian options. I had the Falafel wrap with baba ghanouj and a side of pita chips and hummus. Delicious! Can't wait to try some of the other options. The owner, Mouyyed, was very friendly and offered me and my family a cup of Turkish coffee to finish off our meal. I highly recommend you give Mo's a try. We ate here because of the reviews. But we would come back because of the food. Fresh, tasty, great prices...what more could you ask for? Well, Moe came out to visit us (we know this was Moe because some regular customers walked by and said "hi Moe!". He recommended things to try on our next visit. I would say this was ok Mediterranean food. Was excited after reading reviews but was disappointed in the food. Schwarma's were ok but a little over seasoned and the grape leaves were so salty and strong vinegar taste that we wasted 2 orders. The lamb was good. They were friendly and fast for take out. read more

The perfect dinner for my half vegetarian and half meat eating family !! I got the Kofta sandwich. The meat was juicy and perfectly spiced. The sandwich had plenty of veggies and a delicious tahini sauce. The mint leaves made it extra yummy. The falafel is better than any outside of Jerusalem. It's nearly green with herbs that taste spectacular! The veggie platter was a great appetizer. We loved the humus and babaganoush. Overall a Percy meal for the whole family. read more

Absolutely one of the best restaurants in town. If you like Greek food, you'll love this place. The food is similar but with a Middle Eastern twist. I had the Chicken Swarma with hummus and my dining companions tried the vegetable platter, the Za'atar Chicken, and Beef Swarma with babaganoush. It was all tasty, fresh, and a wonderful change from chain restaurants. We'll be back, and soon. read more

We had an Ultra-Fabulous experience dining at Mo's Mediterranean Table!!! As a teacher, I've travelled and eaten at restaurants from London to Paris, Brussels to Montreal, NYC to Jerusalem and even Istanbul. So I enjoy restaurants, but when my husband and I found this modest little place in Valdosta, Georgia--what a surprise! I never expected the best Middle Eastern food! I loved the vegetarian plate with falafel, hummus, baba ghanous, pita, and all the trimmings, followed by the most delicious baklava I've ever had. My husband had the beef shawarma that was wonderfully tender with crisp onion, lettuce and tomato that he thoroughly enjoyed. The service was most friendly, and we enjoyed meeting the genius chef and owner, Mo, who made us feel like family. I was excited about finding out that Valdosta had a Mediterranean restaurant a few weeks ago. So I finally had a chance to visit the establishment Wednesday (16JAN21)...and to my surprise I really enjoyed my lunch for mort than just the food. Upon first glance when entering restaurant it was quaint cozy and warm. The lady that took your order was very nice and personable. Once I placed my order and took my seat, I had to get up and get some condiments, to my surprise a White guy spoke to me. Didn't know him from Adam but we struck up a conversation that lasted for about 7 minutes. It was a pleasant conversation, in which I didn't know his political beliefs nor his past but I enjoyed talking to him. I've always lived by this "One person at a time" to bridge gaps between ethnicity, religion, political party and/or gender. All because of Mo' s I had a great conversation at lunch. Oh yeah, I ordered 1/2 Lamb Shwarma and fries. Which was excellent. The pita was Well seasoned, fresh, juicy plus the fries were fresh and hot. Hopefully they will get support from the community to survive this climate we are living in now. The only thing I will comment about for far as improvement, is to add more items to the menu. We ordered through Grubhub for delivery. We had specific instructions as I have Chrohns . We ordered over 50 dollars worth. Half was not in the order. The other half was wrong. No onions, no tomatoes and sauce on the side. Unfortunately the onions and tomatoes and the sauce were in both orders. We had to throw it away in the trash as I could not eat it. I contacted grub hub and they gave me an 8 dollar refund after spending 56 dollars and nothing was correct. Very disappointed and will not order again. read more

I stopped in today and felt right at home at Mo's Mediterranean Table. I tried their chicken shawarma with their fried pita chips/humus. It definitely did not disappoint and I look forward to trying the rest of their menu soon. If you or your friends/family are looking for authentic Mediterranean food near Valdosta this is the place for you. On top of the excellent food their customer service was a 10/10. I had the beef sharmwa and the grilled chicken slow with hummus and a side salad. I also had pita bread with this meal. The chicken was so juicy. You could taste the lemon, herbs, and spices. The hummus was very good as well. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for Mediterranean food.

I finally had to say that I have questions because all the heard was "beef". What I wanted to know is if I could get the gyro disassembled. I prefer to eat the meat and pita separately because I just don't eat that much bread. She asked someone who assured me that this could be done. (If it couldn't, I would have been perfectly happy going next door. It was delivered completely assembled and the person just walked off without a word. I don't know why but this saddened me. So, I started to eat it as it was and the meat had gristle through it- and I don't mean in just 4-5 pieces. I'm not sure how you quality control that unless you actually cut the meat yourself. I felt a bit let down because I had tipped well before the food was delivered. The restroom was clean and I appreciate that. There was no salt and pepper on the table but the delivery person (same as cashier) didn't ask if I needed anything. I don't know if I will be back.
